Intelligent Living Solutions breaks ground

By Marney Simon news@youarecurrent.com Zionsville-based Intelligent Living Solutions — a home and commercial automation systems provider — is the latest company set to build at Creekside Corporate Park.

A groundbreaking was Dec. 4 for a 20,000-square-foot building to house Intelligent Living Solutions and potential tenants. The business is under construction on Lot 9, fronting 106th Street just west of Graham Rahal Performance.

Intelligent Living Solutions owner and founder Dan Killinger began the business in his home and later rented office space at ZWorks before moving to its current location on Cedar Street.

Killinger said his goal has always been to stay in Zionsville.

“We did run production and sales out of (Cedar Street), but we outgrew that space. So, we had to separate and move our operations somewhere else, but we really wanted everything to be in Zionsville,” he said. “What this building is going to allow us to do is to bring back our sales and operations and everything into one place back in Zionsville…

We love the charm, the character. We have a lot of out-of-town clients, too, and they love coming to downtown Zionsville to see our space, to go eat at a restaurant down there. So for us, it’s all about the ambiance, the character, the community – and we wanted to be a part of that, stay a part of that and not leave as we’re growing.”

“As a contractor, we enjoy building things,” he said. “It’s really fun to be part of a project that is in your community. That’s exactly what Intelligent Living is. (The business) will continue to grow here (along with) their ability to affect the community, especially the higher-end residential automation systems and the other future prospective tenants of the building.”

Zionsville Mayor John Stehr said Creekside Corporate Park is near capacity, with the town currently securing letters of intent for the remaining lots.

Stehr said what began as an effort to

fill the business park with corporate headquarters 15 years ago has shifted as businesses face different needs and challenges.

“This is just going to be a fantastic area for growth and for activity and design,” he said. “One of the elements here that they talked about is (potential for) a restaurant here, hopefully some office space, and the business will be here. So, this (area) is going to be activated.”

Intelligent Living Solutions employs 22 people. Killinger said the new building is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

SullivanMunce announces 2026 ‘First Hung’ event news@currentzionsville.com SullivanMunce Cultural Center’s annual “First Come, First Hung” exhibit is exactly what the name implies — between 10 a.m. and noon Jan. 10, 2026, the first 40 artists through the center’s doors, 225 W. Hawthorne St. in Zionsville, will automatically be accepted into the show.

According to an announcement from SullivanMunce, the exhibit — on display Jan. 17 through Feb. 21, 2026 — provides an opportunity for both amateur and professional artists to showcase their talent.

Submissions are free for center members and artists ages 17 and younger. Nonmember adult artists pay a $15 submission fee. All types, styles and mediums are accepted, from oil and watercolor paintings to photography, sculpture, graphics, ceramics, stitchery, textiles, quilts and more. Artwork must be no larger than 4 feet wide and 5 feet tall.

All submitted artwork must be original and available for sale. Only one submission per artist will be accepted. All 2-D artwork must be framed — with the exception of gallery-wrapped canvas — as well as wired and ready to hang.

The annual exhibit includes two awards — the people’s choice, voted on by exhibit visitors; and the Edie Kellar Mahaney Creative Award of Merit, given to an artist in the show who “exhibits a unique originality and a colorful, creative expression that instills joy,” according to the announcement.

The award is named for the late Edie Kellar Mahaney, a founding director of the Munce Art Center in 1981 and an abstract expressionist painter.

The recipient is chosen by Mahaney’s family each year before the opening date of the “First Come, First Hung” exhibit.

Zionsville couple opens cookie shop in Nora

By Leila Kheiry leila@youarecurrent.com A new storefront in Nora is serving up sweet treats, one cookie at a time, with signature deep-dish cookies filled and/or topped with gooey flavors.

Crave Cookies opened this fall in Nora Plaza, 1250 E. 86th St., strategically positioned next to a popular Starbucks and across the street from North Central High School. Director of Operations Sarah Ayoub-Pacheco, a Noblesville resident, said owners Cody Selman and Jamie Little of Zionsville were looking for a new franchise opportunity. They also own a Nothing Bundt Cakes store.

Ayoub-Pacheco said a friend of Selman’s went to a Crave Cookies in Fishers and recommended it, which eventually led to opening the Nora store in mid-October.

