Please return to your seats.” As the national response to the historic pandemic shutdown shifted, the 2021–22 season marked the return to nearly full levels of arts programming at the Aronoff Center for the Arts and Cincinnati Music Hall, in the Weston Art Gallery, and throughout the region with our education and community engagement efforts.

There is much for which to be grateful during this year of recovery and reimagination. Numerous local, state, and federal government agencies granted relief funding that allowed us to rebuild our staff and reopen our venues. Medical professionals from across the region and the nation were an invaluable resource that guided our ever-shifting health and safety protocols.

Our extremely loyal sponsors, donors, and members continued their generous support even during the most challenging of times.

We are especially thankful for the many people behind-the-scenes and on our stages who are essential to the transformative work we do each day in our venues and in the community: an insightful and empathic Board of Trustees; a passionate and dedicated staff; helpful and friendly volunteers; resilient and collaborative resident companies; and our remarkably talented artists and technicians.

Most importantly, we are grateful to our devoted audience members who returned to their seats time after time after such an over-extended intermission. The circle of art would not be complete without their energy and engagement.

Over the years, we have built a level of trust and support for one another, strengthened by our shared experience with the pandemic.

We are pleased to present to you our 2022 Report to the Community, which highlights much of our activity during the 2021–22 season. The Report also spotlights select individuals and companies, many of whom have supported us since the beginning of our combined operation of the Aronoff Center and Music Hall more

These intriguing national tours offered diverse audiences an eclectic mix of entertainment options to compliment a revitalized arts season in the Tri-state.

Aronoff Center – Procter & Gamble Hall

Originally scheduled for March 2020 before the shutdown, this hit interactive live event finally gave some lucky regional contestants the chance to “Come On Down” and play classic games from television’s most popular game show.

Menopause The Musical® Aronoff Center – Jarson-Kaplan Theater

This celebration of women who find themselves at any stage of “The Change” was seen by nearly 4,000 women (and men), many of whom joyously sang along in solidarity to parodies from classic pop songs of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.

Alton Brown Live— Beyond The Eats Aronoff Center – Procter & Gamble Hall

Television personality, author, and Food Network star Alton Brown wowed fans of all ages with an interactive show that included cooking, comedy, music, a pinch of madness, and “potentially dangerous science stuff.”

RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles Cincinnati Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

Originally scheduled for May 2020 at the Aronoff Center, this popular theatrical event was rescheduled to Music Hall. In addition to paying tribute to The Beatles’ Abbey Road, the acclaimed tribute band performed favorite hits from the “Rooftop Concert.”

This multi-ethnic company performed stunning classic and contemporary works that used the language of ballet to celebrate Black culture. In addition to the two evening shows, DTH engaged local students in school performances and workshops.

2 021 –22 EXH I B ITI O N S E ASO N The 2021–22 exhibition season at the Weston was a season of recovery and restoration. While the COVID-19 pandemic continued to impact programming efforts and overall attendance, the Gallery

conducted by Gallery staff and this year’s contingent of Docentitos enhanced the understanding and appreciation of each exhibition, as did informative Gallery Talks featuring exhibiting artists

SEPTEMBER 17– NOVEMBER 7

Jee Eun Lee: Drift Series: A Dream within a Dream Lee (Ft. Thomas, KY) is inspired by water as a powerful motif in her hand-built, ceramic, figurative sculptures. Exploring the relationship between human life and the natural world, Lee installed an evocative cast of suspended and wallmounted clay figures that hovered and flowed across the Weston’s street-level space. was able to resume a full schedule of exhibitions and successfully relaunch the acclaimed Docentitos Academy youth docent program and Families Create! workshops that had largely been cancelled the previous season.

In addition, three Gallery positions (assistant director, exhibition preparator, and parttime assistant) were restored in order to return the staff to prepandemic levels. Getting “back-upto-speed” was a yearlong process of concerted effort and adaptation to the ongoing pandemic as we began the process of reclaiming and welcoming visitors back into the Gallery.

Over 11,000 guests attended a diverse slate of exhibitions presented by artists who explored a variety of timely, pertinent, and relevant topics through sculpture, drawing, assemblage, photography, painting, video, and immersive installations. Public tours

and curators. Families Create! workshops and the Docentitos Academy youth docent program provided unique opportunities for parents and their children to participate and intersect with the attending public.

