The SEA CLOUD SPIRIT, which enters service this year, conveys the same spirit and offers even more amenities to the discerning traveler: Staterooms with private balconies, a wellness and spa area, ocean-view fi tness, a spacious sundeck, and an alternate dining option on the lido deck. What began in 1931 with the dream of a millionaire couple and fascinated people then, continues today and will create unforgettable memories to many travelers.

Setting the sails by hand
On the three windjammers, the sails are still traditionally hoisted by hand – a tough job every time. Deftly, the sailors climb into the shrouds, release the heavy cloth, then vigorously tighten the ropes down on deck. There are no buttons that can simply be pressed: It takes almost a full hour until all sails catch the wind.

Rather than fighting against it with engine power, we put the wind to good use – proving that great experiences and a positive environmental balance do not contradict each other. Whenever possible, the yachts run under sail. And if that means slight changes to the course due to weather conditions, the captain is happy to oblige.

by the sommelier.

With the small number of guests on board, there is just a single sitting for every meal. Seating arrangements are not fixed. Our maître d’ will be happy to help you find your place in the restaurant. The dress code for the evening? Stylishly casual – for the Captain’s Dinner, you may opt for something a little more elegant.

Our cruises offer you a well-balanced mix of real sailing experience and exciting discoveries ashore. Our advantage as a “private yacht”: Besides well-known and -loved destinations, we mostly call at smaller, more individual ports, far off the commonly trodden path of tourists.
Special themes, exclusive events
Some of our cruises have a particular focus; others propose exclusive events. During these sailing trips, you will gain unique insights – whether you attend a private concert at a museum, or while watching the Classic Yacht Regatta “Les Voiles de Saint Tropez” or the Bucket Regatta in St Barths. A truly special highlight is also the annual “Sailing Together” cruises that offer the amazing experience of seeing our windjammers sail side by side.