“The concept is deep-dish cookies (and) loaded sodas,” she said. “We rotate the cookie flavors — five flavors rotate constantly.”

“local favorite” that sticks around for a couple months. The current local favorite is a Dubai chocolate-inspired cookie.

The cookies are thick and about 5 inches in diameter. Eating a whole one all at once would be an accomplishment, Ayoub-Pacheco said.

“A lot of them have a filling, like the Dubai one, you’re going to have that pistachio cream inside the whole brownie cookie,” she said. “Right now, we have a

turtle one (with) a big chunk of caramel right in the center.”

The store’s loaded sodas are also called “dirty sodas,” which have flavors mixed into classic soda pops.

“You can take a regular soda base, add flavoring to it, and then you’re going to have a new flavor profile,” Ayoub-Pacheco said. “The CoCo Lata coke (has) coconut and pineapple in it, and a coconut cream. So, once you get

all that in there, you’re getting a whole new experience, rather than just your baseline Coke. My favorite is the berries and cream Dr. Pepper.”

She said business has been steady since the October opening, but — atypical for a bakery business — the holidays are considered a slow time for Crave Cookies franchises. She said corporate officials had warned them about a likely holiday slowdown, but things should pick up after the New Year.

Despite the “slow time” of the holiday season, though, she said the store sees good traffic, especially when school lets out and North Central students walk over for a treat.

Ayoub-Pacheco noted that the business participates in fundraising for North Central and other area schools, as well as community organizations.

“We like to do events. We try to tie into the community as much as possible,” she said. “Just trying to find any way to connect with the community is a big thing for us — we enjoy that. It’s kind of my favorite part of it all.”

Public input sought on renewable energy

By Spencer Durham news@youarecurrent.com The Boone County Area Planning Commission is proposing an ordinance that would limit the size, location and types of renewable energy projects permitted in the county.

Much of the proposed draft — an updated version was presented Dec. 8 — pertains to largescale solar projects.

Future solar fields would have to check several boxes, including 1,000foot setbacks from nonparticipating property lies; rezoning and special exception approval; and not be larger than 400 acres.

The board will vote on the ordinance at a special meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 in Room 105 of the Boone County Annex Building, 115 W. Washington St., Lebanon. A public hearing will be held prior to the vote.

The overlay district addresses many common concerns regarding solar projects by requiring multiple environmental studies before construction as well as property value guarantees for all owners within a 2-mile radius.

If a property owner was unable to sell the land and their property value decreased, a solar company would be required to pay the owner the difference or buy the land at market value.

Companies would be required to set aside money to dismantle the projects and restore the land at the end of a lease. They’d also be liable to fix any roads damaged during construction or repair.

Solar projects could only be built on 5 percent of prime farmland. The designation is based on soil quality and determined by Farm Service Agency mapping.

John Merson, president of the county plan commission, said the ordinance is meant to preserve the county’s identity.

“Protecting the rural landscape of Boone County is pretty important to us,” he said. “We just want thoughtful development.”

If passed, the ordinance will apply only to the unincorporated areas of Boone County. Zionsville, Whitestown and Lebanon have their own boards that make these decisions.

Notably, the ordinance bans wind turbines. Merson said this was based

on the appearance of the large structures and not fitting the aesthetic of the county.

The ordinance is a proactive move.

There are no proposed renewable ener-

gy projects at this time, though Merson said they’re likely coming.

“Anecdotally, there have been conversations in the background about that,” he said.

Boone County waste reduction grants awarded news@currentzionsville.com The Boone County Solid Waste Management District recently announced 2026 grants to help organizations purchase infrastructure to begin or advance a recycling program, purchase proper disposal containers or purchase items made from recycled materials.

Ten area organizations were awarded $32,000. According to an announcement from the district, the 2026 grant recipients are: • Arc of Greater Boone County ($1,700) • Central Elementary School ($5,000) • Christ Lutheran Church ($1,900)

It’s a wrap battle Commentary by Jennifer Lawrence The Boone County Solid Waste Management District always encourages appropriate forethought about reducing, reusing and recycling, in that specific order. As we are in the thick of the holiday season, packaging can be thought of in every aspect of the three Rs mantra.

