September to February

SEPTEMBER

Saturday 1 September - Please pray as CRU® West endeavours to start Friday afternoon inter-school CRU fellowship sessions in WA. These will ideally be twice a year, where students can meet others from schools around Perth, encourage one another, receive some training and some Bible teaching.

Sunday 2 September - Pray for the Finance Team and particularly Karl Winter as he plays a pivotal role in finalising the year’s results during September.

Monday 3 September - Please pray for the Crusader Council as they meet tonight, especially Chairman Tim Wright and Deputy Chair Helen Burgess.

Tuesday 4 September - Oxford Falls Grammar School Year 3 students will be joining the Summit Team for their school camp for the first time. Pray for the students, that they will have an enjoyable experience and won’t experience any homesickness, and that the leaders will provide a welcoming and friendly environment.

Wednesday 5 September - Oxford Falls Grammar School Year 4 camp is at Galston with the Summit Team. Please pray that the students will learn more about themselves through what they experience during camp.

Thursday 6 September - Praise God for the Summit Team as they run camp for St Philip’s Christian School Gosford Year 3 and 4 at Galston. Please pray for the students, that throughout camp, they may be able to form new and better friendships with others in their year group.

Friday 7 September - Please pray for the students on Trinity Christian School Year 4 camp with the Summit Team. Pray that throughout camp they may be able to develop various skills that can be kept with them for life.

Saturday 8 September - Pray for the CRU® Holiday Camps Team as they continue to prepare for the spring season.

Pray that many kids would register for camp.

Sunday 9 September - The Crusader Women’s Fellowship will be meeting tomorrow to pray for the work of CRU®.

Praise God for these faithful supporters who give up their time to pray for specific needs at CRU. Monday 10 September - This week is a Week of Prayer for Schools Ministry. Pray that chaplains, teachers and students will be encouraged to pray regularly throughout the week for their schools and communities. Pray for the Schools Ministry Team as they host the Night of Prayer, and that many supporters will be willing to come.

Tuesday 11 September - Trinity Grammar Junior School Year 3 and 4 are at Galston for their school camp with Summit. Please pray that during camp, they will learn things that they are able to apply to their lives both at home and at school.

Wednesday 12 September - Please pray for Oxford Falls Grammar School Year 5 as they come on camp with the Summit Team. Pray that it will be an enjoyable experience for the campers.

Thursday 13 September - Dubbo Christian School Year 5 and 6 are at Lake Mac for their school camp with the Summit Team. Please pray for the students, that they will be able to see and appreciate God’s wonderful creation as they spend time on the lake.

Friday 14 September - Rouse Hill Anglican School Year 4 is at Galston for their school camp with Summit. Please pray that during camp, the kids will understand the gospel clearly.

Saturday 15 September - Pray for VOLT Spring. Pray that lots of volunteer camp leaders will come along to be trained and receive really practical information about leading on camp that will help them share Jesus and connect with campers.

Sunday 16 September - Thank God for the beautiful Galston campsite and pray that all those who visit will be able to spend time reflecting on the wonder of God’s creation.

Monday 17 September - Praise God for the opportunity the Summit Team has to run Rouse Hill Anglican School Year 3 day camp this week. Pray for good weather throughout the day as the team runs various outdoor activities.

Tuesday 18 September - Praise God for the opportunity the Summit Team has to hand out Bible resources to students on camp. Please pray that more students will continue to show an interest in wanting to develop their relationship with God. Wednesday 19 September - About 200 young professionals are at the Crusader Business Breakfast this morning. Pray that God would be encouraging the young men and women who attend and ask that they would give sacrificially to help reach more Aussie kids for Christ.

Thursday 20 September - Mosman Preparatory School Year 3 are at Lake Mac for their school camp with Summit. Please pray for these young boys, that during camp they may be able to go outside their comfort zones and grow in their confidence and understanding of God. Friday 21 September - Pacific Hills Christian School Year 3 are at Galston this week with the Summit Team. Please pray for safety as they participate in many activities over the few days. Trinity Grammar Prep Year 3 are also at Galston for camp. Pray for great relationships to form between the leaders and students.

