ADVANCING THE NAME OF JESUS Dear Friend, The foundation stone of the early church was their witness to the crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus – as “salvation is found in no one else” (Acts 4:12). “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship” (2:42), they showed great generosity in sharing their wealth (2:44-45), and “the Lord added to their number daily” (2:47). We thank God that we too are witnesses to Him, sharing the timeless, life-saving message of Jesus some two thousand years later.