As far as reducing packaging, get creative with your gift giving. Purchase concert tickets, golf lessons, spa treatments, zoo membership, cooking classes — the list is endless because of the experiences that can be purchased and used all throughout the year. The packaging is an envelope that can be easily recycled!

Tangible presents need to be purchased from time to time, which means wrapping is inevitable. Reuse shipping, moving and cereal boxes to protect your gifts. Select wrapping paper that is recyclable by avoiding foil, glitter or mixed materials. Also, try to purchase wrapping paper made from recycled paper. Purchasing items made from recycled materials is an important step in closing the loop in the circular

economy.

Lastly, another good idea while wrapping gifts is reusing last year’s holiday cards as name tags this year. Plus, ribbon and bows can be reused as many times as possible, as they are not readily recyclable.

After presents are opened and the big screen televisions are hung, be sure to flatten all cardboard boxes before recycling them. If your curbside recycling bins are full, Boone County residents can utilize county recycling drop spots in Whitestown, Advance and Thorntown, which are open 24/7/365.

Flattening cardboard enables room for more residents to recycle. No materials should ever be left outside of the recycling bin. Also, remember that plastic air pillows can be flattened and recycled, along with plastic film bags at most local big-box stores.

A new exhibit in downtown Indianapolis’ Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art showcases contemporary work by descendants of America’s oldest cultures, with five featured artists using a combination of traditional and new materials and techniques to share their heritage through paintings, beadwork, sculpture and more.

“Emerging Current” is open at the Eiteljorg Museum through Feb. 22. The artists whose work is displayed are invited artist Jean LaMarr, Northern Paiute/Achomawi, of California; and fellows John Feodorov, Navajo, of Seattle; Erin Ggaadimits Ivalu Gingrich, Koyukon Dené/Iñupiaq of Alaska; Maria Hupfield, Anishinaabek-Wasauksing First Nation of Toronto, Canada; and Cannupa Hanska Luger, Mandan/Hidatsa/Arikara/Lakota, of New Mexico.

Each artist brings their distinct voice and vision to the exhibit, which opened Nov. 8. One of the first pieces that catches the eye when entering is a coyote/human figure dressed to impress, created by LaMarr. She explained during a media preview tour that Ms. Coyote was looking for Junipero Serra, a Catholic missionary in the 1700s, who Ms. Coyote wanted to “have for dinner,” thus paying him back for his harsh treatment of Native American children.

Serra — declared a saint in 1988 — is depicted as a tiny figure standing in front of Ms. Coyote, who is dressed

in purple tulle with a fur cape, and is armed with a toy gun, grenades, machete and more. LaMarr said Ms. Coyote’s accessories were a group effort, with friends and neighbors contributing items to her armory.

Stepping through to the next large exhibit space, the eyes are drawn to a massive serpent in the center of the room, made from old tires, pieces of pipe and other scavenged material. The creature is flanked by two figures in colorful regalia made with crocheted afghans.

Luger said he made the serpent out of byproducts of the hydrocarbon industry.

“There’s a Lakota prophecy around a black snake that would cross the land,” he said. “That prophecy has been applied multiple times throughout our storied relationship with the United States. It was referenced when the train was coming through, referenced again when the Keystone Pipeline was being built (and the extension was proposed) — all of these sorts of things.”

Luger said “snake” is the English word, but it’s actually a serpent — something monstrous. The two figures represent “the one who checks and the one who balances.”

“They’re based on these monster-slayer figures from our Mandan cosmology,” he said. “They had a kind of storied relationship with slaying monsters to provide space, to get rid of things out of balance in the landscape.”

“Somebody’s auntie, somebody’s uncle, somebody’s grandma made those and gifted them to somebody else, and then they found their way into thrift stores,” he said. “I used them in the same way that we would use hides — this is the hide of Americana.”

Nearby, Gingrich’s pieces glimmer with beadwork while paying homage to the natural world that provided resources her Alaska Native ancestors relied on — resources that are now diminishing. One installment depicts a school of salmon as they would be seen from below — the perspective of the Earth.

“Salmon are so important to us up north and especially for my communities,” she said. “My family comes from the Yukon River … and that fishery has been closed since 2017 and we’ve been experiencing salmon loss. If we look at them in this way, and we look at them with the value that they innately have, hopefully better choices will be made and recognized when it comes to making decisions about salmon and the places they call home, which are also my home.”

