Where does your cotton T-shirt really come from?

What about the sugar you put in your tea or coffee?

And the bricks that build our multicrore homes?

Who are the people behind these? Do we know them? Have we seen them?

This talk series unravels the journeys of these three items to understand their provenance better.

The events will also feature:

A Bibliothèque Humaine, where workers can find their voice too. As some of them are not entirely comfortable being on stage, they will be featured as repositories of knowledge or “human books” that you can interact with.

A Behind the Scenes photography exhibition, that will bring into focus what happens behind our everyday items and the actual cost of each item.