Two intimate concert performances by Southbank Quartet, with exhibitions as a backdrop, brought beautiful music into the Gallery spaces and welcomed new audiences. The only disruption to the Weston’s scheduled programming was the cancellation of the annual CANstruction® display for the third consecutive year due to supply chain issues related to the pandemic.

Our efforts throughout the 2021–22 season would not have been accomplished without the generous and long-standing support of our dedicated sponsors, many of whom have contributed to our programming efforts for numerous years.

Tidal Pull Independent curator Maria SedaReeder (Cincinnati, OH) organized this group exhibition, which was informed by the concept of water and its ephemeral manifestations to speak to contemporary themes of isolation, anxiety, and emotional vulnerability. Participating artists included Katie Hubbell (Philadelphia, PA), Lauren Hoying Post (Dayton, OH), and Loraine Wible (Cincinnati, OH).

NOVEMBER 19–JANUARY 16

Bruce Bennett: Love II Bennett (Jersey City, NJ) explored issues of gender, sexuality, race, and socioeconomic status in large-scale, black-and-white photographs. Love II was a visual representation of Black love from the perspective of the artist and his partner captured in intimate and informal self-portraits within their home environment.

Gee Horton: Coming of Age Chapter I—In Search of Self…Identity Horton (Cincinnati, OH) created an autobiographical installation offering a complex, multilayered conversation about Black male adolescents and their search for identity, acceptance, purpose, and love.

Summerfair Select

Kandice Odister: The Barbie is Her/Me: A Reflection of Black Women During Quarantine Odister (Cincinnati, OH) created vignettes and photographs to visually depict the lives of several Black women who’ve inspired her during the COVID-19 pandemic, styling and re-facing her diverse collection of Black Barbies to represent each woman.

To celebrate one of the most coveted and enduring arts grants in the region, the Weston Art Gallery presented twelve Cincinnati-area artists who received Summerfair Aid to Individual Artists Awards from 2016–18.

Participating artists included Christina Brandewie, Amanda Curreri, Stacey Dolen, Tyler Griese, Michelle Heimann, Anne Huddleston, Marsha Karagheusian, Lisa Merida-Paytes, Sarah Miller, Kevin Muente, Mark Wiesner, and Alice Pixley Young.

Sean Derry: The Breath of a Thing Derry (Indiana, PA) examined the potential for amateur solutions to complex environmental problems by repurposing objects and transforming materials into amazing kinetic and interactive sculptures.

Lori Larusso: Precarious Panoply In her painting installation, Precarious Panoply, Larusso (Lexington, KY) explored humans’ paradoxical relationships with the animals that exist closest to us. Larusso’s work highlighted the tenuous line between attraction and revulsion that shapes our relationship with the different species of animals in our lives.

Karen Snouffer: Synergistic Flirtations Snouffer’s (Mt. Vernon, OH) two-dimensional and three-dimensional process-driven works speak a common visual language, enticing the viewer to experience space through surprise, contradiction, and play.

In 2022, Roger was named a Great Living Cincinnatian as part of the annual awards presentation by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.

ELIZABETH (LIB) STONE

Lib is a founding member of the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Camp Stepping Stones, and AVOC (now known as STOP Aids).

Through her philanthropic efforts, she has generously supported such institutions as the Contemporary Arts Center, the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, and the Weston Art Gallery.

Kravetz’s (Cincinnati, OH) selective memories, embellished stories, and makebelieve musings serve as inspiration for her artwork. In her multimedia installation, puppets, toys, and larger-than-life-sized interactive art creatively told a narrative, revealing stories about the artist’s eccentric and wildly wonderful lineage and the joy in the resistance, resilience, and perseverance of being Jewish.

Cincinnati Arts Association’s Education & Community Engagement (ECE) programs promote life-long participation in the arts while contributing to individual, organizational, and community success. With a mission to educate, inspire, and engage the Tri-state region, these accessible arts programs ignite the imaginations of all ages. ECE has served more than two million children and adults since its inception in 1996.

