Car Show

If you like cars, or if you just like hamburgers and hot dogs, please put Noon, June 16 on your calendar to be at Crossroads Northglenn. We’ve done this before, and the cars you will see will be awesome.

This is a special event honoring Father’s Day, but also raising funds for our Resident Council. These funds are used throughout the year to purchase special treats and other items of interest that benefit our residents.

There is a suggested donation for the car show of $5 a person, $10 for a family. A hot dog meal with chips and drink will be sold for $5. A hamburger meal with chips and drink will cost $7. But of course, if you want to pay more, no problem. If you plan to come, please RSVP to Marla that you’ll be attending. Email her at calng.activities@crossroadsalc.org. This will help us prepare enough food. See you on the 16th!

Update from Maranatha

Navajo Nation School Building

Maranatha volunteers have constructed a brand-new school in Kayenta, Arizona, part of the Navajo Nation. Spanning primarily parts of northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and northwestern New Mexico in the United States, it is the largest indigenous reservation in the country, covering approximately 27,000 square miles (70,000 square kilometers) of land.

The entire two-classroom building was completed in nearly 60 days, thanks to a small group of dedicated volunteers and prefabricated sections of the building that were constructed by teen volunteers in the summer of 2021. The school will soon open for kindergarten through second grade to provide quality Christian education to the people of the Navajo Nation who live here.