Saturday 22 September - Praise God for His provision of a generous donor who is funding the salary of our new CRU® West Ministry Assistant one day a week. Thank God that Hannah Killow has come into this role, and pray that she and our CRU West Staff Worker, Sheridan Raston, will have God’s wisdom as they serve together.

Sunday 23 September - Uphold Anna Burke (née Wood) and Damien Wang in prayer as they seek to raise major funds for the redevelopment of the Lake Mac campsite. Ask that God would use these funds to expand the campsite capacity, so that many more young people will be able to come and be challenged by the claims of Christ.

Monday 24 September - Pray for the spring CRU® Camps season and the 14 camps running, including six study camps, four activity camps, two day camps and two Christian leadership camps. Pray God’s word will go out onto these camps and have a great impact on the campers.

Tuesday 25 September - Pray for the campers coming on camp from international backgrounds, including many Korean and French children in particular. Pray they will feel welcome on camp and that language barriers won’t impact their experience of camp. Give thanks Jesus is going out to people in these communities through their children coming on camp.

Wednesday 26 September - Praise God for the opportunity to run Summit Educational Camps with St Mark’s Coptic Orthodox College this week. Year 8 is at Galston and Year 10 is at Lake Mac. Please pray that the students will feel welcomed and comfortable on camp and as a result, they may be able to share and grow in their faith.

Thursday 27 September - St Luke’s Grammar School Year 4 are joining the Summit Team for their school camp. Please pray that the kids will learn from their camp experience and in particular that discussion groups will be a great time of growth, challenge and encouragement.

Friday 28 September - Please pray for the running of Trinity Christian School Year 5 camp with the Summit Team. Pray that throughout camp, the leaders will display Christ in all their actions and words.

Saturday 29 September - Pray for Mark Baines as he steps up to direct and lead the team as they look after the primary school kids on Splash at Lake Mac. Give thanks for the lake to use for lots of activities.

Sunday 30 September - Pray for Renee Smith and Callum Morris and the rest of the team as they serve on Last Chance Study A. Pray the students will have a great week preparing for their final exams and be challenged about their world view and what they think about the Christian faith.

OCTOBER

Monday 1 October - Spring Leadership Camp is on this week in Perth. This is the second time this camp has run so please pray that God would continue the work He began in the lives of those campers returning again, and that the kids on camp for the first time would be convicted to be clear Christian witnesses in their schools.

Tuesday 2 October - Pray for James and Bec Taylor and the team leading Last Chance Study B. Pray for great community and conversations to put life into perspective, that they can think about things that matter for eternity as well as in this life.

Wednesday 3 October - Praise God for the culture Brightwaters camps have and that kids are so keen to come to this camp in spring and summer, for waterskiing and to find a wonderful Christian community full of life, fun and care for each other.

Thursday 4 October - Pray for Frantik which attracts a wide variety of campers from all different backgrounds. Pray that when they come to camp, they are treated as equals and valuable in God’s eyes and in the eyes of the leaders.

Friday 5 October - Praise God for CRUÂŽ Craze Day Camp and that this camp is back on again in partnership with Arden Anglican School. Give thanks for the student leaders on the camp and pray that they can be trained up now for a lifetime of servant leadership.

Saturday 6 October - Please pray for the Summit Team, that they will live prayerful and godly lives, as they seek to mature in their faith in order to bring glory to God. Sunday 7 October - Pray for Ellen and Will as they lead the team on Last Chance Study C. Give thanks for their care for the leadership team and the students on camp. Pray for the tutors coming along to help at different seminars and pray that this will be of great benefit to the students as they do their last preparations for their exams.

Monday 8 October - Pray for the students attending CrossTrain this week, that they will settle into camp quickly, be inspired by the Bible teaching, and equipped to do good work for the sake of the gospel in their CRU® Groups and schools. Pray for the Schools Ministry Team as they minister to the students on this camp.

