A reoccurring image that keeps popping up is the love being found in Marla’s pup, Tashi. This little creature enjoys the snuggles you give, but also, quite obviously, enjoys returning the favor.

In February, we reflect on our friendships and giving. It is a time where we do something special for those around us. Enjoy this poem by Joanna Fuchs and if you get the opportunity, share your warmth and love with someone near and dear.

On Valentine’s Day we think of those Who make our lives worthwhile, Those gracious, friendly people who We think of with a smile.

Update from Maranatha

CONTAINERS FOR CUBA

In December, Maranatha raised more than $250,000 (that total has grown to more than $300,000!) to send aid to the Cuban people stuck in a desperate economic situation. Some of you may have participated. Thank you! The food, medicine, and other essentials were sent in the arrived in the port of Havana for inspection. Sometimes these containers get stuck in port for months, but God blessed and the supplies were released! Now, they have been delivered to Maranatha’s warehouse to be distributed through the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cuba. Thank you again for all of your generosity, prayers, and support to make this ambitious project happen!

An 80-year-old lady had just gotten married for the fourth time. Her fourth marriage was to a funeral director.

Interestingly, her husbands were a diverse assortment of men. She had first married a banker when she was in her 20’s, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40’s, and a preacher when in her 60’s, and now—in her 80’s—a funeral director.

Believe it or not, she had a good reason for each marriage. The way she explained it,
