Because Our Kids Deserve the Best

500 EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES BUILT

$3.5B CONSTRUCTED SCHOOL CONTRACTS

SCHOOL DISTRICTS BUILT FOR 125

Schools are more than buildings, they’re where futures begin. We know the pressure that comes with delivering safe, modern, and functional spaces for students, teachers, and communities. Aging facilities, evolving safety standards, and tight budgets make the work challenging, but that’s where we come in.

Our team partners closely with superintendents, school boards, and facility leaders to guide the entire construction process. We keep communication clear, decisions straightforward, and the experience as stressfree as possible. You’ll always know where things stand, and where we’re headed.

We’ve built hundreds of schools across the region, and we’ve never missed an opening day. Our goal is simple: help you bring your vision to life while making every construction dollar count.

Cherokee Nation Salina Head Start

Salina, OK I 18,338 SF

A Place Where Culture and Childhood Grow

Cherokee Nation set out to create an early childhood learning center in Salina, Oklahoma - one that honors their heritage and provides modern spaces for pre-K and toddleraged children. We partnered with Cherokee Nation and Blue River Architects to deliver this 18,383 SF facility, finishing eleven days ahead of schedule in December 2024.

Every detail was tailored for young learners, from bathrooms and showers sized for small children to classrooms built for early learning. Our team self-performed the concrete work for both the building and the outdoor playground, ensuring quality and schedule control. Inside, cultural elements celebrate Cherokee heritage, highlighted by a $20,000 decorative tree that serves as a gathering and learning focal point.

The outdoor area features specialized playground equipment, rubber flooring, and safety mats - each installed with careful coordination to meet strict safety standards and withstand daily use. Our CM at-risk approach gave us cost certainty and quality control, while our prefab capabilities helped us build smarter and deliver early.

Today, the center serves local families with dedicated classrooms, activity spaces, and outdoor play areas designed for early childhood development. Seeing children and families use these spaces for the first time reminds us why we build - creating lasting impact in the communities where we live and work.

Creating a Transformative Campus for Every Learner

At Fletcher Miller School in Lakewood, we built more than a school - we created a purpose-driven environment for students with severe physical and developmental disabilities. Replacing a 1960s building, this 27,884 SF facility is designed around accessibility, therapy, and medical support, serving a student body where 90% use wheelchairs and require daily medical care.

Every detail supports student needs. Wide corridors allow multiple wheelchairs to move side by side. Indirect lighting eliminates harsh shadows, helping students with visual processing challenges. The exterior features split-face brick, recessed patterns, and metal panels, while elevated storefront windows fill the interior with natural light.

Inside, specialized spaces support therapy and independence. Sensory rooms use color-changing lights, sound-dampening materials, and adaptive switches for controlled engagement. The therapy gym and hygiene rooms include patient lifts and motorized changing tables rated for up to 600 pounds. A custom book conveyor system lets students use adaptive switches to move books independently - small wins that build confidence and autonomy.

Building this facility required boots-on-the-ground coordination. We kept ADA-compliant routes open while the existing school operated, scheduled deliveries around school hours, and paused work for annual track meets. Our team solved steel delivery and firewall challenges while maintaining safe passage for students and staff.

We self-performed the playground construction, bringing hands-on expertise to a space designed for students with mobility challenges. Over 18 months, we focused on your priorities - safety, accessibility, and a high-quality finish - delivering a facility that supports lear ning, therapy, and independence for every student.

Delivering a Game-Changing Middle School Campus

When Melissa ISD set out to build a campus for their growing community, they needed more than classroomsthey needed a place to nurture young minds, build strong bodies, and foster team spirit. We delivered a 225,000 SF middle school on 89 acres in Melissa, Texas, creating a $99.4 million environment where 6th through 8th graders can thrive in academics, athletics, and the arts.

Athletics set this campus apart. We built dual gymnasiums - one for competitions, one for daily PE - plus a high school-quality weight room, a full football field with track, and four tennis courts. A dedicated golf facility, complete with driving range and putting green, introduces students to a lifelong sport.

Safety was a top priority. Both gyms double as storm shelters, built with insulated concrete forms to protect students and the community during severe weather. Inside, science labs and resource rooms with mobile patient lifts support hands-on learning and accessibility. The two-story design maximizes space and includes elevator access.

Performing arts spaces include a full stage, black box theater, and a media center that serves as both library and collaborative hub. Our detailed scheduling kept all trades coordinated, allowing us to finish ahead of schedule and under budget - critical for a school opening.

Polished floors, custom tile, and a prominent school crest mural create a sense of pride. This project shows how real builders deliver facilities that support academics, athletics, and community for generations.

Building Pride and Opportunity for Pryor Schools

Crossland has partnered with Pryor Public Schools on a series of transformative projects that enhance athletics, academics, and career education for the community.

At Pryor High School’s football stadium, Crossland delivered a three-story steel-framed press box with collegiate-level interiors, alongside concessions, locker rooms, restrooms, retaining walls, and a striking tiger mural that showcases school pride. Despite heavy rains and tight timelines, the team strategically sequenced steel and bleacher installation and self-performed key work to complete the stadium within 15 months while returning nearly $260,000 in unused funds to the district.

Crossland also constructed Pryor’s premier baseball and softball complex, featuring an 18,000+ SF building with locker rooms, hospitality space, and rooftop viewing, along with synthetic turf fields, professional-grade Champion Wall outfield fencing, LED scoreboards, and indoor batting cages.

Even after two record-breaking flood events, the project finished within budget and only slightly beyond the original schedule.

Supporting Pryor’s strong agricultural roots, Crossland built a 71,000 SF Vo-Ag facility consolidating programs into four buildings, including show and cattle barns, a maintenance shop with vehicle and bus lifts, and covered bus parking, all delivered on time despite challenging soil conditions and 80 weather days.

