October to February
Thursday 5th October - Praise God for the campers on Mac Time this week at Lake Macquarie. Pray that their hearts would be open to hearing about Jesus and they will have lots of fun on the lake and in all the other activities.
OCTOBER
Sunday 1st October - Pray for our 2017 study campers as they attend their final camps and finish up their HSC and IB. Pray for those that have been to church since camp, that they would find great community and clear Bible teaching. Pray for the camp directors Cathy Dell, Ross Ireland and Ali Winter, and their teams as they lead their respective study camps. Pray the seeds previously planted will be watered and great fruit will become evident as many choose to give their hearts to God. Monday 2nd October - Perth Leadership Camp starts today. Pray for this brand new camp and the exciting new opportunities God is creating in Perth. Pray for Jordan Thyer as he encourages these young leaders to know Jesus and make Him known. Please pray that God will use this camp to grow and develop future student leaders in their ministry skills and their Christian character, and He will use this camp for His good for many years to come.
Friday 6th October - Pray for the new CRU Bolt Day Camp at The King’s School. Pray that this will be a great start to a long connection with Day Camps and all the kids who come along will be keen to come along to a church after camp. Saturday 7th October - Thank God for the recent FIT (Followers in Training) events that took place in Term 3 in various locations around Sydney, South Coast and Canberra. Pray that the students will be eager to put into practice the new skills that they developed in sharing Jesus with their school peers. Sunday 8th October - Pray for the new General Manager Nigel Glasby, that he would settle into this role at Crusaders and would provide wise management of financial resources, human resources, risk and the important IT systems. Monday 9th October - The Year 5 students from Our Lady of the Rosary are joining the Summit Team at Galston for their school camp (9th – 11th). Please pray for the students, that they will understand the gospel and that great discussions can happen throughout camp. Tuesday 10th October - Praise God for all those who gave generously towards the End of Financial Year Appeal to help install an indoor high ropes course at Galston. Thanks to their prayerful contributions, this new activity will attract more children to camps where they will hear about Jesus!
Tuesday 3rd October - Praise God for the completion of the Waste Water Treatment System at Galston. Praise God for the generosity and prayers of the supporters who made this vital work possible.
Wednesday 11th October - Please pray for the students in Year 4 at St Peter’s Anglican Primary School as they join the Summit Team at Lake Macquarie (11th – 13th). Pray for great weather and that logistics will go smoothly.
Wednesday 4th October - Pray for Kate Stace and Tom French as they direct CrossTrain leadership camp. Pray that lots of campers will come along and be keen to get equipped for leadership and ministry in their school Christian groups and be empowered for a lifetime of ministry.
Thursday 12th October - Give thanks for those that contribute to our CRU camper and leader sponsorship fund, which helps children and leaders be on camp, especially those that come from difficult backgrounds or are going through hardship. Praise God that camp can provide great respite for these kids and their families.
Friday 13th October - Pray for the new Associate Director of Fundraising, Ros Harvey, as she settles into her role and gets to know the CRU family. Pray also for the provision of a new Bequest & Donor Care Manager who can share with supporters about what a gift in their Will could achieve for the kingdom. Saturday 14th October - Pray for the CRU Ball tonight as we thank the amazing volunteers who make camps happen, give up their time and use their gifts to serve Christ. Pray this will be a great event that clearly communicates the vision and mission of CRU Camps so that teams can see what God is doing across all the camps. Sunday 15th October - Give thanks for the Crusader Business Breakfast held on 20th September. Over 200 young professionals heard from Bay Warburton, former Chief of Staff to Mike Baird, and were encouraged by stories of young people developing a faith that endures. Thank God also for the vital funds raised at this event. Pray that God would enable Crusaders to use this money to grow and reach more young people for Christ. Monday 16th October - Please pray for love, wisdom and good judgment for the Crusader Council who meet throughout the year to discuss strategic decisions. They meet tonight and again on 27 November. Tuesday 17th October - Pray for the Fundraising Team as they prepare for the Christmas Appeal, that God would use them powerfully to captivate many donors with the wonderful ministry of Crusaders. Wednesday 18th October - Please pray for the students in Year 5 at Rouse Hill Anglican College who are on camp at Lake Macquarie with the Summit Team. Pray for safety as they do sailing and various other water and land activities. Thursday 19th October - Praise God for St Catherine’s School and the work of their school CRU Groups during Faith Week. Pray that there will be great fruit to follow the evangelistic talks and Q&A sessions. Friday 20 October - St Peter’s Anglican Primary School Year 3 are joining the Summit Team for a day camp at Galston. Pray that the day will go well and that leaders will quickly be able to build relationships with the students and help them to understand who God is. th