Tuesday 9 October - Pray for Cathy Dell and the great team of leaders at Galston this week as they help students on Last Chance Study D to study well and also think about life after school.

Wednesday 10 October - Pray for the team on Last Chance Study E, that they will help students prepare for their HSC and also answer some bigger questions students might have about God and life.

Thursday 11 October - Praise God for the students He has brought along to Last Chance Study F. Pray that it will be a great chance for them to hear about Jesus and that the week of study will set them up to be in a great place ready for their final school exams.

Friday 12 October - Give thanks for Mac Time and the great fun Brooke Linton and the team have in store for the campers in Christian Discovery time, during activities and on their excursion day.

Saturday 13 October - Praise God for the capacity at Galston to run Spring into Action Day Camp alongside other camps. Pray for the activities the campers will get to enjoy and the lessons they learn about God and creation.

Praise God for the ministry of Day Camps and the way this introduces kids to CRU® Camps.

Sunday 14 October - Pray for the website and IT connecting CRU® Camps to the public. Give thanks that this allows the Holiday Camps Team to book more kids on camps than ever before.

Monday 15 October - Pray for a young girl on camp in the Autumn holidays who at the start of camp was apathetic towards to the gospel. After hearing the good news about Jesus explained in a way she hadn’t heard before, she wanted a Bible and wanted to know so much more about God! Pray for the spiritual growth of all the campers.

Tuesday 16 October - Pray for the Summit Team as they run a camp for Our Lady of the Rosary at Galston. Pray that the Year 5 campers will enjoy camp and feel equipped as they learn more about leadership, and for faithful Christian teaching.

Wednesday 17 October - Praise God for the opportunity Summit has to partner with Greenacre Baptist Christian Community School Year 3/4 again this year. Please pray for discussion groups, that the Summit Team will be filled with God’s wisdom and guidance and that the students will grow in their faith.

Thursday 18 October - St Peter’s Anglican Primary School Year 4 are on camp at Lake Mac this week with the Summit Team. Please pray for the students throughout camp, that they may experience so much through the program and that they learn more about themselves and God. Friday 19 October - Give thanks for the senior CRU® Group leaders at Arden, many of whom are also prefects in their school. Praise God for their courage in publicly sharing their faith, their joy in serving their school, encouraging their friends to know Jesus better and inviting them along to the CRU Group.

Saturday 20 October - Thank God for Schools Ministry’s 2020 Vision, which aims to reach over 130,000 school students and support over 235 schools throughout NSW, the ACT and WA. Sunday 21 October - Pray for our auditors as they help us keep strong controls on the finances and running of the business. Pray that God would give them wisdom and insight to understand CRU® and help identify areas of risk.

Monday 22 October - Give thanks for the student-led CRU® Group at Shire Christian School, which gets over 80 high school students coming along each week. Pray that they would successfully equip and train their new leaders for 2019.

Tuesday 23 October - Praise God for the growing ministry of CRU® in reaching the next generation with the good news of Jesus. Pray that as an organisation, we will continue to glorify God with faith and trust.

Wednesday 24 October - Please pray for the running of Rouse Hill Anglican College Year 5 camp with the Summit Team at Lake Mac. Pray that throughout camp, the leaders will display Christ in all their actions and words on camp.

Thursday 25 October - Danebank’s Father & Daughter camp is happening at Galston. Please pray for these Year 3-6 girls and their fathers, that it is a great time of bonding for each family and the message of Jesus is preached clearly to all.

Friday 26 October - CRU®’s annual Wills Days will be happening today and tomorrow, where supporters will have the opportunity to have their Wills updated or written for free. Give thanks that CRU can provide this service and pray that many will take up the offer. Give thanks for those who prayerfully decide to leave a gift in their Wills to support CRU in the long term.

Saturday 27 October - Please pray for many strong applicants to apply for the Summit Fellowship program for our January intake.

