LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR THE MONTE AHUJA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS CENTERS FOR OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT are excited to share our 2023
Impact Report (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023). The Centers for Outreach and Engagement play a pivotal role in serving our students and connecting the academic institution with the broader business community in Northeast Ohio and beyond. The Centers include:
KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER: The Centers act as a bridge for transferring
academic knowledge, research findings, and expertise to industry practitioners. This involves organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions to disseminate the latest developments in business theory and practice. CONSULTING SERVICES: The Centers provide consulting services
· The Global Business Center and the Export Assistance Network (EAN)
and learning opportunities to local businesses, helping them solve real-world problems by leveraging the expertise of faculty, researchers, and students.
· The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center

Although, each Center may have a distinct mission, all the Centers serve as a crucial interface between academia and the business world, contributing to knowledge dissemination, economic development, community engagement, and the overall advancement of the field of business. Here are some of the key roles and functions of the Centers: INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT: The Centers establish partnerships,
organize events, and create platforms for dialogue and cooperation between businesses and the university.
and innovation by offering resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses. This includes an accelerator programs to nurture new ventures.
NETWORKING AND EVENTS: The Centers organize networking events,
conferences, and forums that bring together academic experts, industry leaders, students, and alumni, fostering collaboration, idea-sharing, and career opportunities. STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: The Centers provide students with
opportunities for internships, experiential learning, and practical exposure to real-world business scenarios. This engagement can enhance their academic experience and employability. Over the past year, The Centers have generated $275,945 in revenue through fee-based programs and $657,458 from gifts, grants, and sponsorships.
RESEARCH INITIATIVES: The Centers spearhead research projects
that focus on regional economic development, industry-specific challenges, or emerging business trends.
