History of FedExField

FedExField, originally known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, was founded in 1997 and is located in Landover, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. The stadium was built by the late owner of the Washington Football Team, Jack Kent Cooke, for the purpose of replacing the team’s previous home, RFK Stadium.
