Pray that the boys would be kept safe whilst completing many fun activities on camp. Tuesday 2nd - Thank God for the funds raised from our recent Christmas Appeal to help more kids come on camp to hear about Jesus. Pray God uses these resources to bring many children into His family this year. Wednesday 3rd - Summit and St Luke’s Grammar School Year 6 are at Lake Mac. Pray for great weather and a positive camp experience. Pray that Jesus would be made known on this camp. Thursday 4th - Summit are running a camp for Tara Year 12 at Galston. Pray that God would help the leaders have many positive conversations with the students about His love for them. Friday 5th - Tara Year 11 are at Myuna Bay with Summit this week! Pray that quick relationships will be built between the leaders and campers. Pray that God’s spirit would be at work in the students’ hearts this week. Saturday 6th - Thank God for the recent Salvation Army “Glow” camp that was held at Lake Mac where seven campers made first-time commitments to give their lives to Jesus. Sunday 7th - Summit are at Shoalhaven with Connecting Carers this weekend. Pray that the Carers and kids on camp will experience God’s love as the Gospel is shared with them. Monday 8th - Pray for the new CRU Camp Ministry Interns that they would settle into their roles well and be keen to learn, grow and glorify God. February 2016
Tuesday 9th - Pray for Newington Years 5 and 6 who are at Galston with Summit. Pray that each and every camper feels included and learns more about Christ on camp. Wednesday 10th - Summit are at Lake Mac with Tara Anglican School for Girls Years 5 and 6. Pray that everyone will be energetic and excited to be on camp and that the message of Jesus will be boldly proclaimed! Thursday 11th - Northholm Grammar Year 7 are at Lake Mac with Summit. Pray that every camper would feel included and loved through all aspects of the camp program. Friday 12th - Summit are with St Philip’s Christian College Gosford Years 5–8 at Galston this week. Pray that activities run smoothly and the leaders are able to build relationships with campers and display God’s love through their words and actions. Saturday 13th - Pray that the good news about the newly installed teachers’ accommodation at Lake Mac will be heard throughout schools and that the new facility will be widely used. Sunday 14th - Pray that the Summit team will be welcoming to the new Summit Fellows. Pray that they will be united as a team in Christ and in building strong, Christ-centred relationships. Monday 15th - St Paul’s Grammar School Year 11 are at Lake Mac this week with the Summit leaders. Pray for safety and great friendships to be made as the students and leaders complete many fun activities. Tuesday 16th - Oxford Falls Grammar School Year 6 are with Summit in Canberra this week. Pray for safe travelling, and for time and opportunities for leaders and campers to talk about Jesus. Wednesday 17th - Pray that the Summit leaders on the William Clarke Year 5 camp at Lake Mac would be equipped to love and serve the campers this week. Thursday 18th - The Summit leaders are at Galston with William Carey Year 11. Pray that the leaders would facilitate their groups well as they take the students through many discussions on leadership, study skills and Jesus.

Friday 19th - Praise God for our Summer CRU Camps and the many volunteers that made them possible. Pray that God will continue to work in the campers and bring many to know Him. Saturday 20th - Give thanks for Eric De Beer and his many years of service on the Crusaders’ finance team and pray that God will continue to use his life as a powerful witness in retirement. Sunday 21st - Praise God for Libby* on William Clark last year, for her decision to ask Jesus into her heart! Pray that God is strengthening her faith day by day. Pray that she would be a witness to her family and for her to settle into a youth group and/or church.
Pray that Summit school campers will grow into life-long disciples of Christ. Monday 22nd - Summit are at Galston with Presbyterian Ladies College Year 11 this week. Pray that God would use discussion groups to make Himself known on this camp. Tuesday 23rd - Pray for churches and schools to know of the Galston Gorge Conference and Recreation Centre. Pray also that they would be led to book their camps at Galston. Wednesday 24th - William Clarke College Year 7 are at Mount Victoria with Summit. Pray that the program would run smoothly as there are a lot of campers! Thursday 25th - Summit and Loquat Valley Years 5 and 6 are at Lake Mac. Praise God for these kids and pray that they would all come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour! February 2016
Friday 26th - Summit is running Years 3 and 4 camp at Galston for Macarthur Anglican School. Praise God for the opportunity the leaders have to share about our great God with them. Pray that the campers would take in what is taught about God on this camp. Saturday 27th - Lift up the ACT InterCRU event yesterday at Canberra Grammar in prayer and ask that God will be working in the hearts of the students who attended as they reflect on what they heard from His Word. Sunday 28th - Pray for effectiveness and hearts that seek God’s will for Lake Mac Site Director, David Wood, and his wife, Margaret, as they serve God through Crusaders. Monday 29th - Medowie Christian School Year 7 are at Lake Mac with Summit. Praise God for this camp and pray for many opportunities for the Summit team to relate to and share with the campers.

