Still have questions/concerns? Make an appointment with your school counselor ASAP. You want to select the most challenging classes in which you can be successful. Choose elective courses according to your interests and goals. These classes might direct you toward a college major or guide you toward a career.
Prioritize academics
Make sure you are well-organized; ask for assistance as needed Attend tutoring sessions at your school
Find a study partner in your class
Ask a teacher or your school counselor for study tips

Attendance is the #1 predictor of success in school! Poor attendance almost always results in underperforming academically. Learning that happens in the classroom cannot be duplicated. If something is keeping you from being at school every day, ask your school counselor for help.

An alternative to the traditional paper agenda, this site ensures you never lose your schedule as it syncs up between your phone and computer It contains information and multimedia content on a wide variety of subjects from economics to religion.

Calculating Your Grade Point Average (unweighted) Quality Point Average (weighted)
Assign a point value to each grade
A=4 pts B=3 pts C=2 pts D=1 pts
Honors classes receive an extra half quality point A=5
AP courses receive an extra quality point
Add the points together, and divide by the # of classes to calculate your GPA/or weighted GPA

Attend one Crosby Scholars Academy (in-person and virtual opportunities).
Complete 2 hours of community service and fill out form.
Maintain good citizenship by not receiving out-of-school suspension.


Every high school will choose one student in grades 10-12 to serve on the council
