Social Achievement in Learning (SAIL) Program

The Social Achievement in Learning (SAIL) program, launched in Fall 2024, is designed for academically capable students with social or emotional challenges that may otherwise prevent them from reaching their full potential in a traditional college environment. SAIL is appropriate for students who would benefit from social assistance, transitional support, self-advocacy skills, and alternative housing, and who have a primary diagnosis of ASD, anxiety, depression, or self-report a demonstrated need for these support services.

The SAIL team includes a Speech Language Pathologist, a Wellness Coordinator, and Community Directors with specialized training in ASD and students’ social, behavioral, and organizational needs.

"The SAIL program supports students to thrive in the social and campus-wide aspects of college life. Curry has been a leader in supporting students with learning challenges to achieve academic success, and we are proud to continue to lead the way in providing social support to reach an even larger group of neurodiverse students.”-Sarah Hannigan, SAIL Program Coordinator