Junior guard provides motor for the Eagles

“She makes us go in every aspect of the game,” Eagles girls basketball coach Jennifer Drudge said. “She has a motor that never stops anytime we’re trying to break the press. The really special thing about Kenzie isn’t just the way she can score and the way she can distribute, it’s her ability to play hard every single possession of every single day. It doesn’t matter if we are in practice or in a game, she competes to win every single possession. When she gets tired, she finds something within herself to go even harder.”

Drudge said Chapman has outstanding leadership skills.

“She’s positive, whether she walks into a gymnasium, or a classroom, or a church, she’s making it a better place,” she said.

Through the first eight games, Chapman averaged 12.3 points, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game for the Eagles (5-3).

come with their challenges and positives to each one,” she said. “I think playing off the ball is fun because you are coming off screen. Being the ballhandler, you kind of step into more of a leadership role. As a point guard, you have to run the sets and make sure everybody’s in the right position. Learning how to get others involved as well is something that’s challenging. Over the years, I’ve gotten to be in the point guard position.”

Chapman, who plays for the Indiana Basketball Club, is shooting 37 percent overall from the field and 27 percent

from 3-point range. Last season, she averaged 12.5 ppg while shooting 41 percent from the field and 34 percent from 3-point range.

“The beginning of this season from the 3-point line hasn’t been as good as it was last year yet,” she said. “My 2-pointers have been relatively good this season. I’m just working on getting my 3-point percentage back up.”

Chapman’s main goal for the season is for the Eagles to win the Class 4A sectional.

“We just have to really focus and be disciplined during the season,” she said.

“As far as individual stats, I want to have less turnovers than I did last year, just one or two turnovers per game. I want to average double digits for points and be more consistent with that.”

HONORING SERVICE Former Navy officer inducted into Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame

By Leila Kheiry leila@youarecurrent.com Longtime Zionsville resident and Vietnam War veteran Joseph Alford was among 17 Hoosiers inducted into the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame in November.

The statewide nonprofit, which maintains a veterans memorial on the Fort Ben campus, honors a select group of veterans each year for military service achievements, veteran advocacy and community contributions. This year marks IMVHOF’s 12th year, with a total of 175 inductees.

Alford, a former U.S. Navy officer and retired Eli Lilly chemical engineer, is an active member of the Zionsville Optimist Club. He said he was nominated by a fellow club member, who initially submitted the nomination in 2024. Alford wasn’t selected that year, but IMVHOF officials strongly encouraged that they try again.

This year, he said the nomination included letters of recommendation from Boone County Habitat for Humanity, a group Alford regularly volunteers for; and the department head of the Chemical Engineering Department at Purdue University — his alma mater, where he returns as a guest lecturer, is in Purdue’s ROTC Hall of Fame and was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Purdue’s College of Engineering.

“Those were nice letters and they were written directly, by very respected people, to the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame,” he said. “And so, I think everyone agreed that had high impact.”

Alford, 82, served two deployments on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War. He earned two Navy Unit Commendation Medals, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

He said it was an honor to be included in the Hall of Fame. He noted that the Vietnam War was unpopular and service members returning from that conflict were not always treated well — when they were home on leave, they were even encouraged to not wear their uniforms in public.

Alford began his military service in the early 1960s with the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Purdue. At the time, he said ROTC was required for all male students for their first two years at Purdue. They could choose to continue with the program a full four years and graduate with a commission.

Alford said he chose to stick with ROTC and eventually was commissioned as a U.S. Navy officer.

“After graduation, which was in January of ’66, I was sent to a couple training schools,” he said. “Then I was assigned to the USS Coral Sea, which is an attack aircraft carrier, and we had two deployments in Vietnam.”

Alford was an engineering officer, helping run the engineering department. While his deployment wasn’t as hazardous as soldiers on the ground in Vietnam, he said there were casualties among his fellow crew.

“I don’t talk about this a lot, but I saw two enlisted men get burned to death as a result of an accident where a missile went off accidentally inside the ship,” he said. “The main hazardous duty is associated with the pilots. We were about 40-50 miles off the coast of Vietnam, and so … we were constantly launching aircraft, and they were flying over to the Vietnam land area, and they were … answering requests from the people on the ground that were in trouble be-

cause they were surrounded by the Viet Cong.”

