CrossPurpose exists to abolish economic, relational, and spiritual poverty through career and community development.

We serve our Denver neighbors overcoming poverty—many from generational cycles. Our Launch, Leader, and Legacy programs equip them with the tools, training, and relationships to develop a career plan, launch new careers, and build generational wealth. Graduates walk into thriving wages, renewed purpose, and a lasting alumni support network.

CrossPurpose works with employers, community partners, and local and state governments to walk communities all the way out of poverty.

WHAT WE DO At CrossPurpose, we combine career training, strong relationships, financial education, and personal growth to help people thrive. We offer a program continuum that represents different points on our neighbors’ journey towards generational wealth, escaping generational poverty. See how our Launch, Leader, and Legacy programs help us provide a holistic, long-term model of poverty alleviation for the good of our neighbors.

GENERATIONAL WEALTH 30 graduates (150 participants) projected with homeownership or $5K saved for retirement.

Launched in 2022: Build Wealth.

80-250 hours with coaching and class training, varying by wealthbuilding track (3 year pilot).

Graduates earn salaries starting at $40,000 or more and attain certifications for career-building and join a network of over 1,200 alumni and counting.

Launched in 2012: Build a Career.

Launched in 2019: Build a Plan.

6-month onsite career program including personal development, job skills, and career launch. The Leader Program includes 1-on-1 coaching, community gatherings, access to mental health counseling, peer recovery programs, and spiritual development.

Online, self-paced career readiness, soft skills, and employment re-entry from correctional facilities; 6,800+ all-time participants in 62 of 64 Colorado counties.

GENERATIONAL POVERTY

NATIONAL IMPACT CrossPurpose has four locations across Denver anchored in a network of faith communities and citywide partners.

Now, cities nationwide are adopting the CrossPurpose model to love their neighbor, building a national network of workforce organizations united in the mission to end poverty.
