Occasions Change is Happening
I was visiting a few days ago and enjoyed breakfast with Don, Carol Jane, and Deenie. We had such a nice time catching up—all while eating a delicious Diane inspired and cooked breakfast, delivered by Carmen with her always warm smile. I asked my friends how things were going. And I was happy to learn—just fine and dandy. Me, being the troublemaker that I am, asked about the things that were still needing attention. But they focused primarily on praise for the good work that has been taking place. Jeff and Jerry are rockstars to these three, and of course our awesome caregiver staff. We’ve had a lot of catching up to do in our community, but I’m happy to see positive changes are taking place every day. During this holiday season, take a minute to let someone know what a nice job or thing they did. It might be a staff member. But it also might be that wonderful neighbor (Jody) that comes and rubs your feet. Dixie, Billie, Donna, keep up your walking routines. It makes us all happy to see you making your rounds. Dell, thanks for helping with some of our fixer up projects. Bill, thanks for sharing your art and crafts. Tom, you looked great in that red hat! Merry Christmas everybody. Thanks for the cheer you bring me. – David Brillhart
