MAY
Week starting Sunday 7 May
Please pray for the CRU Teachers' Conference to be held at St Anne's Anglican Church, Ryde, this Friday. We hope that the teachers will be encouraged in their faith and be inspired to keep praying in and for their schools. Pray also for the seven CRU Educational Camps happening this week across various sites including CRU Galston Gorge and CRU Lake Mac. Give thanks for such a large number of camps and the subsequent opportunities to positively impact the lives of many young people.
Week starting Sunday 14 May
Pray for the CRU Board as they meet this Monday. Give thanks for these men and women who serve faithfully and for their love for God. Pray that their decision making will enable Jesus to be glorified. Pray also for the five CRU Educational Camps running this week at CRU Lake Mac and CRU Galston Gorge. Give thanks for the faithful service of the leaders as they work hard to make camp an enjoyable experience for both teachers and students. Praise God for the opportunities provided to share Jesus with hundreds of kids this week.
Week starting Sunday 21 May
Give thanks to God for those who financially support CRU West in schools and on camps in WA. Pray that the ministry work will grow to provide further opportunities for the gospel to be preached and lives changed.

Week starting Sunday 28 May
Praise God and give thanks for the CRU staff who work behind the scenes: Accounts, Payroll, Communications, Operations, HR and IT. Thank God for equipping them with unique skills and experience as they work to support the frontline ministries of CRU. Pray also that teachers will be encouraged and equipped as they attend the CRU West Teachers’ Conference to be held on the 30 May at Swan Christian College.

JUNE
Week starting Sunday 4 June

Give thanks for the four CRU Educational Camps being held this week - three at CRU Lake Mac and one at CRU Galston Gorge. Pray for good weather, smooth logistics and for the leaders as they faithfully model Christ to the students under their care. The CRU Finance Committee also meets this week. Pray for clear communication and wise decisions as they oversee CRU’s finances.

Please pray for CRU staff on Tuesday at our Staff Connection Day. Give thanks for the opportunity for staff to gather together and be encouraged, refreshed and inspired by biblical teaching and loads of fun together.

Week starting Sunday 18 June
Thank God for the dedicated men and women who serve on CRU’s Board. Pray for them as they meet this week and ask God to give them wisdom and clarity as they plan, think strategically and make godly decisions for CRU.
Week starting Sunday 25 June
Pray for the winter CRU Holiday Camps season which has just started. Please uphold the four camps running this week - Winter Study 1, Winter Study 2, Velocity and Country Breakout. Pray for safety, smooth logistics, fruitful discussions and loads of fun. Ask that God would open campers’ hearts and minds to the gospel message and deepen their faith in Him.
JULY
Week starting Sunday 2 July
Give thanks for 10 CRU Holiday Camps being held in various locations on the east coast, one Day Camp at Mosman Prep School and two camps in WA this week. Please pray for great weather, safety (particularly for ski camps), great community and many opportunities to have productive conversations about Jesus with campers.

Week starting Sunday 9 July
Two activity camps, three study camps, one leadership camp and two Day Camps are on this week. Pray for a great week of new friendships, fun and encouragement for all campers. Pray particularly for CrossTrain, a leadership camp for high school students, being held at CRU Galston Gorge this week. Pray that campers will be encouraged to prioritise living for Jesus and boldly put this into practice as they serve Him at school.
Week starting Sunday 16 July
Pray for CRU Blast Day Camp being held at Richard Johnson Anglican School this week. This camp has run for many years and kids are always very keen to attend. Pray that the Holy Spirit will be working in the hearts of each camper this week. Give great thanks for the winter season of camps as it comes to an end and for effective follow up of campers in the weeks ahead.
Week starting Sunday 23 July
There are four CRU Educational Camps this week - two at CRU Lake Mac, one at CRU Galston Gorge and one in the ACT. Pray for energy and good health for the team as the new school term begins. Ask that the leaders will care for campers with humility, grace and kindness. Pray the team build genuine relationships with the campers quickly and answer questions wisely. Pray also for the CRU Board and Governance Committee as they meet on Monday.
Week starting Sunday 30 July
Thank God for the teachers and chaplains who run lunchtime CRU Groups in schools across NSW, ACT and WA. Give thanks for their faithful service, creativity and energy which they put into preparing and running these groups each week. Pray they are effective in teaching the Bible, nurturing students in their faith and equipping them to share Jesus with their friends.
Week starting Sunday 6 August
Give thanks for the four CRU Educational Camps being run this week, for enthusiasm to show Christ’s love to campers, clear communication as they help campers explore the Bible and love and patience as they build relationships with campers and teachers on camp. The ACT Inter-CRU is also being held on Friday afternoon. Pray that many students from ACT schools would attend and be encouraged as they meet together.
Week starting Sunday 13 August
Five CRU Educational Camps are on this week at a variety of locations. Please pray that campers will have a memorable week as they enjoy fun activities, learn new skills and find out about the God of the Bible. Two Inter-CRUs are also being held at Cranbrook (Eastern Suburbs) and Abbotsleigh (North Shore) this week. CRU Camps Committee meets on Monday night to plan for camps in the months ahead. Ask that God would have His hand over all these events this week.

Week starting Sunday 20 August
The CRU Properties Committee meets this week. Pray for this team as they think strategically about the growth and development of the CRU campsites and make decisions in this regard. Praise God for the many CRU Educational Camps being run this week (two at CRU Lake Mac, four at CRU Galston Gorge and one in Canberra). Ask that God would be working in campers’ lives this week.
Week starting Sunday 27 August
Five FIT training events are being held around NSW and the ACT this week. Please pray for the Year 5 and 6 students as they learn Christian leadership skills and put them into practice in their school CRU Group. Pray also for the seven CRU Educational Camps on this week at CRU Lake Mac, CRU Galston Gorge and Canberra. Ask that the Summit team model Christ well and that many campers will be keen to find out more about Jesus from camp.