Saturday 21st October - Danebank Anglican School are joining the Summit Team at Galston for a Mother and Daughter camp for the Year 3-6 students. Praise God for this great opportunity for the mothers and daughters to bond through various activities on camp. Sunday 22nd October - Please pray for the Summit Team as they lead Meriden Year 6 girls at Lake Mac. Pray that the leaders will still make it a priority to be spending time in the word throughout camp. Being refreshed and filled by God. Monday 23rd October - The boys from Barker College Year 5 are joining the Summit Team for a Leadership camp at Namaroo. Pray that the boys may learn what it means to be a leader and apply those skills back at school in their leadership positions. Tuesday 24th October - Please pray for Meriden Year 5 camp at Yarramundi this week. Pray that the Summit leaders will work and communicate well with the teachers and that the students will come away from camp having learnt more about God. Wednesday 25th October - Please pray for St Paul’s Grammar School Year 5 as they join the Summit Team at Lutanda, Mt Victoria. Pray that the leaders on team will be filled with much energy and bring glory to God through all their actions and words throughout camp. Thursday 26th October - Meriden Year 2 Day Camp at Galston is on today. Pray for patience for the leaders, and for wisdom and guidance as they don’t often lead this age group. Friday 27th October - Please pray for the Meriden Year 3 and 4 girls on their school camp at Galston. Pray that the Summit leaders will lead discussion groups with wisdom, allowing God to speak clearly through them as they answer any difficult questions. Saturday 28th October - Please pray for the Summit Fellows while they are in the very busy period of Term 4. Pray that God will sustain the leaders and fill them with the strength and energy they need. Pray that they will be wise with their time off and rest well.
Sunday 29th October - Thank God for His provision of the first CRUWest Schools Worker, Sheridan Raston. Thank God for her enthusiasm and hard work. Pray the Lord will give her strength and wisdom, and that He will use her meetings with Christian teachers, parents and students for His purposes in WA.
Friday 3rd November - Pray for the students attending Big InterCRU today at St Andrew’s Cathedral School, that they will be encouraged and inspired to be united in sharing Jesus at their school. Pray for Dave Jensen as he gives the Bible talk, that he will speak God’s word passionately and faithfully to the students.
Monday 30th October - Pray for God’s favour over Gary, Anna and Damien in the CRU office as they endeavour to schedule meetings with supporters about the Lake Mac redevelopment. Pray for good communication and fruitful meetings.
Saturday 4th November - Please pray for the Summit Fellows in their training during Term 4 as they participate in many activity training days and finish off all their assignments and assessments for their Certificate II, III and IV. Pray that this may be a smooth and stress free process.
Tuesday 31st October - Burgmann Anglican School Year 7 are joining the Summit Team at Lake Macquarie for their school camp. Pray for the students to understand who Jesus is and know how they can best live for him.
Sunday 5th November - Pray that God will raise up many more people to pray for the work and ministry of CRUWest, and that God will make them faithful in prayer. Monday 6th November - The Summit Team will be running a camp with St Catherine’s School Year 11 at Collaroy. Please pray for confidence for the leaders and that they would be able to run a smooth camp program at a site that they don’t often use. Tuesday 7th November - Pray for the Schools Ministry team as they travel around to different schools. Pray that they will be an encouragement to Christians in schools and that God will use their Bible talks to grow His Kingdom.
NOVEMBER Wednesday 1st November - Praise God for the opportunity for the Summit Team to partner with The Tops Conference Centre to run the school camp for Burgmann Anglican School, Year 6. Pray for the Summit Team to be godly witnesses to the site staff as they work together. Thursday 2nd November - Please pray for safety for Burgmann Anglican School Year 8 students as they hike to Crosslands and camp out as part of their Galston camp with the Summit Team. Pray that they may gain a great understanding of the outdoors and camping.
Wednesday 8th November - Please pray for the Summit Team as they lead Green Point Christian College Year 9 at Galston. Pray that the leaders would fully trust and rely on God, continually bringing everything to God in prayer throughout the week. Thursday 9th November - Claremont College Year 5 will be joining the Summit Team at The Tops Conference Centre for their school camp. Please pray for the leaders that they will be full of patience and love in their interactions with the students and that the school might see Christ through their actions. Friday 10th November - CRU has our annual Wills Days today and tomorrow, where supporters can have their Wills updated or written for free. Give thanks that CRU can provide this service and pray that many will take up the offer. Give thanks for those who prayerfully decide to leave a gift in their Wills to support Crusaders in the long-term.