Sunday 28 October - Please pray for the Divisional Heads as they prepare to meet on 2 November. Give thanks for the love they have for CRU®, and the way they use their gifts to serve Jesus in their roles. Pray that Gary might lead this team of people to work well together, depending on the strength and wisdom God provides.

Monday 29 October - St Catherine’s School Year 11 are with the Summit Team this week for their retreat. Pray that the students will feel refreshed and strengthened. Pray also that the students will learn and appreciate more about the God who created everything.

Tuesday 30 October - Please pray for the running of the Barker College Year 5 leadership camp. Pray that the Summit Team will run a great educational experience as they teach and do many activity sessions to help with their leadership.

Wednesday 31 October - Please pray for the Summit Team as they run a school camp for Meriden Anglican School Year 3 and 4 at Galston. Praise God for this amazing opportunity to share the gospel with these young girls.

NOVEMBER Thursday 1 November - Praise God for the opportunity to run a Meriden Year 2 day camp. Please pray for a smoothrunning day and that the Summit Team will work well with the teachers. Pray that the leaders can show God’s love to these young girls.

Friday 2 November - Meriden Anglican School Year 5 and Year 6 are on camp with the Summit Team. Please pray that the kids will learn from their camp experience and in particular that discussion groups will be a great time of growth, challenge and encouragement.

Saturday 3 November - Praise God for those who gave generously to the 2018 Tax Appeal, providing solar panels for the Galston campsite, to significantly reduce our power bills so that our energy is directed into what really matters – telling kids about Jesus.

Sunday 4 November - Praise God for the amazing crew on site at Lake Mac, who have taken on all challenges and worked as a cohesive team under God. Monday 5 November - Please pray for St Paul’s Grammar School Year 5 at Lake Mac this week. Pray for the students that they will have a great camp experience and for the Summit camp director to lead the team well.

Tuesday 6 November - MLC School Year 3 and 4 are at Galston this week with the Summit Team. Please pray for safety as they participate in many activities over the few days.

Wednesday 7 November - The Summit Team are running a camp for Claremont College Year 4 at Galston. Please pray that throughout camp, the leaders will form great relationships with the students and be able to share their lives with them.

Thursday 8 November - Claremont College Year 5 and 6 have their Summit school camps this week. Please pray that there will be great weather on camp and that all will see and experience God’s goodness.

Friday 9 November - Claremont College Year 3 students will be joining the Summit Team for their school camp for the first time. Pray for the students that they will have an enjoyable experience and won’t experience any homesickness. Pray also that lots of students will attend today’s Mega-CRU® at Shore School. Pray for Ben Staunton as he preaches God’s Word, that he will speak a message that inspires hope, strength, love and boldness in God. Saturday 10 November - Pray for the new HR role, that God will provide the right person to join the team as an additional support. Pray they settle into the role quickly and that they, along with the rest of the Admin Team, provide servant-hearted support and leadership to CRU®.

Sunday 11 November - Pray that God would raise up a multitude of qualified, passionate, gospel-minded teachers in all Perth schools. Pray that these teachers would be courageous, and that they would faithfully mentor Christian students in their schools.

Monday 12 November - Give thanks for the Bible study group for international students that was started this year at The Illawarra Grammar School. Pray that the students will receive a clear understanding of the Bible and that they will put their faith in Jesus.

Tuesday 13 November - Burgmann Anglican School Year 7 are at Lake Mac for their school camp with Summit. Please pray for good weather as they sail on the lake.

Wednesday 14 November - Green Point Christian College Year 9 are with the Summit Team this week for their school camp. Please pray that during the various activities, the leaders will be able to have good and godly conversations, especially during bush walking.

Thursday 15 November - Please pray for the running of the Burgmann Anglican School Year 6 camp this week. Pray for the Summit Team, that they will work together in great unity and run a smooth camp.

Friday 16 November - New Hope School is coming to Galston with their students in Year 3 to 12. Praise God for this opportunity to run this camp for the first time.

Please pray for the Summit leaders as they care for these students with special needs.

