We host more than 600 successful events each year offering 100,000+ square feet of flexible and unique meeting space, as well as luxurious accommodations.

All programs can be customized to meet and exceed the needs of your group. Our staff works with you every step of the way ensuring you have a successful event.
CULINARY
CHILI COOK-OFF
Led by our expert chefs, teams will craft their best bowl of chili using premium ingredients and hands-on guidance. Outfitted with chef hats and aprons, participants will also pitch their chili to the judge. Entries will be rated on color, aroma, consistency, taste and sales pitch. Winners receive a bottle of Crystal Springs Resort private label wine.

CUPCAKE CHALLENGE
A crowd favorite! Each team receives 20 cupcakes, decorating tools + themed supplies to create a display that represents their team or company. With one hour to complete a masterpiece, cupcakes will be judged on teamwork, creativity and originality. Midway through, a surprise ingredient adds an extra twist to the challenge!

IRON CHEF COMPETITION
Guided by our expert chefs, teams’ will use fresh, high-quality ingredients to create an appetizer, entrée and side dish. Dishes will be judged on presentation, taste, creativity, name and teamwork. Winners receive a bottle of Crystal Springs Resort private label wine, followed by a delicious meal for all guests.

S’MORES
Enjoy the outdoors and each other’s company as you gather around the outdoor firepits and make some s’mores with graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallows.

FARMING WITH GPS
Teams will work together to navigate the resort using GPS units to collect ingredient cards, then learn knife skills and recipe tips from a chef before collaboratively preparing and presenting guacamole or pico de gallo for tasting and judging.

WINE + MIXOLOGY
BLIND WINE TASTING GAME
Test your knowledge of wine with an entertaining blind wine tasting lead. Guests will be broken up into groups and sample a white and a red wine. Participants will have 15 minutes to guess the continent, country, region, grape and the year of each wine.

THE WINE EDUCATOR
Wine Lovers! Don’t miss this informative and entertaining 2-hour wine education class, featuring wines from our worldfamous Wine Cellar. Taste six different wines while learning about top grape varietals, wine regions, styles of wine and the basics of pairing wines with food.

MIXOLOGY COMPETITION
Mix it up with a team mixology challenge! Using provided spirits and a secret ingredient, teams have 30 minutes to craft and name a signature cocktail. Stations are fully stocked, with shared ingredients at a central table. Creations will be judged on taste, creativity, originality and teamwork.

Go behind the scenes with the head distiller on a guided tour of our neighboring award-winning distillery. Learn about fermentation, aging and blending from grain to glass, followed by a tasting of our finest whiskeys, bourbons and vodkas. Guests receive 15% off all bottle purchases.

FROM BARREL TO BOTTLE EXPERIENCE
A one-of-a-kind opportunity for corporate teams to craft their own whiskey from grain to glass. The journey begins with a blind tasting to discover flavor preferences, followed by collaborative mash bill design and hands-on mash-making. After fermentation, the whiskey is barreled to age. Once matured, teams return for a private uncorking and bottling session to taste and take home their signature spirit — a memorable, long-term experience.

This powerful team-building activity fosters collaboration and gratitude as teams assemble 3D-printed prosthetic hands for those in need, complete with decorated storage pouches and personalized messages to uplift recipients around the world.

SOLAR RACEWAY
Teams will build and race solar-powered car kits, then donate both their assembled cars and brand-new kits for local youth to build themselves. It’s a fun, hands-on way to support education and give back.

Design, build and play in this creative challenge where teams construct mini golf holes using canned goods — then play through each other’s courses before donating all food to a local charity.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and is available at Minerals Hotel! Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping-pong and is ideal for any age and athletic ability. Group competitions or professional clinics are available.

WIFFLEBALL HOMERUN DERBY
Players battle it out to see who can rack up the most points by hitting home runs. Power-up and penalty targets throughout the field make for an exciting and often humorous competition! This is the perfect athletic challenge for groups with various abilities.

Tap into your team’s talents with this fast-paced, adult-style Field Day featuring fun, head-to-head challenges. Teams rotate through activities, earn points and compete for gold — and ultimate bragging rights!

Put your engineering and creative skills to the test as teams build a free-standing bridge representing the path to achieving their personal and team goals. Each team designs a section and in the end, participants walk across the completed bridge — symbolizing progress, teamwork and success.
PIPELINE
In this hands-on challenge, teams design and build a freestanding pipeline to deliver a ‘product’ using limited supplies. Surprise challenge cards introduce design twists along the way, testing each team’s creativity, adaptability and collaboration to complete the delivery.

