Grace almost missed out on the opportunity to attend a CRU Holiday Camp. Difficult financial circumstances meant that Grace’s parents almost cancelled her camp registration. Thankfully, the CRU Camper Sponsorship Fund meant that assistance could be provided to help Grace attend a holiday camp at CRU Lake Mac. The Camper Sponsorship Fund helps minimise camp fees for those families who would love to send their kids to camp but are struggling with illness, hardship, or financial difficulty. Grace was so grateful for the opportunity to attend camp and shares, “Everyone was so nice. The leaders were amazing and I felt very welcomed and excited to be on camp. Sailing was my favourite
activity on camp - it’s really freeing!” She continues, “I’d be so excited to listen to the talks every morning and I’d always get something out of them. By the end of camp, I’d decided: I wanted to be a Christian.” Grace’s dad is thankful for how Grace has been impacted by camp and shares, “Grace always has a great time at CRU Camps and makes new friends. She always gets something out of it when she goes on camp. I think it gave her independence when she was younger too.” He knows that without the CRU Camper Sponsorship Fund, Grace may have missed out on these great experiences. He shares, “I was completely thrown by this generosity… we are incredibly grateful.”

With 90 years of experience, CRU® Holiday Camps is the largest provider of Christian holiday camps in NSW, welcoming around 4,000 campers a year on over 80 camps. On a CRU® Camp, your child will:

EXCEPTIONAL LEADERS Our dedicated teams of Christian leaders care for campers 24 hours a day. They are trained in child protection procedures, reference-checked and screened in accordance with government legislation. Their love for God and young people makes them brilliant role models. Each camp has a ratio of at least 1 leader to every 5 campers, with at least 2 leaders with First Aid qualifications to ensure that each camper receives an exceptional level of care. Most primary-age camps also have a camp ‘mum’ and ‘dad’ to care for the emotional needs of young campers.
ENCOURAGING ENVIRONMENT
Our nurturing camp environment is one where your child will feel accepted, cared for and encouraged. Through activities, leaders help your child develop teamwork, cooperation and communication skills whilst also challenging them to step out of their comfort zone to achieve new things. Meals, discussion times, and the encouraging camp environment enable campers to leave camp having grown in confidence, character, and social skills. Our camps are alcohol, tobacco and drug-free.
GREAT VALUE
We work hard to offer quality programs at the lowest possible price. This season our early bird camp fees start from just $41 a day for Day Camps. Residential Camps start from $100 per night which includes all activities, meals, accommodation, and 24-hour supervision, plus transport for most activity camps.

adventures o Our action-packed CRU® Day Camps will ensure your child makes the most of the opportunity to make new friends and build self-confidence during their school holidays! They’ll enjoy the experience of camp, with the chance to participate in exciting outdoor activities and explore a Christian worldview, whilst still going home to sleep in the comfort of their own beds. EXCITING ACTIVITIES Laser tag, stick-lets, giant jumping castle, scooter ball, excursions, archery, rock climbing, creative craft, Nerf tag, parachute games, mobile basketball, magic show, BMX bike riding, giant swing, and Christian Discovery with puppet shows, singing and skits.^
CARING COMMUNITY Our caring leaders get alongside your child to make sure they have a great time. The whole camp shares the same morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as lots of activities together, to ensure everyone feels like they belong.
FLEXIBLE TIME The program will start each day at 9am and run until 5pm. Drop-off is from 8am9am and pick-up is from 5pm-6pm with activities and games provided during these times.
AFFORDABLE CARE You don’t have to pay extra for your child to go on an excursion, nor do you have to make lunch each day. Everything is included in the one low price! Also, camper sponsorship is available on application, especially for families with multiple children attending the same camp.