Saturday 17 November - Praise God for the provision of the wonderful new indoor high ropes course at Galston.

Pray for enjoyment, safety and gospel opportunities as thousands of kids begin to use it.

Sunday 18 November - Pray for students finishing their HSC and that they make good choices while they celebrate.

Give thanks we can run Schoolies with Scripture Union and provide a safe, fun celebration option for these students.

Monday 19 November - Please pray for St Paul’s Grammar School Year 3 at Galston this week. Pray for the students that they will leave camp knowing more about our great God. Tuesday 20 November - Please pray for Burgmann Anglican School as they come on their Year 8 school camp with Summit. Please pray for safety for the students and staff as they hike from the Galston campsite to Crosslands Reserve, and for the logistics of camp to go smoothly.

Wednesday 21 November - Praise God for the opportunity to run a Summit Camp with Lakes Grammar Year 4 for the first time. Please pray for the running of this new camp, that the program will go smoothly and the Summit leaders can work well with the teachers.

Thursday 22 November - Arndell Anglican College Year 5 and 6 are heading to Canberra with the Summit Team.

Please pray that it is a great time of learning for the students as they attend various tours and many different places across Canberra.

Friday 23 November - The students in Year 10 at Green Point Christian College are joining the Summit Team for a City Adventure camp. Please pray for a smooth running of such a big logistical camp.

Saturday 24 November - Thank God for the group bookings He continues to bring to Galston. Pray that the marketing is successful, the site attractive and the experience wonderful for all those who book the site.

Sunday 25 November - Please pray for wisdom and guidance for the Crusader Council as they meet tomorrow night.

Monday 26 November - Praise God for the opportunity to run a Summit Camp with St Spyridon College Year 4 at Galston. Please pray that the leaders and teachers will be united and work well together throughout camp.

Tuesday 27 November - St Spyridon College Year 3 camp is on at Galston this week. Please pray that these kids will have an enjoyable camp experience and understand the grace that God has freely given us through Jesus.

Wednesday 28 November - Praise God for the opportunity to have Shellharbour Anglican College Year 8 come on a Summit Camp for the first time at Galston. Please pray that Summit can start a great partnership with this new school.

Thursday 29 November - Praise God for Galston Public School Year 3 and 4 who are joining the Summit Team for their school camp at Galston. Please pray that the students will leave camp with new friends and a greater understanding of who God is.

Friday 30 November - Give thanks for the godly men and women who serve on the Crusader Council. Give thanks for the different skills and abilities each has, and the way they use these gifts to serve CRUŽ. Pray that they will continue to lead CRU well and make wise decisions, so that CRU’s ministries might continue to glorify God.

DECEMBER

Saturday 1 December - Give thanks for our Operational Fundraising Team, Roslyn Harvey, Linda Newman, Philippa McCredie and Matilda Slade, as they seek to serve God by raising funds to resource CRU®’s ongoing operational needs.

Please pray for God’s wisdom and leading as they strive to meet fundraising budget targets in the coming year.

Sunday 2 December - Pray for the Inter-CRU®’s that CRU West has started running in the past year. Pray that the momentum for these events will build as many come from many different schools, and that those who come will be encouraged by the fellowship and will grow in their faith as a result.

Monday 3 December - Shore Preparatory School Year 6 is coming on camp at Galston. Please pray for the Summit leaders that they can demonstrate God’s love to these young boys and reflect Jesus in their actions.

Tuesday 4 December - Please pray for the running of the Shore Preparatory School Year 5 camp happening at Lake Mac. Please pray for safety for all the water activities and that the boys will have a great camp experience.

Wednesday 5 December - Please pray for William Clarke College Year 10 camp happening at Galston this week.

Please pray for the students as they learn leadership and study skills. Pray also for the Summit leaders that they will finish strong on their last Summit Camp of the year.

