From Seward, we visit the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, where colossal ice chunks calve into the sea. We sail through Glacier Bay National Park to historic Sitka, Alaska’s original capital, then set a course for Icy Strait Point, a jumping-off point for some of the most exhilarating outdoor adventures in North America. Then it’s on to the historic town of Ketchikan before we enter Canadian waters, passing the pine-fringed islets of British Columbia and following the breathtaking Seymour Narrows down to Vancouver.

We hug the Pacific Coast of North America as we sail from Vancouver to Seward via Ketchikan. Travel up the Seymour Narrows on a course between mainland Canada and the Haida Gwaii archipelago, up to Alaska through landscapes of forested islands, great glaciers and dramatic fjords. Travel up through the glacial wilderness of the Inside Passage, dotted with pine-fringed islands and snowcapped peaks, to the fishing hub of Ketchikan. From here, we head north to Tracy Arm fjord, the Sawyer Glacier, and on to mountain-ringed Haines for outdoor pursuits aplenty. Icy Strait Point brings whale-watching opportunities if you haven’t yet spotted one, and then we arrive in Sitka, a charming old settlement that was Alaska’s original capital city. A sea day takes us back south to Victoria and then Vancouver.