While the impact of COVID-19 on CAA and the community continues, we are grateful for the on­ going support from our artists, partner organizations, community committees, schools, educators, and funders who make our programming possible. Our community, educational, and financial partnerships allowed our arts initiatives to be accessible, equitable, inclusive, and diverse in attendance and product during this unprecedented time.

SchoolTime In-Person & SchoolTime On-Demand Reach: 18,386

SchoolTime performances provided a resource to augment the school class curriculum and increase access to professional arts performances. While we still experienced COVID-19 related cancellations and format shifts, we were able to provide five in-person performances by Spring 2022.

Artists On Tour Reach: 13,653

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS • We rebuilt staff capacity by hiring a Grants Impact & Special Projects Manager in October 2021, Community Programs Manager in March 2022, and Education & Community Engagement Associate in March 2022.

• We secured increased funding from The Hearst Foundations and the Charles H. Dater Foundation.

• CAA was awarded a $600,000 Summertime and Afterschool Learning Grant by the Ohio Department of Education to expand our afterschool programming during the 2022–23 and 2023–24 school years.

• In-person ECE programs returned to the Aronoff Center and Music Hall.

• A joint venture with the Cincinnati Ballet provided 1,622 students the opportunity to experience Dance Theatre of Harlem with no cost for tickets or transportation.

Artists on Tour supported schools through on-site professional arts engagements that were integrated into the school curriculum. The program secured work for local artists and promoted quality arts engagements for schools and communities.

Overture Awards Reach: 626

The Overture Awards is a competition program in six disciplines that recognizes and rewards excellence in the arts among Greater Cincinnati students in grades 9–12. Its mission is to encourage arts education as an integral part of a student’s academic experience and create an environment that encourages training and appreciation of the arts. This year’s competition awarded $38,000 in scholarships: $3,000 each to six winners for education and training and $1,000 each to eighteen runners-up. Two Arts Educator Award winners received $1,000 each.

Ensuring that all schools and afterschool programs that wish to engage in the arts have access to participate is crucial in the movement towards equity. This subsidy was received by 98% of all participants of CAA education programs and projects.

Aronoff Center Rental Subsidy Program Reach: 18 organizations

Our ability to provide this important program, funded by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, continued to be limited by the pandemic. The program served eighteen organizations through twenty projects at the Aronoff Center.

Arts in Healing Initiative (AIH) Reach: 15,033 / Contact Hours: 29,332

CAA’s Arts in Healing Initiative (AIH) is a non-clinical artists-inresidency program with a “Focus on the Art” that serves patients, medical staff, and families to improve health and wellbeing. This year, AIH continued programming through virtual

Built on a vision of equity that merges Arts in Healing and services ensuring access, “Defying Gravity” was a Families Explore! four-week workshop series. The program focused on self-portrait exploration through hat making, painting, and writing that utilized the themes of the hit Broadway musical Wicked to elevate the well-being of neighboring school families. Visual art and creative writing workshops included students and family members from Bond Hill Academy, HaysPorter Elementary School, Carson School, and Withrow University High School.

Project Partners: FamiliesFORWARD, Broadway in Cincinnati, and community artists Annie Ruth, Brent Billingsley, and Carla Thomason.

Community Arts Initiatives/Special Projects Reach: 181

INDIGENOUS VOICES To expand our DEIA initiatives, CAA began working with a consultant from the Indigenous community in April. A small cohort of Indigenous people and CAA started meeting monthly in July. Our goal is to build Indigenous cultural knowledge and community throughout our region.

We hope to change how Indigenous culture is represented by building programming and establishing long-lasting relationships with artists, performers, actors, colleges, and associations.

I’M LISTENING BY ARTE (BRENT BILLINGSLEY) CAA partnered with this project that paired Cincinnati Police Department officers and local teens to create a collaborative mural. CAA provided artists to facilitate seven “I’m Listening” visual art workshops and artist talks.

We are grateful for our many BDAAC members who have served as advisors and ambassadors for CAA’s programs and policies for nearly three decades. Members have given their time, energy, and talents to assist CAA in building a foundation of diversity and inclusion. Most recently, they helped us develop our DEIA statement. We are thankful that BDAAC has taught us what it means to belong and showed us ways to put our beliefs and mission into practice for the entire community as we journey towards equity in the arts.