Saturday 11th November - Give thanks for Graeme and Andrew at Canberra Grammar School and ask that God would bring more students into their CRU Groups to hear about Jesus. Sunday 12th November - Praise God for the provision of a growing CRU Properties team. Pray that as a team they will serve well as they seek to be good stewards of the sites entrusted to them. Monday 13th November - Please pray for St Paul’s Grammar School, Year 3 Camp happening at Galston. Pray for the students as this is their first camp with Summit, that they may have a good experience and learn more about God. Tuesday 14th November - St Paul’s Grammar School is at Lake Mac for their Year 4 school camp. Please pray that the leaders might display joy and peace through every situation on camp, reflecting Christ in their actions. Wednesday 15th November - Praise God for the great partnership the Summit Team have with Winmalee Christian Conference Centre. Please pray that together they may run a great and smooth camp for Claremont College Year 3. Thursday 16th November - Please pray for the students on Claremont College Year 4 camp joining the Summit Team at Galston. Pray that they will have opportunities to step outside their comfort zone and be stretched during activities. Friday 17 November - Praise God for the partnership the Summit Team are able to have with so many schools. Pray that they are able to continue to work alongside each other well to help further students’ development in their love and knowledge of Christ. th
Saturday 18 November - Pray for the architects who are drawing up detailed plans for each building in Stage 1 of the Lake Mac redevelopment. Please pray that this next level of detail will not uncover issues with the design, and that everyone will work together to fulfil the vision of reaching the next generation for Christ. Please pray that prudent decisions are made to help keep costs in check. th
Sunday 19th November - Pray for all the students who have finished school and are celebrating with CRU Schoolies on Fraser Island. Pray for safety and wise choices as they do this and for the great outlet this camp is for safe celebration. Give thanks for Scripture Union as we join them on this camp. Monday 20th November - Please pray for the Summit Team on Arndell Anglican College Year 5 camp happening at Lake Macquarie. Please pray that the leaders will serve wholeheartedly and give all the glory to God. May they seek Him with everything they do during camp. Tuesday 21st November - MLC School Year 3 will be joining the Summit Team for their camp at Galston. Please pray for Christian Discovery, that the students will have hearts to hear and that they will listen and concentrate during discussion groups. Wednesday 22nd November - The Year 10 students from Green Point Christian College are joining the Summit Team for a City Adventure Camp. Pray for safety as the students travel around the city and pray for energy for the leaders on this huge camp. Thursday 23rd November - Arndell Anglican College Year 6 are joining the Summit Team at Lake Macquarie for their camp. As the end of the year draws near, please pray for the Summit leaders, that they will be filled with strength and energy throughout camp. Friday 24th November - Praise God for the opportunity the Summit Team have to run a day camp for St Peter’s Year 1 at their school. Pray that the gospel may be explained to them clearly and that they will be excited about many future camps with Summit in the years to come. Saturday 25th November - Pray for VOLT Summer leadership training happening today. This is a great opportunity for leaders to come together to see the bigger CRU community, network with other leaders, worship together and learn new skills to use on camp over the summer season. Sunday 26th November - Pray for the Year 11 and 12 student leaders at William Carey Christian School as they help lead the Year 5 and 6 CRU Group.
Monday 27th November - The Year 5 students from Shore Grammar School are joining the Summit Team at Lake Macquarie for their school camp. Pray for great weather and safety for the students as they are out on the water and that great relationships will be built throughout camp.
Saturday 2nd December - Pray for the Schools Ministry team as they speak at Christmas chapels, that they will proclaim the great message of Christmas clearly and that the Holy Spirit will be at work in the lives of the students and teachers in attendance.
Tuesday 28th November - Please pray for the boys from Shore Grammar School Year 6 at Galston as they finish off the year with a camp with the Summit Team. Pray that the boys will be well behaved and respond well to the gospel.
Sunday 3rd December - Please pray for the principals and chaplains of Perth’s independent schools. Pray that God will give them wisdom in these roles such that His light will shine within and through these schools. Pray too that when vacancies occur, God will appoint people who deeply know the Lord Jesus.
