myCurry for Families Your parents and family members have had an important role in supporting your education throughout the years. They can continue to be important partners in helping you achieve success in your college career.

You are able to authorize designated family members or guardian(s) to view your grades, academic schedule, and/or student financial information directly within myCurry. The myCurry Family Portal is different than the Curry Family Hub. Your family members will still be able to access important information and news through the Curry Family Hub.

The Curry Commitment R E A DY TO C O M M I T ?

Members of the Class of 2030 will be invited to join the Curry Commitment program in September of 2026. Beginning in October, you will dive right into exciting events and programs, all with the guidance of Curry faculty, staff, alumni, and employer partners, including:

OUR JOB PROMISE, MADE FOR YOU The Curry Commitment is the only job-guarantee program in Massachusetts, giving you four years of career readiness in key focus areas like self-development, communication, equity and inclusion, leadership, and technology. If you fully participate in the program and don’t receive a job offer or graduate school acceptance within six months of graduation, you can choose one from the following: • Loan Relief: We’ll pay your federal student loan payments for up to 12 months while you receive continued career guidance.

• Paid Internship: We’ll connect you with a paid internship in your study area for up to 12 months.

• Graduate Studies Boost: We’ll waive your first six credits of graduate studies at Curry, which participants may take as a non-matriculated student.

• Exploring your preferred major(s) and options for related careers.

• Developing your professional self through learning how to leverage your high school and college experiences on a resume.

• Strengthening your professional communication skills through panels, career fairs, and networking events for career exploration that will engage Curry alumni and employers.

• Assessing your values, interests, and skills to develop a strategy for engaging in experiential learning opportunities like student organizations, leadership, volunteering, research, and internships.

New Student Checklist

Please complete these checklist items in a timely manner so that we may successfully finalize your enrollment with Curry College.

YOU DID IT! You made your decision to join Curry College in the fall. Now it is time to complete a series of activities and forms

to prepare you for your first day on campus! Log into the myCurry portal and select the red Canvas icon to access the course titled “New Student Checklist and Resources.” Here, you will find the actions to take and forms required of all new students.

Share with us your interests and preferences so that we can help create the best schedule for you. Must be completed before attending Orientation.

To complete the Curry College health entry requirements please log into your myCurry Portal using your credentials and Curry email. Once logged in, click on the PyraMED icon and select the Forms section in the top header. Complete the Required Forms:

 MATH ASSESSMENT Complete this online math assessment, which is 35 questions in length, to determine your readiness to take a First-Year Core Quantitative course. This assessment will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete.

It is untimed, so you may take as much time as you would like. You may use a calculator and scratch paper as you work. Must be completed by June 1, 2026.

 SOCIAL SECURITY VERIFICATION The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations mandate Curry College to provide the IRS with identifying information, including but not limited to name and social security number, for all students who have a qualifying financial transaction on their student account.

The information you provide allows the College to provide you with a 1098T form for tax-filing purposes and to report the same information to the IRS.

 ROOM AND BOARD AGREEMENT (Resident students only)

If you plan to live on campus in a Curry College residence hall, complete the room and board agreement and the housing preference forms. All housing forms must be received by July 1, 2026 in order to guarantee on-campus housing.

2) Immunization History Form: Complete this form and upload a copy of your immunization record.

If you don’t have a copy, you can request it from your doctor’s office.

 EMERGENCY CONTACT Complete this form to let us know how to reach you and/or your family or guardian in an emergency.

Please remember to update this information if anything changes throughout the year. Please note this information will also be used during testing of emergency notification systems.

OPTIONAL  FINANCIAL AID STATUS View the status of your financial aid application. Remember, the Office of Student Financial Services is always available to answer your questions or address any concerns you may have – they’re just a quick phone call away!

 HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires colleges and universities to provide a qualified health insurance plan. Curry College provides this coverage to all students who are enrolled in nine or more credit hours unless you complete the online waiver.

 RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE Share your religious preference to help inform what programs and services may best meet the needs of our community, and foster your spiritual growth and religious practices.

 H OUSING ACCOMMODATION REQUEST DUE TO DISABILITY If you wish to apply for special housing accommodations due to a disability, you, the student, must complete the online request form by June 15. In addition, a licensed and qualified medical physician, clinician, or therapist currently treating you must complete the Healthcare Documentation for your Housing Accommodation Request and return it to the Office of Accessibility Services

by June 15 for your request to be reviewed. The College cannot guarantee your request will be approved. General notes or statements without sufficient supporting information may limit the College’s ability to process the accommodation request. Information that lacks a signature or information concerning appropriate provider credentials will not be accepted. Additionally, documentation prepared by parents or relatives of the requesting student is not acceptable.

CALLING ALL COMMUTERS! If you decide to commute, you’ll join nearly a third of our undergrad­uate student body who chose Curry College for their academic destina­tion.

Kennedy Academic Building. Grab a cup of coffee or a meal in the din­ing marketplace or visit our Starbucks or the new Einstein’s Bagels on campus.

Whether you have a ride of your own or take public transportation, when you arrive on campus you’ll find yourself in good company with fellow commuters and resident students, in­teracting with our faculty and staff in a friendly and close-knit community.

Hang out at the Learning Commons between classes to make or meet friends, work out in the Fitness Center, or catch a game on one of the many TVs in the Sports Café. Complete the Housing Preference form in the New Student Checklist in Canvas. To access Canvas, please log in to the myCurry Portal. From there, we can match you with a student with similar interests and study habits. Just complete your Residence Life forms and let us do the rest!

Request a Roommate

To request a roommate, please indicate your mutual request on the Housing Preference form on your New Student Checklist. Please note: Although we will make every effort to accommodate your roommate request, we are not able to guarantee the requested placement.

Summer Orientation Summer Orientation will be held on campus in June!

Summer Orientation will be a hybrid model with online components launching in April, via Canvas, and an in-person experience in June.

Summer Orientation will provide you with information and resources to prepare you for your arrival on campus in the fall.

You will learn all about our campus resources, understand what you need to complete for class registration, meet fellow Curry students who will guide you through the Orientation process, and learn about the ways you can get involved on campus!

Students are required to complete Orientation. More information will be forthcoming. There will be a Family Orientation experience offered as well during the students in-person experience in June.
