The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) represents the interests of the Austrian business community on the national and international level. Its membership comprises all Austrian companies and entrepreneurs outside the professions and thus unites the country’s nearly 600,000 businesses across all sectors. ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA is Austria’s official trade promotion organization. In the United States, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA maintains offices in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Atlanta. These five offices, which are officially known as Austrian Trade Commissions, together act as primary outpost and contact point of the Austrian business community in the U.S. market; they facilitate trade, investment and business-to-business relationships between Austria and the USA. Industry: Non-profit driving gender diversity in tech and innovation Founded in 2016, Female Founders (FF) is an Austrian non-profit driving gender diversity in tech and innovation with a Europe-wide network of over 45,000 founders, business leaders, innovators, and creatives including 15,000 in Austria. To support this mission FF provides products, services, and opportunities that focus on three areas: Startups & Investment (Grow F – investment readiness startup accelerator for female led ventures), Female Talent (Lead F leadership accelerator for women), and Community Building.
