PROGRAM OPTIONS
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) — Family Nurse Practitioner (BSN-DNP)
Prepares actively practicing RNs with advanced-level diagnostic and procedural skills to care for patients across their lifespan.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
— Leadership (BSN-DNP and Post Master’s)
Provides specialized leadership expertise in the evolving health care field.
Master of Science in Nursing –Education and Leadership (BSN-MSN)
Prepares nurses for leadership and educator roles in a variety of hospital, clinic and academic settings.
Eligibility for all programs
• A four-year nursing degree from an accredited program conferred prior to the start of the program.
(The post-master’s DNP: Leadership track requires a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Licensed registered nurse.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
FLEXIBLE, HYBRID FORMAT
Working professionals seeking to level up their careers love the flexibility our graduate programs offer. Our work-friendly, hybrid format allows students to take classes online and requires them to be on campus 2-3 times per semester.
GUARANTEED CLINICAL PLACEMENTS
Typically, students are responsible for finding their own preceptors for clinical rotations, which can be difficult. Our graduate programs provide those placements and remove that stress, allowing students to focus on their education.
DISTINCTIVE CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed to help graduates perform at the highest professional level by developing ethical leadership, advocacy and advanced nursing skills. Our programs include extended clinical time and courses not offered in most graduate programs.
BSN-TO-DNP AND POST-MASTER’S OPTIONS
Students with a bachelor of science in nursing can move directly into the doctorate track without completing a master’s degree. Students with a master’s degree can choose a full- or part-time track to obtain a DNP in Leadership.
INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE
Tuition is based on the number of credits taken in a given semester. In addition to tuition, students pay a program or technology fee each semester and may incur additional fees (such as simulation laboratory fees) that are associated with certain courses.

Tuition discounts are available for alumnae/i and certain clinical partner employees. In addition, there are opportunities for graduate assistant teaching positions that could reduce tuition costs. CERTIFICATION OPTIONS
Graduates of our Family Nurse Practitioner program are eligible to become board certified and licensed. Graduates of our Doctor of Nursing Practice: Leadership program can be certified as a nurse educator and/or nurse executive.
ELECTIVES FOR SPECIALTY PRACTICE AREAS
Unique to CSB, graduate nursing students have the ability to develop specialized skills beyond the traditional family nurse practitioner track through a specialty clinical course and clinical rotation.
ONE-TO-ONE DNP MENTORSHIP
Graduate nursing students receive one-to-one mentorship from experienced, doctorate-degree research faculty on DNP projects and theses. This personalized attention, paired with a small cohort size, creates a more enriched learning environment.