Thursday 6 December - Give thanks for the thriving CRU® Groups in both the junior and senior school at St Andrew’s Cathedral School. Give thanks for Emma Newling who coordinates the junior school groups and for the chaplaincy team coordinating the groups in the middle and senior schools. Pray for the many students who attend these groups seeking to understand more about Jesus.

Friday 7 December - Radford College has a small CRU® Group, but committed and faithful student leaders who want to see the gospel known in the school. Pray that God would give them strength and encouragement to do this.

Saturday 8 December - Pray that people will be generous in partnering with CRU® for the Christmas Appeal.

Sunday 9 December - Thousands of people visiting our sites each year have special diet meals served to them. Pray for those involved in the Catering Teams that they continue to be diligent in their service to those with special diets.

Monday 10 December - Pray for the boys on Treasure Island as they get muddy and rough on this exciting camp.

Pray for good connections with the leaders and that they would be good role models to these young guys.

Tuesday 11 December - Give thanks for the girls on Christmas Capers as they get crafty and creative. Praise God for imagination and fun and the great bond these girls will form on camp.

Wednesday 12 December - Pray for the boys on Game Zone as they enjoy indoor and outdoor adventures at Galston. Pray for Zane and the team as they lead the boys and teach them about Jesus.

Thursday 13 December - Pray for CRU® Burst at Arndell Anglican College and that this camp will be a great asset to the community and be a great holiday option for lots of families.

Friday 14 December - Praise God for Sail Mania at Lake Mac and for the high school kids that come along year after year and bring their friends. Give thanks for increasing gospel opportunities on this growing camp.

Saturday 15 December - Praise God for Rob and Nina Corbett and the team as they return for the second year of CRU® Surf.

Pray that this camp will grow and develop into an even more amazing camp with a positive Christian surf culture.

Sunday 16 December - Pray for the team on Survivor Jnr as they do heaps of fun activities with the kids and also get to share Jesus with them this week on camp.

Monday 17 December - Give thanks for the creative team leading Survivor Snr and the great theme prepared for the campers throughout the week. Pray this gives great opportunities for the team to share Jesus with the campers in fun and engaging ways.

Tuesday 18 December - Pray for the Waves and Wind camp as they head out on the water for the week, sailing around Lake Mac. Pray for all the great opportunities leaders will have on the water to have conversations about God and His creation.

Wednesday 19 December - Praise God for Christmas Adventure Day Camp at Galston and for the young kids who will come along and enjoy lots of great activities and hear about Jesus.

Thursday 20 December - Pray for Dave Ramsay and Josh Grey as they take a holiday break from running the senior school group at Northern Beaches Christian School, Beaches CRU. Give thanks that the kids who attended in 2018 really love the group and came consistently. Give thanks that Dave and Josh are both involved with CRU® Camps outside of their school.

Friday 21 December - Please pray that the boys who attended the CRU® Groups across the three Newington College campuses will grow in their faith. Pray for David Mulford as he finishes up as Headmaster this year and pray for Michael Parker as he prepares to commence as Headmaster in 2019.

Saturday 22 December - Please pray for Gary Hill as he leads CRU® in this time of growth and change with the redevelopment of Lake Mac. Please pray particularly that Gary will lead CRU® to manage the changes well. Pray that God will grant Gary and all other staff patience and grace as they adjust to these changes.

Sunday 23 December - Praise God for the chaplains appointed recently to various Perth schools. Please pray that these men and women would be faithful as they proclaim the gospel, and that CRU® West would build healthy, long-term relationships with each of these people.

Monday 24 December - Please pray for the Summit Fellows that are finishing up in December. Praise God for the work that He has done so far in and through them.

Pray that they will finish off well and that God will continue to use them and grow them outside of CRUÂŽ.

Tuesday 25 December - Thank God for the wonderful gift of His son, sent to die for us. Pray that as the CRUÂŽ staff celebrate Christmas with their churches and families, they would be a great witness for the gospel.

Wednesday 26 December - Pray for the staff who are on holidays over Christmas and New Year, that God would grant them good rest and refreshment.

