CLOSING PRAYER Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Free them from the jaws of the lion, lest they fall into darkness. In praise we offer to thee, Lord, sacrifices and prayers. Receive them for the souls of those we remember this day. CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER O God, we give you thanks for the saints who have gone before us— those we remember and mourn today, and those in the great cloud of witnesses who were strangers to us on earth but will be kin to us in heaven. Help us to realize that we are part of each other, part of the whole world, intertwined as a net. Broaden our thinking, stretch our imagination; make us aware that, in both giving and taking, we are part of the whole.
