Freedom is brought back to the city typology and material understanding by researching forms, materials, and the tradition of play equipment, With references to post-wart British playgrounds and Anne Holtrop’s Waterline Museum, the project blurs the lines with the domains of city (work) and explorative play.
Through researching the city, an understanding of form, scale, and material come to assist into the proecess of the playground design.
One becomes acquainted with affordances in a specific space.