Tuesday 1st - Pray that our 2015 study campers will join Uni Christian groups and that they will be welcomed, cared for, encouraged and grown in their journeys with Jesus. Wednesday 2nd - Praise God for a full calendar of bookings in the last year at the Galston Gorge Conference and Recreation Centre. Thank God for the many positive comments received about groups’ experiences. Thursday 3rd - St Luke’s Grammar School Year 5 are at Lake Mac. Praise God for the opportunity He has given us to share the Good News of Jesus to these students. Friday 4th - Pray for the new Financial Accountant, Karl Winter, as he settles into Crusaders, learns new systems and come up to speed on Crusaders’ operations. March 2016
Saturday 5th - Pray for the provision of a godly and passionate person to fill the Associate Director of Fundraising position. Thank God for Mary Tran who recently joined the team as Marketing Director. Sunday 6th - Thank God for the Inner West InterCRU that was on last Friday at Meriden School for Girls. Pray that God would use this event to help students in the Inner West stand firm in their faith and be bold witnesses to Jesus at their schools. Monday 7th - Scots College Year 3 are at Yarramundi with Summit. Pray for the leaders as they share their lives with the campers at a different site from what they are used to. Tuesday 8th - The Summit team and Scots College Year 4 are at Lake Mac. Pray that the boys will be open to hearing the message of the Gospel and that the leaders would present it faithfully. Wednesday 9th - Northern Beaches Christian School Year 5 are with the Summit team at Galston. Pray that the leaders would be clear in their presentation of the Gospel during the Christian Discovery sessions and discussion groups. Thursday 10th - Newington Years 3 and 4 are at Lake Mac with the Summit team. Pray that the leaders can be caring towards these young campers, showing them Christ’s love. Friday 11th - Praise God for the Eastern Suburbs InterCRU event this afternoon at Kambala and ask that the speakers will encourage all the students as they speak from the Bible. Saturday 12th - Thank God for enthusiastic primary school students being trained to run their school CRU Groups at our FIT events this coming week. Pray they will be excited to take what they learn and put it into practice. Sunday 13th - Summit are with St Philip’s Newcastle Year 3 at Lake Mac tomorrow. Pray that the campers will have a positive experience, hearing about Christ’s love and enjoying many activities. Monday 14th - Crusader Council meet tonight. Pray that the Council will provides sound strategic direction and oversight to all the work of Crusaders. Pray that God will help them to be prayerful and wise in their decisions. March 2016
Tuesday 15th - Pray for Summit and the Arden Anglican School Year 4 camp at Galston this week. Pray that campers will be open to hearing from God’s Word and excited to take on new challenges and activities. Praise God for the continuation of this camp! Wednesday 16th - Summit are with Arden Anglican School Year 6 at Lake Mac this week! Pray for safety on the water and during the many great activities they will complete. Thursday 17th - St Catherine’s Year 6 is at Galston with Summit this week. Praise God for this brand new camp!! Pray that the leaders would show Christ’s love to the teachers and students and that they would continue to book in camps in the years to come. Friday 18th - Crusaders’ annual Business Luncheon is being held today at NSW Parliament House. Pray for the Premier, Mike Baird, as he encourages supporters and ask that guests will give generously to support Crusaders’ ministry.