Holiday Pops Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

Vocalists Aubrey Logan and Michael Preacely, dancers from The Studio for Dance, and a chorus of singers from across the region joined the Cincinnati Pops and John Morris Russell for festive performances of Holiday Pops.

SEPTEMBER 14

Unfinished Business Aronoff Center – Fifth Third Bank Theater

Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative’s (CPI) inaugural staged reading after an eighteen-month hiatus due to the pandemic played to a sold-out audience. The acclaimed, nationally recognized play, cowritten by Susan and Doug Decatur, was based on their true life experience of competing on the Senior Olympics Basketball team and the love story between these two local authors.

Sonata, featuring concertmaster Stefani Matsuo and pianist Drew Petersen. The program also included Andrew Norman’s Suspend and Brahms’ Symphony

No. 3, a nod to the full orchestra and audience return to Music Hall since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Music Director Louis Langrée conducted the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in the Scherzo from Brahms’ F-A-E

Revolution Dance Theatre’s debut holiday event revised the classic Nutcracker tale with dancing dolls, falling snow, and the land of sweets. In addition to a brandnew story, the popular production included eclectic choreography set to the more soulful sounds of Christmas.

FEBRUARY

The Return of the Mendelssohn Organ Panel Music Hall

ArtWave’s Flow, An African American Arts Experience, welcomed a diverse audience of nearly 600 people during its twonight presentation of Grammynominated vocalist Jazzmeia Horn in her first visit to Cincinnati.

Dozens more attended an artist workshop led by Horn, whose voice, an instrument in itself, spanned multiple octaves and amazed all who attended.

The Friends of Music Hall is grateful to the Lichtenberg family who donated this Mendelssohn and Lilies panel in memory of Thelma M. Lichtenberg. Once used to cover the Hook and Hasting organ in Springer Auditorium, the carved panels were given away when the organ was dismantled.

Today the panels are displayed in Music Hall’s Taft Suite. The search for more panels continues.

APRIL 20–MAY 1

Disney’s Frozen Aronoff Center – Procter & Gamble Hall

Broadway in Cincinnati audiences of all ages delighted in the magic of Disney’s Frozen, which brought the beloved animated film to vibrant life onstage with the songs everyone knows and loves from the movie, plus an expanded score of twelve new songs. Some audience members wore costumes of their favorite Frozen characters to the theater.

Cinderella Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

Cincinnati Ballet welcomed thousands of guests to Music Hall for this classic tale. The Company managed strict health and safety protocols to successfully present the production. The work, choreographed by Artistic Director Victoria Morgan, also served to celebrate her 25th and final season.

Classical Roots Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

Celebrating Black voices and stories from American music and theater, vocalists Michael Preacely and Alton Fitzgerald White, opera star Talise Trevigne, the Classical Roots Community Choir, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra led by conductor John Morris Russell thrilled audiences in Music Hall and online through the livestream of the performance.

Carol Burnett: An Evening of Laughter and Reflection Where the Audience Asks Questions Aronoff Center – Procter & Gamble Hall

Multiverse Aronoff Center – Jarson-Kaplan Theater

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Exhale Dance Tribe was back on stage performing its newest production, which was a journey through movement and dance—a Multiverse stitched into one. The works included world premieres from Exhale’s directors/ founders/movement makers, Missy and Andrew Hubbard, as well as guests choreographers Carlos Neto and Lauren Adams.

Legendary television-star Carol Burnett charmed more than 5,000 fans during two sold-out events.

The evenings included questions from the audience and hysterical video clips in a format reminiscent of the legendary openings of The Carol Burnett Show, where her studio audience had an unfiltered opportunity to engage Carol with questions and receive spontaneous answers.

The Cincinnati Pops celebrated ten years with conductor John Morris Russell with a host of guest artists from some of the past decade’s most memorable performances, including Brian Stokes Mitchell, Over the Rhine, and Tatiana Mayfield. The Pops also performed Prelude in C, commissioned from Grammy Award-winning composer Eric Whitacre.

Cincinnati Ballet launched a new concept with the inaugural Bold Moves Festival. The Festival featured six rotating mainstage productions on two programs and included guest companies— Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) and AXIS Dance—as well as a variety of activities and interactive events.

