Monsignor Wade Golf Tournament
At Caritas, certain activities, especially the serendipities, were the main way I was able to get to know my classmates better. When in a comfortable environment to talk in, everyone opened up, and I understood people more than I did before Caritas. When they spoke, I started to see them through new eyes. This has taught me to treat everyone with more respect. Now I understand my classmates and realize you have to get to know a person.

My experience at Caritas showed me that my classmates can be much more vulnerable and open to others revealing their true selves, which has ultimately taught me to be more courteous. Before Caritas, I’d never known many people well, but all the activities gave me a glimpse into everyone’s world. I am truly grateful for this.
MATTEO RATTO ‘23 Being with the same classmates for nine years, I had certain relationships and experiences with them. After Caritas, my point of view changed. Whether it was class bonding or being vulnerable, these were a few of the things that we shared together. I now see all students in my class as friends.

Each fall, 7th graders experience a week-long retreat at Camp Caritas in Occidental, Calif. The retreat is intended to help them bond as classmates through group activities, and bring them closer to God through prayer and reflection. Because they missed their retreat in 2020 due to COVID, the class of 2022 had their own trip to Caritas this year.

Thank you to everyone who made our 24th Annual Monsignor Wade Golf Tournament a success! Not only did we enjoy a beautiful fall day out at Boundary Oak Golf Course, we raised a record high $18,000+ in revenue.