Pray that children will quickly build friendships with their peers and leaders on camps. Saturday 19th - Pray for the Summit Fellows who finished at the end of 2015. Praise God for the work He did through them at Summit. Pray that God will be continuing to use them for His glory in this next season of their lives. Pray that they would continue to stay close to God! Monday 21st - Pray for health and humility in the CRU Camps staff team. Pray that God would be growing them and directing them at home and work in line with His glorious will. Tuesday 22nd - Pray for the Barker College Years 3 and 4 camp at Galston this week. Pray that Summit leaders will be patient and loving towards these young campers, demonstrating God’s abundant care and love. Wednesday 23rd - St Philip’s Newcastle Year 4 are at Lake Mac with Summit. Pray for good weather and a positive attitude from leaders and campers. Thursday 24th - Summit leaders are with Barker K–2 at their school today. Praise God for the opportunity to go into this school to talk about Jesus! Pray for a fun and exciting day for the kids as they hear about the Good News! Friday 25th - “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed”, Isaiah 53:5. Praise God today as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Saturday 26th - Pray for the Lake Mac Staff especially Marty and Janine as they run the kitchen and provide the “ministry of food”. Sunday 27th - “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade”, 1 Peter 1:3–4. Thank God that Jesus has defeated death and given us a new living hope! Monday 28th - Pray for the many people who came to church over Easter. Pray that God spoke powerfully to them through His Word and His people. Tuesday 29th - Oxford Falls Grammar Schools Year 11 are with Summit at Galston. Pray that campers’ hearts would be open to hear from God’s Word and challenged by the talks and discussion groups.

Wednesday 30th - Roseville College Year 5 are at Galston with the Summit team. Pray for great conversations between the campers, leaders and teachers about Jesus. Thursday 31st - Give thanks for our wonderful volunteers who give generously of their time and resources to come to the office to help out with direct-mail campaigns, events, database updating and other tasks. Praise God for their willingness to help and for their encouragement to us. We are so grateful for your help!
APRIL 2016 Friday 1st - Summit are with Northern Beaches Christian School Year 3 at Winmalee this week. Pray that these young campers will have a fun and exciting time learning about God with the leaders. Praise God for the chance to share His love with such young campers! Saturday 2nd - Praise God for Peter*, a Barker student. He was baptised in the Barker pool. He said the most significant influence in his faith and growth has been his school CRU Group. Sunday 3rd - The Summit leaders are running Calrossy Anglican School Year 7 camp at Lake Mac. Pray that the leaders would show a lot of love to these girls and each other throughout camp. Monday 4th - Thank God for Crusaders’ faithful prayer supporters and ask that the CRU team will continue to be committed to prayer in everything they do. Tuesday 5th - Wycliffe Christian School Year 8 will be at Galston with Summit tomorrow. Pray that campers will be focused and eager to learn more about God during talks and discussion groups.

Pray that activities run smoothly and opportunities will be provided for the Summit leaders to chat to campers more personally about God. Thursday 7th - Pray for Covenant Christian School Year 7 who are at Lake Mac this week. Pray that the Summit leaders would have a lot of energy and love for the campers this week. Friday 8th - Belmont Christian College Year 8 are at Crosslands with Summit. Praise God for a hike that provides time for awesome chats between leaders and campers about Christ’s love! Saturday 9th - Pray for Kat Smith and her team as they prepare for Autumn Trails, which starts tomorrow. Pray for safety, good weather and fruitful discussions with the girls. Sunday 10th - Pray that the Destination QLD campers will see that life to the full is found only in Christ. Pray for safety on the long bus trips and at the theme parks. Monday 11th - Pray for wisdom as Emma Bennett directs and trains leaders on Pumped. Pray that the campers will hear and experience the love of God. Tuesday 12th - Pray for kindness and inclusiveness among the Destination QLD Junior campers. Pray also that God will help campers who are homesick settle into camp. Pray for responsive hearts to the Gospel. Wednesday 13th - Pray for God to work in the campers’ hearts and minds on Green Point Day Camp. Pray for Calum Henderson as he endeavours to build strong relationships between CRU Day Camps and schools. Thursday 14th - Pray for wisdom, patience and flexibility as Autumn Adventure Day Camp runs alongside Autumn Study 1. Pray that the campers will come to love Jesus. Friday 15th - Pray that the Spirit will open the eyes and soften the hearts of the campers on Autumn Study 1. Pray that the leaders will be genuine and gentle.

