In addition, we offer the lowest operational expenditure (OPEX) in the industry—proven through energy efficiency measurements across all scrubber brands. Drawing on experience from installing and servicing thousands of scrubber systems worldwide, we have further simplified installation in our latest generation of scrubbers to reduce total installation costs. Every component has been evaluated based on total life-cycle cost to minimize maintenance expenses.

PureteQ guides shipowners through every step of the process—from initial design to final system approval and installation by the Flag State. The key to a successful project lies in close communication with all stakeholders. A designated project manager and their team oversee each installation to ensure optimal quality and efficiency, minimizing the off-hire period.

All PureteQ Maritime Scrubber Systems are designed for low power consumption. They are equipped with a state-of-the-art control system offering full remote accessibility and an energy optimization program. Featuring only the most reliable components from renowned suppliers, our systems deliver low operational expenditures (OPEX), a short return on investment (ROI), and superior long-term performance.

FLEET OPTIMIZATION SOFTWARE

Since 2021, our PureteQ Service Agreement has provided customers access to our cloud-based software, Pure-SPOT, for environmental performance reporting and scrubber optimization throughout their fleet. PureSPOT facilitates MARPOL compliance monitoring, operational performance assessment - including its impact on Specific Fuel Oil Consumption (SFOC), and environmental performance reporting, encompassing reductions in CO2, sulfur, and particulate matter (PM). Pure-SPOT aligns with the new IMO regulations on EED(X)I & CII on a well-to-wake basis. It enables cross-ship and fleet knowledge sharing among crews, resulting in cost reductions. In fact, we’ve observed crews engaging in friendly competition to optimize scrubber operations.

The cost savings are calculated by comparing the expenses of using HFO with scrubbers vs. compliant fuel. Our analysis incorporates findings from the SINTEF report and actual tests conducted by third parties on sailing installations.
