Why It Exists In the CrossPurpose Leader program, graduates move from poverty to financial stability through career training. After graduation, many find that without personal and professional mentors, access to further education, and knowledge of the resources available for economic mobility, their long-term growth isn’t sustainable. Additionally, the Cliff Effect (a sizable, sudden, and often unexpected decrease in public benefits that can occur with even a small increase in earnings) affects many. Our Alumni are then left with even fewer resources to address the rising rent, housing, childcare, food, and transportation costs in Denver.
Vision The Legacy Fellowship seeks to empower CrossPurpose graduates by helping them identify and overcome advancement barriers, increase access to resources, and create lasting generational wealth.
