The Cumberland Lodge conference report on 'Eliminating Modern Slavery: Enhancing the Police Response', published in June 2017, to present key findings and recommendations from our April 2017 Police Conference to policymakers, practitioners, police officers, leaders and influencers, and to raise awareness of the issue of modern slavery in the public domain.
The report was launched and discussed on 30 October 2017, in a seminar at the House of Lords, with representation from the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Policing, the APPG on Modern Slavery, the APPG on Migration, the Home Office, the Human Trafficking Foundation, serving police staff, the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC), the Police and Crime Commissioners, the Police Foundation, and the Centre for the Study of Modern Slavery.