To Kill a Mockingbird Aronoff Center – Procter & Gamble Hall

Academy Award®-winner Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterwork set an Aronoff Center record as the top-selling play (non-musical) in the Broadway in Cincinnati series’ history.

Starring Emmy Award-winning actor Richard Thomas as Atticus Finch, the moving story felt more relevant and timely than ever.

MAY 22

Bernstein’s Candide Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

In its full chorus, full orchestra, and full audience return to Music Hall from the pandemic, the May Festival presented a semistaged concert version of Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, featuring a talented cast of singers, narrator Hugh Dancy, full forces of the May Festival Chorus, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. The joy was palpable—the audience laughed, cheered, and clapped in unison as the cast took their bows.

Montgomery + Beethoven No. 9 Music Hall – Springer Auditorium

Principal Conductor Juanjo Mena led the May Festival 18

Chorus, May Festival Youth Chorus, and talented soloists in a program that included excerpts from Beethoven’s Fidelio, Jessie Montgomery’s I Have Something to Say, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in an epic season closer.

JUNE 10–12 & 16–18

Falsettos Aronoff Center – Fifth Third Bank Theater

Cincinnati Music Theatre’s successful production of this popular musical represented two of the company’s recent missions in action. The first is CMT’s focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through the show’s LGBTQ+ content and its diverse production staff. The second is the company’s focus on nurturing first-time directors through its Studio Series as a stepping-stone to directing a mainstage show.

Sidra Bell (Sidra Bell Dance New York, the first African American woman to have work performed by the New York City Ballet), and MDT’s Steven P. Evans and Jasmine Snellen.

This memorable event delivered variety, athletic prowess, virtuosic dance, and compelling drama.

JUNE 12

Opera for All Music Hall

Cincinnati Opera kicked off its 2022 Summer Festival with Opera for All, a free open house at Music Hall. More than 500 guests of all ages explored the venue and enjoyed familyfriendly activities, including costume displays, historical photo exhibits, stage combat and hair/ wig demos, food trucks, and a tour of the set for La Bohème.

Music Hall was a primary host site for Lightship Foundation’s Black Tech Week. This five-day, inclusion-focused conference featured more than sixty sessions, which offered attendees the opportunity to connect with each other, tech talent, educational programming, and investors.

Aida Music Hall –Springer Auditorium

Cincinnati Opera closed its 2022 Summer Festival with the grandest of all grand operas, Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida. Brought to life by more than 260 performers and stage personnel—including an all-star cast, the Cincinnati Opera Chorus, the Cincinnati Ballet, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and two Clydesdale horses— it was a fitting, triumphant conclusion to the company’s first season back in Music Hall since 2019.

THE 2021–22 SEASON marked the return of a nearly normal, pre-COVID level of activity at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall. Although many challenges due to the pandemic still existed, we were grateful for an exceptional team that exhibited creativity, flexibility, and unwavering resilience to bring us successfully into a variety of “new-normal” modes of operations in all areas of our venues.

We were fortunate that many of our long-tenured, veteran employees and volunteers remained with us during the pandemic or returned when we reopened.

The institutional knowledge of these experienced team members was a valuable commodity that was shared among all of our personnel, especially the newest members of the CAA family.

Our staff quickly became nimble and innovative as they implemented ways to reopen with social distancing, new seating styles, and safe access to restrooms and concessions. We were pleased that the vast majority of our returning guests—as well as our staff, volunteers, and artists—cooperated with our initial mask mandates, and in some instances, proof-of-vaccine requirements. A frontline team of health professionals from TriHealth skillfully assisted 20

our staff in managing this new relationship with our guests as they entered our venues.

Expert guidance provided by a variety of local, regional, state, and federal agencies helped us reopen safely, develop detailed health and safety guidelines, and continue operating through these uncertain times. This ongoing advice gave us the confidence that we were following procedures and protocols recommended by leading medical professionals.

An important part of the reopening of the Aronoff Center and Music Hall was an intense and unprecedented collaboration with our Resident Companies. Together, we worked to secure the best medical advice and place dozens of protocols in place. With often hour-by-hour procedural changes, we developed comprehensive communication plans designed to update our staff, volunteers, artists, and above all, our guests about our latest health and safety guidelines.