Experience the power of music in a personal songwriting workshop led by Keith Burns, founding member of the award-winning group Trick Pony. Discover the beauty of our unique fresh-water 100 foot deep quarry at Grand Cascades Lodge. Stocked with trout, large-mouth bass, bluegill, chain pickerel, perch, rock bass and sunnys. Rods and bait provided. Our expert fishing instructors will teach you how to identify the various fish species.

Teams will partner with a local beekeeper to build bee boxes while learning fascinating facts about bees, honey production and their role in agriculture. Completed boxes are donated to a local farm to house a new bee colony.
FARM TOURS
Visit a local farm to meet cows, horses, goats, donkeys, ducks, geese and more. Learn from a local farmer about the animals and leave with the ultimate souvenir to memorialize your event . . . an unforgettable photo of your team with all their newfound farm friends. 1½ hours.
SUSTAINABLE FARM TOUR
Tour nearby Vernon Valley Farm, where young, modern farmers Kirk and Christina Stephens utilize nature’s synergies to run their fully sustainable farm. Guests will enjoy a hay wagon ride tour of the farm, interact with various farm animals + harvest fresh fruit or vegetables in season. Vernon Valley Farm is situated on 270 acres, with exquisite mountain and valley views. 1½ hours, including travel.
EDIBLE + MEDICINAL PLANT WALK OR SEMINAR
Join our Certified Herbalist + Naturalist on a guided hike to explore edible and medicinal plants found both regionally and in your own backyard. Learn tips for identification, harvesting and preparation. Available as an indoor seminar during the off-season.
GRAND CASCADES LODGE NATURE TRAIL
Explore The Nature Trail along the woods of Wild Turkey Golf Course. While on the 3.1 mile long trail, you will encounter beautiful views of the golf course and surrounding areas. Possible animal sightings include deer, squirrels, rabbits, red-winged black birds, ducks, hawks, black bear, great blue herons, owls, red fox and turtles.
HIKING WITH GOATS
Our goats feel safest with humans, considering people are a part of their herd. Hiking with them is a natural way to bond with both the goats and your peers, while enjoying the 3 mile Nature Trail on property at Grand Cascades Lodge. We’ll stop along the way to get priceless pics of your team with the goats!
MOUNTAIN HIKE {FROM MINERALS HOTEL}
Enjoy a moderate-intensity hike to the 1,500 ft. summit of Hamburg Mountain with a certified personal trainer and take in stunning views of Vernon Valley. Please dress appropriately and bring water. Weather permitting. Offsite hikes on the Appalachian Trail also available.
AXE THROWING
Bring your group out for popular axe throwing. This modern sport involves throwing an axe at a target attempting to hit the bullseye as close as possible. Get in the competitive spirit and have fun while participating in this outdoor activity.
GOLF DARTS OR FOOT DARTS
Choose between soccer and golf-themed fun with our giant Velcro dart board! Teams compete to score the most points using soccer balls or tennis balls and golf clubs. Perfect for outdoor events year-round {weather permitting}, it’s also a great addition to any casual dining experience.
LASER CLAY SHOOTING
This popular activity is suitable for first time and seasoned clay target shooters. Using a modified shotgun, participants fire an infrared beam at reflective clays. Real, deactivated guns are used with realistic sound effects that inform the shooter when the target has been hit.

TARGET SPORT ROUND ROBIN
Teams compete to score points at three of our most popular outdoor sport challenges. Choice of 3: axe throwing, laser clay shooting, archery, foot darts and golf darts.

Have an extra hour or two? Pick four lawn games and enjoy some relaxed group fun with options like Corn Hole, Connect 4, Yardzee, Lawn Bocce, Kanjam, Jenga, King Kubb and Ladder Ball.

Explore the night sky with Franklin Astronomy Club founder Zach Lichtmann. Use a high-powered telescope to view celestial targets and track orbiting satellites, with time for open Q+A. Clear skies required; indoor presentation available in case of inclement weather.

BEGINNERS CLINIC
The new players in golf can enjoy a 2 hour Beginners Clinic on the driving range with a Leadbetter Certified Instructor, who will cover the basics of golf with the group. Try the exciting new sport of FootGolf — where soccer meets golf! Played by kicking a soccer ball into oversized holes on a golf course, FootGolf follows golf-like rules and takes just two hours to complete 18 holes. Led by Leadbetter’s Director of New Player Development, the Get In The Game Clinic is a 2 hour clinic designed to teach beginner golfers the fundamentals of golf, course etiquette + behavior, how to accelerate the ability to conduct business on the course and advance their career with networking + selling tips.

Our Half-Day Schools are the cornerstone of Leadbetter Golf Academy instruction. Spend three focused hours with a Certified Instructor working on Full Swing or Short Game. ON-COURSE SWING ANALYSIS
A Leadbetter Certified Instructor will be set-up on a designated hole during an outing and video the participants. The Instructor will review and assess each player and then send a V1 video analysis via email to each participant.