Saturday 16th - Thank God for the Recharge Day at Shore School that ran last Thursday. Thank Him that these CRU Group leaders were refreshed by Jesus as they shared fellowship and opened God’s Word. Ask God to continue to use them as salt and light in their school communities. Sunday 17th - Pray that the leaders on Autumn Study 2 will show care for the campers that springs from a deeper love for their souls. Pray for fruitful discussion groups and conversations. Monday 18th - Praise God for Elly* at Ravenswood, who spoke publicly at a Ravenswood prayer meeting about her joy in living for Jesus. She asks for prayer that she would stand firm for the Gospel, even if it will be against the tide.
Thank God for all of Crusaders’ supporters who pray, give and volunteer to enable the Gospel to be proclaimed to thousands of kids each year. Tuesday 19th - Pray for a tight camp community on Evacu8 to encourage Gospel conversations and positive memories. Pray for the leaders to have Christ-like love and an eternal focus even when they are tired. Wednesday 20th - Thank God that the All Saints Bathurst Senior CRU Group continues to grow. Pray that the CRU leaders will be able to use what they have learnt at CrossTrain. Thursday 21st - Praise God for the new Summit Fellows who have joined Summit this year! Pray that they will be growing in confidence and enthusiasm as they learn how camps are run. Pray that they will be relying on God for strength and energy as they adapt to a busy schedule. April 2016
Friday 22nd - Praise God for Don* from William Clarke who became a Christian after coming on a CRU Camp and, despite doubts through different seasons, has stuck with Jesus. Saturday 23rd - Give thanks for God’s never-ending provision, financially and physically, as the Administration and Finance team manages Crusaders’ financial affairs. Sunday 24th - Praise God for the opportunity to share the Word of God with campers on Summit Camps and pray that the Summit team are constantly reminded of this. Monday 25th - Pray for the many churches and youth groups who stay at Crusaders’ Lake Mac and Galston Gorge Centres for their camps. Ask that God will bless these times of fellowship and teaching. Tuesday 26th - Please continue to pray for the schools that do not have a lunchtime CRU Group. Pray that God would open the door for a group to start so that students can grow and encourage each other in their faith at school. Wednesday 27th - Praise God that Harry* has been on many CRU Camps and was curious about Jesus on SPLASH. Pray that he will continue to seek God and lean on Him when things at home get difficult. Thursday 28th - Thank God for the Schools Ministry team and please pray that God would sustain them and continue to work through them as they share the good news of Jesus with students. Friday 29th - Praise God for ten Year 7 students at Shellharbour Anglican who took up the offer of reading the Bible with the chaplain at recess once a week. Saturday 30th - Please pray for the mid-year Appeal as it goes out to supporters towards the end of the financial year. Ask that God would provide the funding needed to further our camping and school-based ministries and that supporters would be prayerful about Crusaders’ needs.

MAY 2016 Sunday 1st - Thank God for Christian teachers and for their service to their schools and students. Pray they can be an example for Christ in everything they do. Monday 2nd - Northern Beaches Christian School Vertical camp is happening this week. Pray that the leaders would be able to facilitate a great camp for multiple age groups and that a great camp culture is set. Tuesday 3rd - Summit leaders are at Attunga this week with William Clarke College Year 8. Praise God for the opportunity to run camp at this site. Pray that the talks and discussion groups would allow the campers to delve more deeply into God’s Word and be challenged by what they learn. Wednesday 4th - Praise God for the way the Gospel is going out in Northcross Christian School. Thank Him for the 48 students who regularly come to CRU. Thursday 5th - Thank God for the freedom that we have in Australia to meet in Jesus’ name and to speak openly of the Gospel in so many independent schools. Friday 6th - Praise God that Angus* was so interested in the Gospel on Frantik! Pray that he will be continuing to read his Bible and that God will capture his heart. Saturday 7th - Praise God that some non-Christian students from Blue Mountains Grammar Senior School are keen to meet up with their chaplain to discuss Christianity after the Bible talk on camp. Sunday 8th - Pray for unity for the Summit team, that they will continue to be one in Christ. Pray that they will constantly be building one another up, praying together and seeking God first as a team.

