We express our gratitude for all the sixteen years Dr. Ciancaglini has supported the visual arts department and the students from kindergarten to senior year. With his support, the art facilities have advanced to the highest level and continue to develop further. One of many examples in his first year, Dr. Ciancalini pushed forward a new exhaust system for the kiln room to vent the fumes of glazes on work being fired. He always made a point to express genuine interest for various art exhibits of all ages, asking questions, making sure to give feedback that has meant so much to all of us. Dr. Ciancaglini’s final and wonderful gift to the visual arts are the spacious, well lit, magnetic board galleries where we share work with the community at large.
We wish Dr. Ciancaglini all the very best for his next adventures. He will surely bring insight and innovation wherever he goes. We will miss him very much!
