Sanctus (from St. Cecilia Mass) — Charles Gounod Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of thy glory. Hosanna in the highest.
†CALL TO WORSHIP
Come and worship the Lord, who turns water into wine.
We come to worship the God of abundance and grace.
When our joy runs low, Jesus meets us with hope.
When our hearts are weary, Jesus fills us with new life.
Christ provides more than we need and blesses us beyond measure.
We trust in His goodness and rejoice in His love.
Let us worship the One whose grace never runs out.
Let us worship God with glad and grateful hearts. Amen.
†HYMN OF PROCESSION
#64 Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty — NICAEA
†AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
We are not alone, we live in God’s world.
We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen.