For his first deployment, Alford said the USS Coral Sea focused on supporting ground troops. During his second deployment, the ship was ordered to North Vietnam to bomb bridges and interrupt supply chains.

“Our pilots went up and tried to destroy and drop all these bridges around Hanoi, and they did that, but at the loss of a lot of pilots that got shot down and were either killed or taken as prison-

After his active-duty career, Alford continued in the Navy Reserves while attending graduate school for his master’s and doctorate degrees in chemical engineering. He started his 35-year career at Eli Lilly and Co. and chose to continue in the Reserves beyond his obligatory service.

“I went ahead and stayed in until the 14 year mark … and only dropped out because my family was growing and I had to make a decision on whether I spent all my time at Lilly and in the military, or whether I I just chose to lead a balanced life — family being a high priority,” he said.

Alford continued to volunteer his time for veterans, though.

“This included helping to build Habitat for Humanity homes, most of which were in Boone County and many of which were built for veterans,” he said, and he also volunteers with United Way, including its involvement with Wounded Warriors.

Alford noted that attitudes have changed toward Vietnam veterans and he appreciates that the public now honors all veterans.

“For me, it is especially nice at concerts on Memorial, Independence and Veterans days, when the orchestra plays the signature march songs of the military branches and invites veterans to stand and be honored when their march song is played,” he said. “The Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame honor is special, in that it goes beyond what society is already doing and represents formal state recognition and appreciation of the contributions of veterans.”

Prevent need for glasses

The past decade has seen an unprecedented rise in myopia — nearsightedness — for children worldwide.

Myopia has increased at such a high rate, it cannot be explained by genetics alone. There is an environmental/ behavioral reason as well. It’s easy to point to the increased use of technology as the culprit, and while increased time spent on screens is certainly a significant factor, it’s not the only issue.

Researchers believe that too much near work, along with less outdoor time and long-distance viewing, is the main reason for the huge jump in myopia for this generation of children. Simply put, kids don’t spend enough time outside for normal eye growth and spend too much time indoors, often using a device.

In our office, we measure the axial length of the eye, which is the distance from the front of the eyeball to the retina. In kids that are farsighted or have no prescription, axial length is growing throughout childhood, but at a much slower pace than our nearsighted pa-

tients. We have tools now to slow the rate of growth for nearsighted kids, but even better is for kids not to develop myopia at all.

I give my patients three recommendations to help keep their eyes independent of glasses.

• Go outside for two hours a day.

• Near work, whether a book or a device, needs to be at least bellybutton or elbow distance from your eyes. The eye stretches to meet the near focal point, so the closer an object is, the more the eye elongates, which makes it prone to stay that way and actually become myopic.

• Take a five-minute break for every 20 minutes of near work. Kids’ eyes need a five-minute break while looking at things far away to get back to the resting state.

No-so-scary doctor visits Commentary by Carrie Starnes

For some kids, a trip to the doctor can be scary. A little preparation can go a long way in easing their fears before a routine check-up, vaccination or something more involved, like a blood draw.

Here are a few tips that aim to ease medical visits for the youngest patients.

BE HONEST For a child, honesty is the best policy in building trust and allowing them to confront the realities of the medical setting. If your child has concerns about blood draws or injections, call the office to see if there are options to make them more comfortable. Give your child honest answers if they have questions about a medical visit. If you know they will get a needle poke but tell them they won’t, this can keep them from feeling safe in a medical environment.

PLAY Play allows kids to explore their emotions and what they might experience during a medical visit. One approach is

role-play. Let your child be the “doctor” for a favorite stuffed animal. Pretend to give the stuffed animal a check-up or a shot. This helps kids process emotions that may arise during a medical visit and allows you to find ways to ease your child’s fears during medical visits.

DISTRACTION

Bring a favorite book, toy or even a tablet for games or videos during the appointment. Focusing on something fun can make procedures feel less overwhelming.

TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR Visit the hospital or doctor’s office online if available. Show your child pictures of the lobby, exam rooms and even the people who work there. Seeing the environment ahead of time can reduce the fear of the unknown.

Cheers! Huse Culinary offers limited-release specialty bourbon news@youarecurrent.com Earlier this month, Huse Culinary, Inc., — the ownership group behind St. Elmo Steak House in downtown Indianapolis — began offering its new limited-release bourbon, Rare Saint Trinity of Port.

