Delta County Fair & Rodeo The residents of Crossroads Senior Living are celebrating Delta this summer. But the preparation begins now! Crossroads at Delta is sponsoring a booth at the Delta County Fair and Rodeo coming up July 29 to August 7. The theme, Stars, Stripes and Summer Nights is inspiring residents to make crafts for sale at our booth. Expect to find bird houses, bolos, clay pot pin cushions, bath bombs, soap, bird seed ornaments, hair bows and dream catchers bracelets—all homemade and all for sale. The goal is to raise funds for some resident adventures. Some are imagining a trip to Glenwood Springs, a golf outing or a trip to the botanical gardens. One idea is to use the funds to inspire a remodel of the Assisted Living courtyards. The Memory care residents want to use the spoils for upgrading their tether ball, purchasing gardening supplies, creating a custom corn hole game or just a “day out at the Salon.” If you want to be part of our summer fair efforts, please give us a call. All are welcome.
