TRADITION OF HONOR. LEGACY OF VALOR. The Schriever Sentinel has been an integral part of communication to the local base community for the past 14 years. The paper has documented various incoming and outgoing commanders and command chiefs. It has paid tribute to the awards and contributions of our Airmen and Guardians. Historical moments were reported, including the formation of the U.S. Space Force, the merging of the 21st and 50th Space Wings into Peterson-Schriever Garrison and the base name change from Schriever Air Force Base to Schriever Space Force Base. As the sun sets on the Schriever Sentinel, a new dawn will rise with the Space Orbital on Oct. 7, 2021.
