Kupas Rabbeinu Lubavitch
B.H. Sivan, 5784

P.O.B. 288 Brooklyn, New York 11225
To all Anash, Men and Women, G-d bless you.
We are soon approaching the very auspicious day, Gimmel Tammuz. This day comes in close proximity with Sivan 28, the auspicious day that the Rebbe MH"M and the Rebbetzin arrived in the United States.
Obviously, these are very opportune days, when one should again evaluate his or her "Hiskashrus" (connection) with the Rebbe, and more important, to utilize these special days to 'strengthen' the Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
"KUPAS RABBEINU," was established with the full consent and blessing of the Rebbe, with its purpose and goal to make every effort that all of the Rebbe`s activities, institutions etc. continue unchanged. By supporting Kupas Rabbeinu, one is actually participating in many of the Rebbe's activ-ities, and thus strengthening their Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
With this in mind, we therefore urge each and everyone of anash, men and women to support Kupas Rabbeinu in every possible way.
In this merit may we be "zoiche" that much before Gimmel Tammuz, the Rebbe will be revealed as Melech Hamoshiach and redeem us from this deep and bitter Golus and lead us all to the true and final Geulo, NOW MAMAOSH.
R’ Yosef Boruch Spielman
On behalf of Kupas Rabbeinu, R’ Samuel Malamud Groner family
P.S. Of course, you may send to Kupas Rabbeinu all contributions that you would send to the Rebbe; all will be devoted to the activities to which the Rebbe would devote them. You may also send Maimad, Keren-Hashono (this year 5784 - 383 days), Vov Tishrei, Yud Gimmel Tishrei Magbis etc. to Kupas Rabbeinu
Important Note: Please make all checks out to “Kupas Rabbeinu” and send only to the following address: Kupas Rabbeinu, P.O.B. 288, Brooklyn, New York 11225 www.kupasrabeinu.org

In the portion of Korach, we read about the rebellion of Korach and his cohorts, Dathan and Abiram. At one point, G-d commanded Moses: “Speak to the congregation saying, ‘withdraw from the dwellings of Korach, Dathan and Abiram.’ ” Then it says: “And Moses arose and went to Dathan and Abiram, and all the elders of Israel followed him.” The verse then tells us that Moses “spoke to the congregation ... ”
The Torah doesn’t say anything extra. Why then does it say that Moses arose, and that all the elders followed him? It could have just said that Moses went to Dathan and Abiram. What moved the elders to follow him?
Rashi explains: “And Moses arose” because he thought that Dathan and Abiram would show him respect, but they didn’t.
This was already after G-d gave the command to separate from Korach, Dathan and Abiram. At this point their fate was, so to speak, sealed. It was beyond the point of reconciliation and repentance. For that matter, going to talk to them would be going against G-d’s command to separate from them. And even more, Moses was on a mission from G-d to warn the people to separate themselves from Korach, Dathan and Abiram, and it would be highly inappropriate for him to do anything before completing his mission.
Even though Dathan and Abiram’s fates were sealed— and even though they acted brazenly against Moses and were instigators of the rebellion—Moses, out of his great love for every Jew, sought to find a way to save them.
He couldn’t go talk to them, nor do anything that would interfere with his mission. This is why Moses arose—meaning he used his position and stature as king and leader of the Jewish people in the hope that it would affect Dathan and Abiram to at least show respect, saving them from being swallowed by the earth.
This is also why the elders followed him. Moses was acting in the capacity of the king, and where the king goes, so do the elders. This added to the prestige of the event, but unfortunately, it still didn’t have the desired effect on the conspirators.
If Moses found love in his heart to try and find ways to save these evil people, how much more must we find ways to include fellow Jews who are less knowledgeable in Torah, especially when it is no fault of their own.
We have many brothers and sisters who were not granted a proper Jewish education, for whatever reason. We must take a page out of Moses’ playbook and find ways to include these Jews into the life of Torah, which is an everlasting life.
More than anything else, it is our love of every Jew that is the key to bringing Moshiach, which all Jews will experience together. May he come soon!

A woman from the Chabad Community in Brooklyn was pulled over by a N.Y.C. traffic cop for some traffic violation. Standing outside her open car window and watching her search for her license and registration papers, the police officer caught sight of a picture of the Rebbe in her open purse.
"Excuse me, maam," he asked, "are you one of the followers of this Rabbi?"
"Yes," she replied.
"Well, in that case I'm not giving you a ticket." He closed his ticket book and continued, "Do you know why? Because this Rabbi," he pointed to the picture she was now holding in her hand, "Did a very big miracle for me."
"Well," said the grateful woman, "since you aren't giving me the ticket, I have time to hear the story."
The policeman smiled and said, "I used to be in the police escort that once a week escorted the Rabbi to the Ohel.
"Well, one day I saw that all the fellows there were really talking excitedly to each other so I asked them what happened. So they told me that the Rabbi does a lot of miracles for people, but today he did a miracle that was really something. I didn't even ask what was the miracle that they were talking about, I just asked them if the Rabbi helps non-Jews also.
"'Sure,' they said, 'The Rebbe helps anyone who asks. Why? Do you need something?'
So I told him, this young fellow, that me and my wife had been married nine years with no children, and a week ago the doctors told us that we had no chance.
"So this young man tells me, 'Listen, the
next time that you escort the Rebbe to the cemetery stand near the door of his car and when he gets out ask him for a blessing.' So that is just what I did. The next time I was in the escort I stood by his door and when he got out I said to him: 'Excuse me, Rabbi, do you only bless Jewish people or nonJews too?'
"So the Rabbi looked at me like a good friend, it was really amazing, and said that he tries to help anyone he can. So I told him what the doctors said, and he said I should write down on a piece of paper my name and my father's name together with my wife's and her father's names and that he would pray for us. So I did it, and you know what? My wife became pregnant and nine months later she gave birth to a baby boy!
"But here comes the good part. Do you know what we called him? Just guess! We called him Mendel after the Rabbi. "But when our parents heard the name they really objected. They said, 'With a name like that, all the kids will think he's a Jew and they will be cruel to him. Why make the kid suffer?' 'That's just what I want,' I said to them. 'When he comes home and says that the other kids called him names because he has a Jewish name, I'll tell him that I want him to learn from those other kids how not to behave. They hate the Jews for no reason, but you should love the Jews. You just tell them that without that Jewish Rabbi called Mendel you wouldn't be here at all, and then maybe they'll start thinking differently too!'

This recipe hack gives you all the flavor control, start with plain vanilla frozen yogurt and blend it with your favorite fruit, in this case mango. This way you know you actually get real mango in your dessert. This works for ice cream and dairy free ice cream too!
1 pint vanilla frozen yogurt, slightly softened
2 cups frozen mango pieces
4 graham crackers, broken into pieces
1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine frozen yogurt and mango.
2. Pulse until combined but be sure to leave some chunks of fruit, about 2 minutes.
3. Transfer to a bowl or container and freeze for at least 1 hour or until firm again.
4. Scoop about 1 cup servings into each bowl and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers.
