Start with eight points India is a country with a high rate of rape. Apart from the bad lightness condition, the lower openness street and the lack of toilet so that women have to go to the forest to peep with some risks. The most reason is that the lower female society status in their tradition. Besides, women in India are also faced with other problems such as child marriage, domestic violence, prohibiting women entering the temple, unfair educate resources and etc. This project will reflect woman's problem by inserting lots of useful units in the city. In order to work for gender equality, I decided to set up more toilets for women in New Delhi so that it can reduce the rape risk for them. At same time, toilet is also a signature which can gain more social attention for women. So, these units would be all of toilets and none of toilets.

Toilet and Bookshelf It seems like a hub broking the first floor of the buliding in the corner, and the bookshelf here creates a special reading place for girls who have no chance to go to school to get knowledge.
Toilet and Refuge It is a channel for women to go through the dark alley safely, which at the same time provides some refuges for women who is suffered from domestic violence.

Toilet and Theater It is a stage for women to show their feminine charisma. It can help break the tranditional image of women in Indian's mind which women would always be in the kitchen and do housework.
Toilet and Outdoor Bath It creates a place that women can take a bath safely beacuse they do not worried about peeper anymore. Besides, it is also a good place for men and women chatting with each other equally.

Toilet and Church It is a church that only women can pray here. It sets at the opposite of a temple that prohibits women entering, which means a sarcasm for gender disparity in Indian religion.
Toilet and Matchmaking Corner It is a good place for women in India to encourage them find love by themselevs instead of arranged marriage. It creates lots of rooms so that man and woman can have chance to know more about each other.
Asylum Psychopath is the most marginal people in the city. Asylum now is not humanized enough for them. They should not be treated as a monster which are excluded by normal people. In psychopath perspective, we are the people who are crazy and abnormal. So maybe what they need is not a treatment which can help them become a normal person, but a new lifestyle in their world. They should live in a world which originally belong to them. This project using a ideal way to reflect their inner world and help them set up a new pace of life.

kindergarten Sandy Hook shooting event lets people pay more attention to the Children protection. Comparing to teenagers who have more self-protection awareness, it is difficult for kids in kindergarten to protect themselves when they are in danger. Besides, children also face some increasing serious mentality problems. So, this project proposes a possible plan which can provide kids a useful protection in the school: when the danger is coming, channels around the building can let children exscape in a short time.These slide-like channels can take them into all kinds of irregular space which become a shelter for the moment. In normal times, as a relatively closed entertainment space, the irregular space can help children keep away from annoying reality and create a no teachers' pressure, completely free world.

Cha Bai's House More and more people today would like to keep a pet as their family. But there are some unavoidable conflicts between human and their pets. Animals and human need a new environment which can connect them subtlely and provide them enough independent space at the same time. This project will design a private residence for a famous cartoonist, Cha Bai in China, who creates lots of works about his animals and his own life. I designd this project on the basis of sensory ways such as auditory sense and visual sense which can let them feel the sense of presence of each other even though there is no direct contact in a undisturbed environment.
