CSArts-SGV proudly offers a wide range of professional-level performance groups, comprised of talented student artists from all of the school’s arts conservatories. Recognized throughout the region for its unparalleled arts training, CSArts-SGV prepares its students to consistently deliver high-caliber performances and entertainment. The extensive variety of repertoire within our student performance groups is customizable to meet the needs of ANY event or budget.

Please note that we request an honorarium for each of our student performance groups. All performance honorariums represent the school’s actual expenses associated with student performances, including on-site staff chaperone(s), staff time for event coordination and student rehearsals, transportation, makeup, costume use and cleaning, and other necessary costs. All additional tax-deductible donations are greatly appreciated and are designated to the students’ arts conservatory programs for future enrichment opportunities and/or needed supplies.

VOCAL ARTS ENSEMBLE
The Vocal Arts Ensemble is a performance group comprised of top-level singers from CSArts-SGV’s Vocal Arts Conservatory. This group performs a variety of piano-accompanied and a cappella vocal repertoire, from elegant Italian and English madrigals to musical theatre, pop, vocal jazz, and holiday favorites. These talented young singers offer a unique addition to any event!

INSTRUMENTAL MUSICIANS
The following four instrumental music groups can provide background music to enhance your event or serve as the featured performance!
Classical Chamber Groups feature a variety of student musicians, from string players to small wind groups to a combination of both. Repertoire performed is primarily classical, but can include more popular music and show tunes upon request. Our classical String Quartet is perfect for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and other special events.
Guitarists provide an intimate yet entertaining ambience for your event. The performance can encompass a variety of musical styles, including classical, jazz, and flamenco.
Jazz Musicians and Combos provide an easy, upbeat, or intellectually provocative atmosphere for your event. Repertoire performed can include standards from the last 60+ years.
Pianists provide a unique and inspiring ambience. The performance is tailored to meet the specific needs of your event and can encompass a variety of music styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and show tunes.

FUSION
FUSION features several of CSArts-SGV’s most celebrated performers. Comprised of talented students in grades 7-12 auditioned from all of the school’s arts conservatory programs, this group has been praised for its high-energy, professional-level performances.
FUSION combines the talent of singers and dancers. FUSION’s preexisting repertoire includes 15- to 30-minute variety shows comprised of large group numbers, trios, duets, and solos, which can be customized to suit the needs of your event.
When you are ready to kick your event into high gear, let some of our talented vocalists and dancers add exciting entertainment to your cocktail hour, dinner party, or corporate function with fun, high-energy, and recognizable pop and R&B hits.

ABOUT CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS – SAN GABRIEL VALLEY
California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) is a public charter school that offers a dynamic school culture, enabling students to flourish as artists and scholars in a uniquely challenging and nurturing environment, celebrating creativity, individual growth, and opportunity. Recognized locally and nationally for exemplifying excellence in arts and academic education, the school provides bright and talented students with a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum and pre-professional arts conservatory training.
An expansion of the award-winning Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA, CSArts-SGV is the first regional campus to open in a network of public charter schools created by the California School of the Arts Foundation. CSArts-SGV opened in August 2017 and currently serves approximately 1,200 students in grades 7-12. The school is tuition free and donation dependent. It relies solely on private individual, foundation, and corporate donations to fund the arts conservatories offered.