Available for purchase at select Indiana retailers, Rare Saint Trinity of Port is a blend of four whiskeys aged a minimum of five years and finished individually in ruby, tawny and white port barrels. Only 834 bottles were released. Prices range between $79.99 and $89.99 per bottle.

Rare Saint Trinity of Port can be purchased at all Total Wine & Spirit locations and select Noble Wine & Spirits and 21st Amendment Wine & Spirits stores.

It also is featured across Huse Culinary restaurants, including St. Elmo Steak House, Harry & Izzy’s, HC Tavern + Kitchen, 1933 Lounge and HC Tavern by St. Elmo locations.

Bryn Jones, vice president of marketing and sales for Huse Culinary, Inc., answered the following questions from Current about Rare Saint Trinity of Port.

CURRENT: Rare Saint Trinity of Port is described as capturing the “warmth and camaraderie” of a St. Elmo Steak House evening. Can you tell us how you managed to translate the specific atmosphere of a legendary dinner service into a whiskey profile?

JONES: Rare Saint was inspired by the feeling you get during a great night at St. Elmo — when the room is buzzing, the food is memorable and the company is even better. We wanted the whiskey to capture that same warmth and connection. The blend has a richness and generosity to it that makes you want to share it with someone, which is exactly what hospitality is all about.

CURRENT: Finishing whiskey in port wine barrels isn’t new, but using a blend of ruby, tawny and white port is very unique. What does that specific combination of three different ports add to the flavor that a standard finish wouldn’t achieve?

JONES: Using ruby, tawny and white port give this whiskey a flavor story instead of a single note. Ruby brings bright, juicy fruit. Tawny adds that deeper caramel, nutty character; and white port lifts everything with a touch of lightness and subtle floral or stone-fruit notes. Blending all three gives the whiskey layers to explore. It stays sweet and full, but never flat.

CURRENT: The tasting notes mention rich flavors like butterscotch, caramelized butter pecan and toasted cedar. For someone who isn’t a master sommelier, what is the first thing they are going to notice when they take that first sip?

JONES: The first thing most people notice is the sweetness and smoothness — something like caramel or soft butterscotch right up front. The port influence gives it a round, warm feel with some toasted, nutty notes as it settles in. You don’t need

a trained palate to enjoy it; it’s a really welcoming first sip.

CURRENT: This release is bottled at barrel strength.

General consumers often assume high proof implies “the burn,” yet this has won awards for its drinkability.

How did you balance that high-proof intensity with the smooth, sweet notes of the port finish?

JONES: Even though it’s barrel strength, the port finish really helps soften the edges. The wine-soaked barrels add body and sweetness, which naturally cuts down the burn people expect from higher-proof whiskey. We bottle it strong so people can enjoy it however they like—neat, with a little water, or over ice. That flexibility is part of the hospitality behind the brand.

CURRENT: You recently took home “Blended Whiskey of the Year,” along with a Double Gold rating.

What does that level of industry recognition mean for the team, specifically for a limited release like this?

JONES: Winning “Blended Whiskey of the Year” and Double Gold means a lot to our team. We put a lot of pride into our tasting panel and barrel selection process, so having that work recognized on a big stage feels like a real win. It reinforces why we created Rare Saint in the first place: To craft whiskey our team is proud to make and our guests are excited to drink.

CURRENT: Given your roots in the culinary world, how do you recommend people enjoy Trinity of Port? Is this a whiskey meant to be paired with a steak dinner, or is it best enjoyed neat by the fire?

JONES:Coming from the culinary world, we never want to tell people how to enjoy something great — but we do love it after a steak dinner or shared with good company. Neat or with a little water really lets the port finish shine. It’s a whiskey meant for slow sipping and good conversation.

CURRENT: With the holidays approaching, who is the ideal recipient for this bottle? Is this strictly for the hardcore bourbon collector, or is it accessible enough for someone just starting to explore high-end whiskeys?

JONES: This bottle hits both ends of the spectrum. Collectors will appreciate how unique and limited it is, but the sweeter, approachable profile also makes it a great gift for someone just getting into high-end whiskey. It’s the kind of bottle you open during a meaningful moment or a good conversation — which is exactly what we hoped for.