Our recovery efforts would not have been possible without the generous, invaluable funding that we received from many government agencies, most notably, the Shuttered Venue Operators Grants. This federal program allowed us to make modifications and

maintain staff in a way that would guarantee the future solvency and consistency of our operations.

While managing through these difficult times, we also completed some valuable projects, including major repairs along the east façade of Music Hall to stop/prevent water intrusion.

The project included brick replacement and tuck-pointing in several areas around the front of the building. After twenty-five years of activity in the Aronoff Center’s Jarson-Kaplan Theater, a new stage floor was installed. The project was funded by a generous gift from the Kaplan Family.

At both venues, we completed work with GBBN Architects to

develop a long-term capital needs assessment, which will help us prepare for future major projects and necessary repairs.

We continued to work with our new Music Hall neighbor, the professional soccer club FC Cincinnati, as well as 3CDC and other partners, to address as many conflicts with the new stadium as possible, such as scheduling and parking availability. In addition, our research of possible soundmitigation solutions was ongoing, and at the recommendation of our acoustician, Akustiks, we implemented soundproofing in two key locations in Music Hall’s attic.

R E S I D E NT CO M PA N I E S This season, we were thrilled that the curtain finally rose again on full seasons of theater, music, and dance from our acclaimed resident companies. We are grateful for their partnership and support during the lengthy recovery process after the pandemic shutdown. As always, we are proud and privileged to work with these remarkable organizations to bring worldclass arts and entertainment experiences to Tri-state audiences.

As an invaluable human asset to CAA, our volunteers share their time, talents, and enthusiasm for the arts by ushering at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall and by assisting with various projects across the organization.

Even through the uncertainties of the pandemic, our loyal volunteer corps remained committed, with 33 individual founding volunteers still active in their 26th consecutive season.

During the 2021–22 Season, as our venues began to recover from the prior years’ pandemic

restrictions, more than 650 individuals volunteered over 45,000 hours of time—a contribution with an estimated value of $1,363,661. Additional estimates indicate that within the next five years, CAA volunteers will surpass two million total hours contributed!

We are incredibly thankful for our volunteers and their unending support year after year, as they are spirited arts ambassadors for our region. We look forward to our shared experiences together in future seasons.

DURING THE 2021–22 SEASON, we were thrilled to return to what we do best: manage our extraordinary venues—the Aronoff Center and Music Hall—and welcome our guests for unforgettable arts and entertainment experiences. Overture Awards Online Auction As an extension of our Dancing for the Stars fundraiser, this year’s Overture Awards online auction raised $16,000 for CAA’s arts education programs. The auction featured a variety of items generously donated by local businesses and friends, including stunning pieces of jewelry; works from local artists; and theatre, concert, and sports tickets.

More than 450 guests attended the fourteenth season of our successful Dancing for the Stars, which raised over $90,000 to benefit CAA’s Overture Awards and arts education programs.

Tina was a vital and integral part of CAA for nearly three decades. She weathered numerous storms as she ensured the financial stability of the organization and successfully guided us through the many complicated stages of acquiring COVIDrelief funding during the pandemic. She oversaw all of CAA’s financial matters including investments, finances, budgets. and compliance. Upon the conclusion of the renovation and re-opening of Music Hall, Tina managed the finances and accounting for the Music Hall Revitalization Company.

Nearly all that CAA has accomplished has included her expertise. Even in her current retirement, Tina remains deeply respected, admired, and missed by our staff and Trustees.

We are forever grateful for the time, dedication, and remarkable talents that she shared with us.

With his calm and steady demeanor, Dudley has helped to lead a wide variety of successful projects that have strengthened and improved our region. Through his decades of dedication as our Board Chairman, he oversaw the management of Music Hall, the design and construction of the Aronoff Center, the successful merger that combined the management of Music Hall and the Aronoff Center, the major $143 million renovation of Music Hall, and our recovery efforts after the recent pandemic shutdown.

He continues to bring his highly respected involvement and support to many area organizations.

We are immensely grateful for Dudley’s many years of loyal service, committed leadership, fiscal responsibility, and true friendship.