Monday 9th - Crusader Council provides strategic guidance and oversight to all of the work at Crusaders. As they meet today, pray that God will help them to be prayerful and wise in their decisions. Tuesday 10th - Pray for Erica* from Green Point who became a Christian on a Summit Camp last year! Praise God for how He worked to bring her to Him. Pray that she is continuing to walk with the Lord and that she would be surrounded by Christians to support her in her faith. Wednesday 11th - Summit are with Lakes Grammar Year 8 at Lake Mac. Praise God for the Lake Mac site and pray that activities, talks and discussion groups will run smoothly and be fruitful as campers get to know Summit leaders and learn more about Christ. Thursday 12th - Pray for perseverance for students in schools where it is difficult to be a Christian and pray that CRU Groups can be a good support and encouragement for them. Friday 13th - Pray for the CRU Teachers and Chaplains Day today at St Anne’s Ryde. Pray that many teachers and chaplains from Sydney and beyond will be excited to develop their skills and be spurred on to faithfully teach the Gospel at their schools. Saturday 14th - Pray that the team at the Galston Gorge Conference and Recreation Centre will work together well to complete the tasks and projects proposed for completion in the next six months. Sunday 15th - Thank God that so many students who came to know Jesus through Crusaders are now serving Him in many different ways all across the world. Pray that God will hold all of them close and continue to grow them in maturity in Christ. Monday 16th - St Paul’s Years 8 and 9 are at Galston with Summit. Praise God for the continuation of this camp and pray that these campers will continue to grow in their understanding of who Christ is and what He has done for them. Tuesday 17th - Kuyper Christian School Years 7 and 8 are at Lake Mac this week with Summit. Pray that the campers have a positive attitude, are keen to hear more about God and be transformed by the Gospel. May 2016
Wednesday 18th - The Summit leaders are at Galston with Northcross Christian School Years 3 and 4 this week. Pray that these campers will have a fun and exciting time on camp as they hear more about God! Thursday 19th - Pray for Sutherland Shire Christian School Year 10 at Galston with Summit. Pray that this camp runs smoothly and that campers are challenged and nurtured in their faith through discussion groups this week.
Pray that young people will seek answers to their questions and God will provide opportunities for great discussion. Friday 20th - Summit are with Northcross Christian School Years 5 and 6 at Lake Mac. Praise God for the chance to continue building relationships between leaders and campers from last year! Pray that these relationships can be used to show these kids God’s love for them! Saturday 21st - Pray for Wade* as he seriously considers the claims of Jesus that he heard on Last Chance Study G. Pray that his leaders will persevere in following him up and for the Spirit to fully convict and convince him. Sunday 22nd - Thank God for Wallace* who understood the Gospel, giving his life to Jesus and is now leading at the William Clarke CRU Group and being mentored by the school chaplain. Monday 23rd - Pray for the energy and enthusiasm of the Summit team and that they rely on God for strength and patience both on and off camp.

Tuesday 24th - Praise God for Cody* who was invited to his school CRU Group at Newington and to youth group by his friend Brad*. Cody’s* parents are atheists but have allowed him to attend. Cody* has indicated that he has become a Christian and loves attending his CRU Group each week and came to the final Inter-CRU event last year. Wednesday 25th - The Summit team have a week of outdoor training. Pray for safety, a great learning environment and a good bonding time for the team. Thursday 26th - Praise God for the ministry at Sutherland Shire Christian School. Thank God for an outreach event run by the High School CRU Group at lunchtime that was attended by 220 students. Praise Him also for Ethan* who shared his inspiring testimony at the event. Friday 27th - Pray for Steve Jones our IT Manager and for the great work he does as he continues to manage Crusaders’ Database and IT Systems. Saturday 28th - Praise God for our faithful and committed volunteers. Pray that they will be equipped and encouraged to serve at the Volunteer Training Day today. Sunday 29th - Pray that the Summit team prioritises God in their personal lives, making time for quality Bible reading, quiet time and prayer. Pray that this time is fruitful and they are constantly learning and growing in the Lord. Monday 30th - Praise God for Daryl* from Covenant Christian School who recommitted his life to Christ last year! Pray that God has been growing and strengthening Daryl* in his faith. Tuesday 31st - Pray that God would raise up leaders, directors, speakers, cooks, mechanics, drivers and camp parents to volunteer with CRU.