Wednesday 29th November - Pray for the leaders from the Summit Team on the William Clarke College Year 10 camp happening at Galston. As this is the last camp of the year, pray that the team will finish strong and serve the students to the best of their ability. Thursday 30th November - Pray for the CRU Camps team as they prepare for camp season. Pray for Lauren as she speaks to parents and books youth on camp, for Iain as he assists the whole team, Calum as he prepares for Day Camps, Jess as she finalises logistics and manages the team and for Phil as he leads the CRU Camps Division and prepares to travel around visiting all the camps this season.
Monday 4th December - Praise God for the CRU Groups that are running in a number of Perth schools and for providing the leaders to run them. Thank God for interest to start new groups, and pray that He will provide faithful, able leadership, and that a good number of students will attend and grow in faith. Tuesday 5th December - Thanks for the cohesive kitchen teams God has provided to Galston and Lake Mac, and for the thousands of meals they’ve catered to campers. Pray that they may continue to provide meals that are enjoyable for all guests. Wednesday 6th December - Praise God for His protection, particularly in the area of providing for special diets at Crusaders sites. Pray that the catering team will continue to be diligent in their preparation process.
DECEMBER Friday 1st December - Praise God for the great year that it has been and for the opportunity to have impacted around 8700 students on Summit Camps this year.
Thursday 7th December - Pray for the busy time ahead as the Properties Team, led by Matt Seidl, prepare the Lake Mac site for the construction phase of the redevelopment. Friday 8th December - Please pray for the Summit Fellows, that they will continue to grow in their love and knowledge of God and be disciplined in their personal quiet times and gain a deeper knowledge of the Bible. Saturday 9th December - Thank God for the increase of students attending Oran Park Anglican College’s Senior CRU Group. Pray that they would grow spiritually.
Sunday 10th December - Pray that Sail Mania camp will be as full as it was last year and that heaps of campers will be able to enjoy sailing on the lake as well as lots of other great activities. Pray for Fi Copeman and the team as they lead and for Mike Wzontek as he speaks about God to the campers each day. Monday 11th December - Pray for the boys on Treasure Island as they get muddy and enjoy the outdoors and hear about the God who made everything. Tuesday 12th December - As Christmas Capers continues, praise God for this creative camp full of fun ideas and great opportunities for these girls to make friends and have wonderful female role models who love Jesus. Wednesday 13th December - Give thanks for the boys on Game Zone as they play games, do outdoor activities and make new friends. Pray the leaders can really connect with the boys and be great role models to them. Thursday 14th December - Please pray for the Summit Fellows that are finishing up with us in December. Praise God for the work that He has done so far in and through them. Pray that they will finish off well and that God will continue to use and grow them outside of Crusaders. Friday 15th December - Pray for CRU Burst Day Camp at Arndell Anglican College. Give thanks for all the campers that will be on camp this week hearing about Jesus, making lots of friends and trying new activities. Saturday 16th December - Please pray for strong applicants to apply for the Summit Fellowship program for our January intake. Pray that God will fill James Carroll with wisdom and discernment as he reviews the applications. Sunday 17th December - Pray for Emma Gray and the team as they lead the campers on Survivor Junior and do lots of high-energy activities at Galston this week. Pray the talks would be clear and point campers to the good news of Jesus. Monday 18 December - Pray for the spy-themed Survivor Senior camp as the directors and team plan the activities and design new games. Pray the campers will have an amazing camp and experience close community. th
Tuesday 19th December - Praise God for the great facilities CRU has at Lake Mac and that this allows CRU to run sailing camps like Waves and Wind, where campers can learn to sail, get outdoors and hear about Jesus in the midst of His amazing creation. Wednesday 20th December - Praise God for his provision of groups who have booked at the Galston site over the last year and for the year to come. Thursday 21st December - Praise God for the new schools CRU has been able to contact and begin supporting this year, and for the CRU Group ministry that has begun in these schools. Friday 22nd December - Give thanks for the campers that come on camp through community service organisations. Praise God for the way campers grow and change on camp and after camp as a result of being around excellent Christian leaders who love and care for them just as their Saviour does. Give thanks for the caseworkers who support these youth and their families. Saturday 23rd December - Praise God for the impact that camp has on campers like Johnathan, who came on his school camp with Summit very nervous, anxious and unsure about activities like abseiling, sleeping in a tent and bushwalking. He was also new and didn’t have many friends in his year yet. By the end of camp, he had made many new friends and said that he loved every activity, especially abseiling. Sunday 24th December - Praise God for students like Sarah, who on her school camp started off very quiet in discussion groups but by the end of camp decided that she wanted to become a Christian. She said that, “Camp has really helped me understand the value of Christ and I want to live His way.” Praise God that she was able to take a devotion home with her to help her grow. Monday 25th December - Praise God for the birth of Jesus. Pray that Crusaders as an organisation can continue to faithfully proclaim His good news of salvation.
