Be Inspired’, the North West Legacy Framework for the 2012 Games, was published in May 2007 and was updated in the publication ‘Everyone’s 2012’ published in July 2009. This outlined our vision for London 2012, which was for the North West to:- Contribute to the finest Olympic Games and Paralympic Games the world has ever seen- Use the Games as a catalyst to achieve the maximum economic, sporting, health and social benefits- Provide people in our region with opportunities
to engage with the pride, passion and spirit of London 2012The Legacy Framework focused on how the whole region could benefit in terms of Sporting, Social and Economic outcomes. During the Games, this included a specific focus on Olympic Football and the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relays.
