regarding : The appeal lodged by Mr José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales, against the decision passed by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on 7 December 2017 (Decision 171331 PER ZH)

FIFA Decision 1. The appeal lodged by the player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales against the decision rendered by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on 7 December 2017 is part ially upheld.

2. The player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales is declared inelig ible for a period of six months for violation of art. 6 of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations st art ing as from the date of notification of the present decision . The period of provisional suspension already served by Mr Guerrero - since 3 November 2017 - shall be credited against the total period of ineligibilit y to be served.

3. In compliance with the Preliminary Title "l. Definitions and lnt erpret at ion " of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations as regards to the notion of " ineligibilit y" as well as art . 29 of the same regulat ions, the player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales is suspended for a specified period of time from participating in any Competition (which covers ali types of mat ches, including domestic, international, friendly and official) or other activity or from receivingsportrelated financia! support as provided in the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations.

4. The costs and expenses of these proceedings in the amount of CHF 3,000 are to be borne by the player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales. This amount is set off against the appeal fee of CHF 3,000 already paid by the player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales.

5. The player José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales shall bear his own legal and other costs incurred in connection with the present proceedings.

The time limit to lodge an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) begins upon receipt of this motivated decision (art. 116 par. 2 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code in combination with art. 80 par. 3 of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations).
