The fishing club was officially established in January 2008.

The Predator Fishermen's Club is founded by the Association of Predator Fishermen and some of its members with a concern for competitive sport fishing.
This club was founded primarily to support the recognition of fishing as a sport and for development of a national championship capable of selecting a strong national team and representing Romania at European and global level.
At this moment the club it is being represented by 16 members with 4 administrative roles and 12 active anglers on different disciplines such as Street Fishing, Boat Fishing, Trout Area and other fishing races.
