PRÉSIDENT DU TOURNOI GOLF SWING 2013 Le tournoi Golf Swing 2013 de la CSUQ, fondé il y a treize ans, a été lancé avec pour objectif de venir en aide à ceux qui en ont besoin à travers des programmes et services de qualité. Au nom de tous ceux qui bénéficieront du succès du tournoi de cette année, j’aimerais sincèrement remercier nos commanditaires et participants de leur générosité. Également, j’aimerais particulièrement remercier notre principal commanditaire La Banque Royale du Canada pour leur soutien inconditionnel. La RBC se démarque par sa tradition de philanthropie et de son soutien aux importantes causes à travers le Canada. CHAIR OF THE GOLF SWING 2013 TOURNAMENT The CSUQ annual Golf Swing charity fundraiser was launched thirteen years ago with the objective of supporting those in need through quality programs and services. On behalf of all those in our community that will benefit from the success of this year’s tournament, I would like to sincerely thank our sponsors and participants for their generosity. I would particularly like to thank our major sponsor, The Royal Bank of Canada for it’s unwavering support of our community. In keeping with it’s tradition, RBC continues to exemplify leadership in philanthropical giving and in supporting important causes across Canada. I would equally like to thank all the volunteers and professionals for their tireless work and devotion that helped make this year’s tournament a success. PRÉSIDENT SORTANT DE LA CSUQ Le Tournoi de golf organisé par la CSUQ est devenu un événement communautaire incontournable. Cette journée rassemble non seulement les amateurs de ce sport mais elle est également devenue un haut lieu de rencontres conviviales entre amis, tous unis dans le même désir, celui de participer à une bonne action. Le tournoi de golf est une des activités communautaires qui nous permet de financer divers programmes sociaux destinés à des familles qui en ont bien besoin. Je suis heureux de constater, en cette cinquième année de mon mandat, que l’enthousiasme des participants va en croissant. L’organisation de ce tournoi demande de longs mois d’efforts; c’est toute une mécanique bien huilée qui se met en place pour que le moindre détail ne soit pas laissé au hasard. Cette tâche incombe évidemment au président, en l’occurrence, Raphaël Perez, qui, avec son comité organisateur et les professionnels de la CSUQ, se sont attelés à l’ouvrage avec un professionnalisme remarquable pour nous offrir ce qu’il y a de meilleur. Je tiens à les féliciter pour leur engagement et leur magnifique travail. Je voudrais également souhaiter à tous ceux et celles qui nous soutiennent tout au long de l’année en participant à nos activités ainsi qu’aux généreux commanditaires qui nous appuient dans nos démarches, une merveilleuse et inoubliable journée et également leur dire un grand MERCI. PAST PRESIDENT OF THE CSUQ The CSUQ Golf Tournament has become a necessary community event. This day brings together not only amateurs of the sport but equally, it has become a mecca of sociable meetings between friends, united in the same desire, to participate in a good deed. The golf tournament is one of the community activities that allows us to support various social programs destined to families that have a strong need. I am happy to point out, that in the fourth year of my mandate, the enthusiasm of the participants of this event continues to increase. The organization of this tournament requires many months of effort; it is a well-oiled machine that is put in place so that the smallest detail is not overlooked. Obviously responsible for this task is the president, Raphaël Perez, who with his organizing committee and community service professionals, got down to work with remarkable professionalism to offer us the best of everything. I would like to congratulate them for their commitment and their great work. Equally, I wish to address all of those who support us all year long through their participation in our activities as well as through their generous donations that assist us in advancing our mission, a wonderful and unforgettable day that we say you a heartfelt THANK YOU. J’ai été très heureux d’être présent car cela m’a permis de rencontrer et de retrouver différents membres de notre communauté, et ce, dans un contexte social tout à fait chaleureux et fraternel. Un gros MERCI à tous les bénévoles et aux membres organisateurs du Golf Swing 2013, sans qui cette journée n’aurait pu se réaliser. Mais maintenant laissons place à la jeunesse qui saura innover et amener de nouveaux visages pour la continuité de cette activité en leur donnant un sentiment d’appartenance à notre communauté.