Thursday 27 December - With the example of Jesus in mind, pray that the Galston Team serve each other and their guests well, with an attitude of love and care. Pray that this might bring glory to God. Friday 28 December - Pray that Dave Wood and the Lake Mac Team will have good relationships with neighbours and other stakeholders in and around the community.

Saturday 29 December - Praise God for a great year in Summit and for the opportunities to have impacted around 9,000 students on Summit camps this year.

Sunday 30 December - Praise God for Ruth, in Year 7. On her school camp with Summit, she was really engaged during discussion groups and on the final day decided to commit her life to Christ. Please pray that she will continue to learn more about God and grow in her faith.

Monday 31 December - Thank God for another wonderful year of proclaiming Jesus Christ to kids and teenagers across Australia!

JANUARY Tuesday 1 January - Pray that God would continue to bless and grow CRU®’s ministries in schools and on camps in 2019.

Wednesday 2 January - Give thanks for the dirt bike community and the leaders on On Two Wheels and the way they serve God on these camps. Pray for safety on the tracks and great camp community that will give the campers an amazing start to 2019.

Thursday 3 January - Pray for preparation for the upcoming Annual General Meeting, that appropriate materials are provided in order for wise decisions to be made by both the Council and the members.

Friday 4 January - Please pray that as families consider the year ahead, they will commit to partnering with CRU® through their finances, so that more young people can hear the good news of Jesus on CRU Camps, Summit Camps or in school CRU Groups.

Saturday 5 January - Praise God for the skills in various outdoor activities and facilitation skills the Summit Fellows are able to achieve through their traineeship. Please pray that they will continue to grow in these skills which would benefit them both at CRU® and wherever they go.

Sunday 6 January - Praise God for Escape as the high school campers hear about the Bible and do messy games and check out Wet‘n’Wild.

Monday 7 January - Give thanks for the dedication of the Sailing Adventure team led by Nate and Maddie. Praise God for the boats they can use for fun and for enjoying His glorious creation.

Tuesday 8 January - Pray for Andrew and the Aussie Adventure team as they head to the bush and explore Attunga, ride horses, canoe in the dam and enjoy God’s creation.

Wednesday 9 January - Pray for the summer Dirtbike camp and the young campers who come along. Pray this would be a great opportunity for the kids to learn to ride and hear the gospel.

Thursday 10 January - Pray for the Summer Games Day Camp at William Clarke College. Give thanks that we can partner with the school and run a great Day Camp for the community.

Friday 11 January - Pray for Tiana and the team as they look after the Year 3-6 campers on Extreme Games.

Pray for an amazing camp as they run lots of activities at Galston.

Saturday 12 January - Praise God for Grace and Damien as they lead CRUÂŽ Hype. Give thanks for their creativity in theming this camp each year, coming up with amazing activities the campers love and keep coming back for.

Praise God that this leads to amazing gospel opportunities.

Sunday 13 January - Pray for Getaway and for the campers coming along this week. Pray for first-time campers, that this will be an amazing experience for them where they will get to try lots of new activities.

Monday 14 January - Pray for Summer Study 1 as the students begin their HSC and IB preparations. Pray the leaders can be supportive and equip the students to be resilient and focused for the big year ahead.

Tuesday 15 January - Pray for Dave and the After the Mast team as they sail Lake Mac and have lots of adventures. Give thanks for the experience of the team and the way they train up new leaders and run excellent camps each year.

Wednesday 16 January - Praise God for Stu and the Brightwaters team, and their dedication to serve God through camp. Give thanks for the boats that enable this awesome camp to run so well, and for the provision of great equipment and facilities.

Thursday 17 January - Praise God for CRU® Tech and for the skills the leaders have in all areas of tech and their willingness to share this and their love for God with the campers.

Friday 18 January - Pray for CRU® Break Day Camp continuing at Shellharbour Anglican College. Give thanks for the connection CRU has with the churches and school at Shellharbour. Pray this will help even more kids hear the good news of Jesus.