Most recently, Phase Two of Pryor High School’s master plan added a 65,000 SF two-story academic expansion with a storm-shelter band and choir room, modern classrooms, and performing arts upgrades.

Together, these projects reflect Crossland’s commitment to delivering high-quality facilities that strengthen Pryor schools and the community they serve.

crystal flats phase 1 Art Briles Stadium

Stephenville, TX I 36,500 SF | 7,500 Seat Stadium

A State-of-the-Art Stadium That Delivers for Students, Staff, and the Community

Stephenville ISD set out to build a state-of-the-art stadium that reflected community pride without breaking the budget. Through a collaborative designbuild approach, Crossland along with Parkhill helped deliver that vision, saving the district more than $5 million without compromising on design, durability, or fan experience.

To align with the district’s goals, our team toured six stadiums with stakeholders to gather input. The result is a bold, bowl-style 7,500-seat stadium featuring a grandstand, lower bowl seating, VIP-level press box, rooftop terrace, and dedicated sections for bands and media. A 48’ x 27’ scoreboard anchors the north endzone above a fully equipped locker room facility, including training rooms, showers, and coach offices.

Inside, high-end finishes include terrazzo floors, architectural wood panels, and custom Hall of Fame graphics. Outside, durable single-wythe masonry provided both structure and savings. Advanced features like DMX-controlled lighting and a cuttingedge sound system elevate the game day atmosphere.

Despite challenges with drainage and a tight budget, Crossland’s strategic bid packaging and smart design simplification kept the project on track. Our leadership, combined with input from the district, community, and design partners, delivered a stadium built to perform for decades.

This isn’t just a sports venue. It’s a lasting investment in students, fans, and the Stephenville community, and we’re proud to be part of it.

“I could not be happier with Crossland. I could not be happier with Parkhill. From our end, the team worked seamlessly - whatever happened behind the scenes, it was invisible to us, and that’s exactly how it should be. We were ahead of schedule, and everything ran smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Crossland for future projects, and I look forward to working with them again.”

— Dr. Eric Cedarstrom - Superintendent Stepheville ISD

Mustang Performing Arts Center

Mustang, OK | 63,000 SF

A Grand Stage for Talent and Community Pride

Built as part of the 2017 Mustang Schools bond program, the new Mustang Performing Arts Center is more than a performance venue - it’s a space where students, educators, and the community come together to celebrate the arts, foster creativity, and ensure safety for all.

A Performance Space Built for Excellence

The 69,000 SF facility includes a main performance hall, black box theater, and multiple classrooms to support the school’s arts curriculum. The performance hall seats 1,500 and welcomes guests with a striking 90-foot ceiling lined with LED lighting. At center stage is a custom $350,000 acoustic shell system - ten panels that enhance sound quality, supported by a ceiling-suspended shell roof.

A 12-inch thick concrete theater room also serves as a tornado shelter, offering peace of mind and protection during severe weather.

Maximizing Value Through Partnership

Crossland worked closely with Mustang Schools from preconstruction through final completion to ensure that every dollar was maximized. Strategic value engineering - both pre-bid and after the guaranteed maximum price - helped save $1 million during construction, contributing to a total contingency fund of $1.8 million. With thoughtful planning and collaboration, the district was able to reinvest $700,000 into additional improvements that mattered most.

Built With Purpose and Delivered With Integrity

Despite schedule pressures, the Crossland team kept the project on track - overcoming challenges to ensure the facility opened before the 2021 school year. This project reflects what’s possible when budget, safety, and quality are balanced through strong partnerships and shared vision. The Mustang Performing Arts Center now stands as a lasting investment in student opportunity and community engagement.

Crossland Cares: Building So Much More Than Just Buildings

At Crossland Construction, we’re builders by trade, but our true passion lies in building stronger communities. Through Crossland Cares, our purpose-driven approach goes beyond steel and concrete. We partner with schools and communities to support students, honor educators, and create meaningful, lasting impact. When you work with us, you get more than a contractor. You get a team that shows up, answers the call, and invests in your people and your future.

Building a Superheros Wish

Crossland Cares and Make-A-Wish Partner to Grant a Wish

This year marked our third partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and once again, it filled our hearts. Together, we helped a brave 9-year-old named Jeremiah become a Construction Superhero for the day. Dressed in his own safety vest and hard hat, he arrived ready to defeat a mischievous villain determined to sabotage the jobsite. With his unstoppable grin - and a little help from Crossland - he saved the day.

The Crossland crew made sure Jeremiah wasn’t just a guest; he was the hero. We welcomed him with custom signs, cheered him on as he took a victory lap in a Lamborghini, and shared a Chick-fil-A lunch together. One Tulsa team member shared, “Seeing him light up and live out his dream brought tears to my eyes.” Another said, “We love building things, but this was different. We got to build a memory that may just change a life.”

Jeremiah is in remission from T-cell leukemia after years of medications and treatment and is now on the path to recovery. His wish carried deep meaning for everyone involved.

These moments are about more than playtime - they’re about giving children strength, hope, and joy. We’re proud to build more than structures; we’re proud to help build memories that last a lifetime.

Teacher BASKETS

Supporting Educators

In a show of thanks to those shaping the future, our team delivered 51 appreciation baskets across 31 districts in 5 states. Each one was a small token of our big respect for the dedication teachers bring to the classroom every day.

Every Kid Matters

Crossland Donated a $1,500 check to the Salvation Army in Pittsburg and completed 60 Angel Tree adoptions for the Salvation Army. This effort helped provide gifts and support to families in need, spreading holiday cheer and making a meaningful impact across both communities.
