Edwards is the former Chair and Professor of Visual Art at Brown University where she taught painting and drawing for four decades. Artist residencies include Hambidge Center (GA), the MacDowell Colony (NH), Pouch Cove Foundation, Canada, and Auvillar, France. Her popular exhibition, Flourishing was the inaugural exhibition of the Currier’s Concourse Gallery in 2025-26. She is represented in the collections of Bowdoin College Museum of Art (ME), Rhode Island School of Design Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art (PA), among many other institutions.

RED TULIPS AND WHITE PITCHER ON TABLETOP
This luminous large-scale watercolor is representative of McColl’s decades long focus on the floral still life. He has exhibited throughout New England with notable shows at Union College (NY), AVA Art Gallery (NH), and his mid-career retrospective at St. Anselm College’s Alva de Mars Chapel Art Center (NH). His work is in the permanent collection of the Currier Museum of Art, Saint Anselm College, and Union College, New York.
EDWiN AND MARY SCHEiER STONEWARE VASE
Mary and Ed Scheier’s work is a result of a lifelong collaboration. Mary was highly skilled at creating wheel-thrown forms, while Ed specialized in decorating and glazing techniques. The Scheier’s legacy in the American studio pottery movement is widely recognized and is celebrated at the Currier. Their pieces are prominently featured in the Currier’s two Frank Lloyd Wright Houses, reflecting their prominence in New England collections.

CIRRUS BLUE
Hand knotted in Nepal with an exceptional 150 knots per inch and a wool and silk pile. Cirrus is inspired by the textures and colors of the coast and sea. Featuring weeping arcs of movement, it is quieted with subtle tone variations within a simple palette of blues and cream. Accents of silk lift from the field with raking light while tonal variations add more movement without distracting from the tranquil vibe of the rug.

Hyatt has been photographing the coast of New England for over 35 years, using blackand-white photography to explore the intersection of the human and natural worlds in images with emotional and eloquent beauty.
Hyatt is represented in collections across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. His photographs are in the collections of numerous museums including The Smithsonian Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The Addison Gallery of American Art, and The Currier Museum of Art.

RiCHARD OEDEL TABLE
Oedel is a New Hampshire furniture maker, writer, mentor, and educator. His work is exhibited and collected internationally, and he is a past Chairman of the Furniture Masters. The table’s legs are constructed through lamination an intensive, time-consuming additive process— while the mahogany top is shaped more quickly through reductive carving. These opposing modes of making echo the tensions explored throughout the series.

For the past decade, Kohlmann has primarily worked in watercolor and painting, creating a distinct universe in which anthropomorphous figures, flora and fauna peacefully coexist in spiritual spheres. Stylistically naive and folksy, the absence of perspectives and lack of relational scales translates a sense of togetherness and community throughout her work.
Kohlmann has had solo exhibitions at galleries in New York, Toronto, and Copenhagen. She has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson (AZ) Venus over Manhattan (NY) and Andrew Edlin (NY), and she is in the collection of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