Saturday 19 January - Pray for Summer Spectacular Day Camp at Mamre Anglican School. Give thanks for the partnership we have with the school and that we can provide a great holiday option for the community, where the campers can learn something new and have lots of fun.

Sunday 20 January - As the Summit and Guest Group Bookings Teams work closely together, pray for opportunities to grow and develop gospel opportunities at the Galston site.

Monday 21 January - Pray for Triple S as it moves to Galston. Pray that lots of campers will come along and hear the gospel.

Tuesday 22 January - Praise God for Aqua as they sail and water-ski at Lake Mac. Pray for a great camp community and great conversations.

Wednesday 23 January - Give thanks for Beach Blitz and for the fun the campers will have at Manly. Pray for great weather and safety in the water and many opportunities to share the gospel with them.

Thursday 24 January - Pray for the students on Summer Study 2. Pray they will get a good perspective for the year ahead and get organised. Pray the camp leaders can help them with this and build great relationships during the week.

Friday 25 January - Pray for the girls on Mountain Muster this week. Pray for safety for the long drive to and from camp, and for a great week of sisterhood and horse-riding.

Saturday 26 January - Praise God for lives changed through CRU® Camps. Thank God for kids like Travis, who shared: “I heard a talk about the reckless love of God and how much Jesus sacrificed, and how he desires a relationship with me. It was a big transformative moment in my life when I understood how much God loves me.”

Sunday 27 January - Praise God for the new Summit Fellows that have just started with the team. Please pray for them as they go through January training, that they will be able to gain and remember all the knowledge and skills for the job and be able to apply them on Summit camps coming up in February.

Monday 28 January - Thank God for another excellent summer season and pray that as the campers head back to school, they would feel refreshed and remember what they learned about Jesus on camp.

Tuesday 29 January - Praise God for Abbotsleigh Year 12 camp at Galston this week. This is Summit’s first camp of the year. Pray things will go smoothly and that the gospel is proclaimed.

Wednesday 30 January - The Summit Team is running a day camp for Oxford Falls Grammar Year 5 today. Pray that the leaders will form good relationships with the students quickly during their short time together.

Thursday 31 January - Pray that God would lay it on the hearts of CRUÂŽ supporters to consider the legacy they could leave with a gift in their will to CRU.

FEBRUARY Friday 1 February - Pray for Jessica Graieg-Morrison and Bree Stedman as they settle into their ministry roles at William Clarke College and for the senior chaplain Colin Noble. Pray for Anna Owen as she regularly visits the many lunchtime groups at the school.

Saturday 2 February - Praise God for Laura, in Year 7, who on a Summit camp said that discussion groups were her favourite part of camp! She learnt so much over the few days and at the end of camp asked for a Bible and a devotional book to read and continue to learn herself after camp.

Sunday 3 February - As the school year gets into full swing, pray that God would be strengthening and equipping the CRU® Schools Ministry team for their visits, talks and meetings with students, teachers and chaplains.

Monday 4 February - Medowie Christian School Year 7 are having their school camp at Lake Mac this week with Summit. Please pray that great godly conversations will happen even outside of the Christian Discovery time, as they enjoy fun activities together.

Tuesday 5 February - Praise God for the Marketing Team, who work so diligently to promote Summit, CRU® Camps and Schools Ministry. Pray that God would give them creativity and that the materials they produce would reach all the right people.

Wednesday 6 February - Please pray for the running of the Newington College Preparatory School Year 3 and 4 camp at Galston. Pray for the talks throughout camp, that they will be delivered clearly and that the boys will listen and understand the message.

Thursday 7 February - St Luke’s Grammar School are having their Year 6 camp at Lake Mac. Please pray for the Summit Team, that they will facilitate their discussion groups well and that they will rely on wisdom and guidance completely from God. Friday 8 February - Praise God for the opportunity to run a camp for Ravenswood Year 4 for the first time, happening at Galston. Please pray that the leaders will form new relationships quickly with the students and teachers. Pray also that the Summit Team will serve the camp faithfully.
