A HIGH-PERFORMANCE STUDIO WITH ENERGY EFFICIENT ROOF STRUCTURE AND COST-EFFECTIVE INSULATED PANELING

Cosmic Cowboy Studios

Fayetteville, AR – Cosmic Cowboy Studio, privately owned by musician and producer Ben Meade, is an intimate, music recording, video, and fine art studio. The two-story audio and visual recording studio is right in the heart of Fayetteville, AR - where the vibe of musical and artistic culture is thriving. Cosmic Cowboy is a place where artists can tell their stories using the custom acoustic panels, as well as the state of the art digital and analog recording equipment. With enthusiasm for studio recording on the rise in Northwest Arkansas, our Crossland Arkansas team was excited to build this fun, unique project.

David McKee designed the Studio with an industrial look and feel, pulling inspiration from renowned Arkansas architect E. Fay Jones. The exterior facade uses around 16,000 dark red and bronze bricks to keep the building insulated for sound. The balcony has dark steel painted trim and cedar cladding that complete the contemporary vibe. The modern industrial feel extends to the interior with exposed steel and a combination of polished concrete and red oak hardwood floors. The roof structure uses energy-efficient and cost-effective structural insulated panels (SIPs), and wood I-beams frame the second story floor.

Cosmic Cowboy has a high-performance and artistic atmosphere that is sure to cultivate local and traveling artists’ talent.