Tuesday 26th December - Praise God for Jonnie and Adri (School Ministry Associates). Give thanks for how God has grown and equipped them for ministry over the last two years, and for the many opportunities that they’ve had to share the gospel. Pray that God would continue to give Jonnie and Adri a passion to see His name proclaimed. Wednesday 27 December - Praise God for the generous volunteers who support the Fundraising Team with regular tasks and during busy periods. Praise God especially for Annie, who volunteers in the office every week. th
Thursday 28th December - Pray for Christian teachers, that they will rest well during their holidays and be refreshed to continue serving God faithfully in their schools. Friday 29th December - Praise God for Linda’s fifteen years of service on the Crusaders Fundraising team. Pray that God would continue to sustain her and use her for his glory. Saturday 30th December - Give thanks to God for his provision of the finances needed to support Crusaders’ mission to serve young people, and pray that the Finance team will be good stewards of these funds. Sunday 31st December - Give thanks to God for Lake Mac’s working bees through the year, especially the team from MMM who spent close to two weeks uplifting the main hall at Lake Mac in July.
JANUARY Monday 1st January - Praise God that David Braga has volunteered to lead the fundraising effort for the Lake Mac fundraising campaign as Campaign Director. Pray for God’s protection and blessing over him and others in key roles (Roger Corbett and Cassandra Mathews).
Tuesday 2nd January - Give thanks for Nate Gale and the way he runs Sailing Adventure and leads his team. Pray for safety out on the water and lots of good opportunities for the leaders to talk to campers about God in discussion groups and all throughout camp. Wednesday 3rd January - Praise God for the Attunga campsite and the bikes tere that allow CRU to run dirt bike camps like On Two Wheels. Praise God for the mechanics on these camps that are often up till the early hours of the morning getting the bikes ready for the next day of riding. Thursday 4th January - Give thanks for the girls on Mountain Muster and the great experience they have riding horses, having camp outs and heaps of other activities, all while learning about Jesus who loves them. Friday 5th January - Pray for a fruitful and encouraging evening at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Crusader Union. Saturday 6th January - Praise God for Aussie Adventure and young campers on this horse riding, canoeing, whip cracking adventure at Attunga. Pray many campers would come to a saving faith in Jesus on this camp. Sunday 7th January - Pray for the group of campers on Escape at Galston. Pray for a great outing to Wet ‘n’ Wild during the week and that leaders would have the chance to chat to campers on the bus trip about where they are at with Jesus. Monday 8th January - Give thanks for Hannah Meier and Tiana Hazlewood as they direct Extreme Games and as they and the team care for these young campers. Pray for any first time campers on this camp that they would feel welcome and excited to be there and have a great first look into camp. Pray also for Beach Blitz, for safety as they spend lots of time at the beach and exploring Manly and great opportunities to chat about Jesus as they watch the sun go down on the beach. Tuesday 9th January - Thank God for Dave Warner and his many years of service on CRU Camps. Give thanks for the team on After the Mast who enable campers to have an excellent time on camp and be taught really clearly about God. Pray many would decide to put their trust in Him this week on camp.
Wednesday 10th January - Pray for the new Schools Ministry Associates as they settle into their roles at CRU. Pray that they will grow in their knowledge and love for God. Pray that God will equip them to serve both in schools and on camps.
Thursday 18th January - Give thanks for the Summer Spectacular Day Camp at Mamre Anglican School back again for another year of camp and the local churches that support the camp. Pray for great opportunities to connect families to these local church communities.
Thursday 11th January - Pray for safety on bikes as the campers on Dirtbike take on more challenging tracks during the week. Pray for campers who have been coming on Dirtbike camps over the years, that the seeds planted would start to bear fruit in their lives.
Friday 19th January - Pray for Aqua, a smaller senior high camp and for the close community that is built each year on this camp. Pray for Phil Close and the team as they get alongside the campers over the 7 days of camp and the great opportunity they have to show Jesus to the campers.
Friday 12th January - Praise God for the Summer Games Day Camp at William Clarke College. Pray these kids would be taught faithfully from the Bible through fun and creative ways that they can understand. Give thanks for the resources that help teach children the truth about Jesus.
Saturday 20th January - Praise God for the new Summit Fellows that have just started with the team. Please pray for them as they go through January training that they will be able to gain and remember all the knowledge and skills for the job and be able to apply them on Summit camps coming up in February.
