In these ways we ensure that the MoH offers something for everyone – from those who find their way to historic Main Street Claremore for food, drink and shopping to those who enter the exciting world of history that is the MoH itself, to those who don’t get downtown often but still appreciate their world transformed by art, or the enlightenment of an educational experience. We believe the MoH can be all of those things – at once a space to communicate needs, perspective, and ideal as it is a place to be awestruck by an exceptional exhibit or a revelation about our past. The MoH has been an industry leader, distinguished by the Oklahoma Historical Society as the Most Outstanding Regional Museum of Oklahoma. We continue to expand upon moving the MoH forward in a way that is relevant and responsive to our diverse community while upholding and furthering our reputation as a cultural and social innovator.