Saturday 13th January - Pray for the first study camp of the year and this new year of HSC students. Pray this camp will give students a great study foundation, and get them thinking about the bigger things in life, especially Jesus. Sunday 14th January - Praise God for technology’s capabilities and that CRUTech can connect to campers who are passionate about this. Pray for the leaders as they use this great opportunity to connect campers to Jesus. Monday 15th January - Pray for Jess and the team on Triple S at Kincumber this week. Pray for safety on all the activities and at the beach and for lots of great conversations to be had on camp about God. Pray the campers are open to hearing the good news and respond. Praise God for CRU Break Day Camp at Shellharbour and for the great partnership between the school and local churches. Thank God for their eagerness to connect with the families that send their kids along to camp. Tuesday 16th January - Praise God for the Brightwaters team and their passion to use water skiing, wakeboarding and boating as their mission field. Pray that lots of campers who went on the spring Brightwaters camp will be back again on the summer camp. Wednesday 17th January - Praise God for the dedicated team of CRU Hype and the way they meet and plan camp throughout the year. Pray the new campsite they will be at this year will work well for the different mission games they play on camp.
Sunday 21st January - Praise God for Getaway. Praise God for Mark Gardner and Fi Axford and their years of experience and commitment to CRU camps and their love for the kids on their camps and their desire to make Jesus known to them. Monday 22nd January - Pray for the students on the second study camp of the year. Pray for seeds to be planted in campers hearts this week and this will start them off on a great direction for their year ahead. Tuesday 23rd January - Give thanks to God for Gary Hill as he continues to lead Crusaders. His many years of experience in this role and his godly caring leadership is a great blessing. Pray that our Heavenly Father would sustain Gary as he seeks to lead Crusaders to share Jesus with a new generation. Wednesday 24th January - Pray that booking enquiries for Crusaders sites will align well with a packed schedule for the year ahead. Pray for good relationships with group coordinators to help encourage re-bookings. Pray that the various price rises necessary across different services will not negatively impact on bookings. Thursday 25th January - Pray for Andrew Reeves, that he would know how to encourage and lead the team well at Galston to achieve all that God has planned.
Friday 26th January - Pray for Ros, Linda and Elisabeth in the Fundraising team as they work to meet ongoing fundraising targets, particularly as many bigger donors are being asked by Anna and Damien to support Lake Mac. Saturday 27th January - Pray for Garry Tenkate, Galston Property Manager, that he would ably lead the team as they seek to maintain a safe, enjoyable and clean site. Pray for David Herrington, Guest Liaison Manager, that he would continue to serve the groups’ needs well as he aids them in running camps smoothly. Sunday 28th January - Praise God for the new CRU resource about the attributes of God. Pray that this resource will be used in schools to help students come to understand more about God and how amazing He is. Monday 29th January - Abbotsleigh Year 12 have their school camp at Galston. Pray for the Summit Team as this is their first school camp of the year. Pray that they may run a smooth camp and that the girls will gain a greater understanding of the gospel. Tuesday 30th January - Praise God for the team at Galston who are committed to making the site a great place to visit. Praise God for the plans he has in mind for the site. Pray that the team might be God’s faithful servants, helping to achieve his plans. Wednesday 31st January - Give thanks for Pete Crawford and his leadership over the Schools Ministry Team. Please pray that Pete will keep growing in his love and passion to share Jesus.
FEBRUARY Thursday 1st February - Praise God for the students who attended CrossTrain in October. Give thanks for all that they learnt about Christian leadership and pray that God would use them to lead their CRU groups and schools in 2018 and beyond. Friday 2nd February - Give thanks for Julie and Renee at Georges River Grammar School and their passion for both students and parents to know the gospel. Saturday 3rd February - Praise God for the students at Cranbrook who meet weekly at their CRU group. Pray that God would grow this group and that more students would come along and hear the good news of salvation. Sunday 4th February - Praise God for all the student leaders of their school CRU Groups. Pray that they will continue to serve God humbly and faithfully and be unashamed to stand up for Christ at their school. Monday 5th February - Pray for patience, unity and love to be continually displayed amongst the CRU staff as they seek to serve together in a busy environment. Tuesday 6th February - Pray that God would give Christian teachers and students boldness, courage and humility to share the gospel with someone today. Wednesday 7th February - Pray for students who feel lonely at school. Pray that God would work through Christian students to comfort and support their peers and to show them the love of Christ.
