TADAL METALWORKING We manufacture a comprehensive range of innovative metalworking fluids and oils – all designed to meet customer needs in challenging operating conditions. We provide market-leading solutions for machine shops, manufacturing and service workshops, tool rooms and maintenance departments across a variety of different applications. Cutting oils are used for metalworking operations which change both the shape and dimensions of a given metallic piece with some material loss. The material removed (chip or swarf) is carried out with a tool which requires cooling fluids and lubricants. The principal functions of cutting fluids, whether they are water-miscible coolants or neat cutting fluids such as cutting and grinding oils, are cooling and lubrication. The primary objectives are to reduce friction between the tool and the material being machined as well as dissipating heat. Another role of the cutting fluid is to flush any chips or swarf away from the cutting zone.

TADALCUT DTR FLUID Hand Applied Metal Cutting Lubricant, a viscous fluid with a high extreme pressure additives content, designed for use in drilling, tapping and reaming amongst other metal cutting operations including threading, cutting, forming, gear hobbing, broaching, pipe threading, shaping, forming, slotting and heavy duty machining. TADALCUT DTR FLUID is suitable for all metals including carbon steels and titanium’s. Significantly reduces friction giving superb cutting performance. It can also be used as a reinforcement when added to ordinary mineral cutting oil for the most severe cutting operations, such as broaching and gear cutting on the toughest metals. TADAL BIOCUT 15 Neat multi-metal cutting oil, formulated using components approved for the use in food industry. TADAL BIOCUT 15 is a cutting oil for the machining of steels, aluminum and copper alloys. chlorine, barium and zinc free. Contains additives that allow machining of copper alloys without staining or corrosion. Provides excellent finishes and cutting performance on bar turning steels. TADAL BIOCUT High-performance synthetic neat cutting oil, suitable for machining steel, aluminum, copper and their alloys. Chlorine free, formulated with paraffinic base oil and fatty additives that delivers high film resistance and cooling, whilst being operator friendly. TADAL BIOCUT does not contain phenolic derivatives or heavy metals such as barium or lead. TADAL BIOCUT 32 Neat cutting oil for machining, TADAL BIOCUT 32 is a neat cutting oil that can also be used as oil lubricant or hydraulic fluid. TADAL BIOCUT 32 contains special additives that provides: Excellent finish and cutting performance for turning steel bars Lubricate the various head mechanisms of machine tools as long as these require the viscosity of 32 cst or SAE 10W Act as hydraulic fluid in those circuits that require a fluid of the type ISO VG 32 TADAL BIOCUT 32 is a cutting oil designed to be the only oil used in workshops turning with automatic lathes.

WATER MISCIBLE OILS

SOLUBLE OILS TADALSOL A 4 Water miscible oil / cooling lubricant suitable for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Contains additives for the passivation of copper and it alloys for what they delay or suppress the darkening of these materials. Easily emulsifies with water, forming highly stable white emulsions, even with very hard waters up to 70ºHF. Using deionized water, emulsions lasting more than 2 years are obtained in centralized tanks with efficient chip filtration and removal systems of supernatant polluting oils. The product has a high level of detergency, which results in an improvement in the machining conditions of some materials such as aluminum. To prepare the emulsions we recommend using water with a hardness lower than 500 ppm of CaCo3 and chloride content less than 250 ppm.

Consult with our Technical Service for more details on this. The product contains a non-phenolic biocide with very low toxicity that ensures the biological stability of the emulsions as long as they are kept clean of sludge (through an adequate filtration system), and polluting oils. It is important that in prolonged periods without activity the emulsion remains aerated (for example bubbling compressed air or keeping it circulating), in order to avoid proliferation of anaerobic bacteria. The product is free of phenols, chromates, nitrites, heavy metals, chlorinated additives and derivatives of PTBB acid.

On some machines, the combination factors such as agitation, aeration and temperature of the emulsion, combined with the high detergency of the product can give rise foaming. In these cases, the foam usually disappears spontaneously after a few hours of work, this can be overcome with the use of a defoamer when preparing a new emulsion.

TADALSOL 122 MHL Semi-synthetic water miscible concentrate for machining, state of the art technology for emulsifying oil for machining and grinding of all type of materials. Formulated using fatty esters of vegetable origin with phosphoric esters. Excellent performance with exceptional dilution ratios thanks to its great lubricating properties Used for machining and grinding of all kinds of materials, including stainless steels.

Multi-metal soluble cutting oil. TADALSOL A 950 is a highly concentrated ester-based cutting coolant derived from vegetable oils with sulphur free additives. It provides outstanding lubrication capacity, keeping foaming in check even when working on machines under high pressure, suitable for all kinds of operations with different materials: aluminum and its alloys, steels, steel alloys hardened steels, titanium.

Extreme pressure oil for machining operations, a semi-synthetic cutting – cooling oil with a low content of mineral oil, suitable for grinding and machining operations of all kinds of steels and cast iron. TADALSOL ST 3 is designed to work with medium-high hardness water, in order to achieve an optimal emulsion life we recommended to use waters of less than 40 ºHF for total hardness.

SEMI-SYNTHETIC OILS

TADALSOL 133 Semi-synthetic cooling lubricant suitable for machining nonferrous materials. It contains additives for the passivation of copper and its alloys, delaying or suppressing the darkening of these materials. It is also suitable for machining steels. Easily emulsifies with water, forming highly stable micro-emulsions. Using deionized water, emulsions can last for more than 2 years when used in centralized tanks that have efficient systems for filtering chips and removing supernatant polluting oils. The product provides very a high level of detergency, which results in an improvement in the machining conditions of some materials such as aluminum. To prepare the emulsions, we recommend using water with a very low hardness (less than 100 ppm of CaCO3) and a chloride content of less than 250 ppm. TADALSOL 135 Semi-synthetic oil for machining, grinding and drawing of steels, aluminum and copper and their alloys. TADALSOL 135 is a latest generation state of the art, semi-synthetic coolant / cutting oil suitable for machining, grinding, drilling, tapping of carbon steels, alloy steels and light alloys of aluminum, aluminum and copper and its alloys. It is easy to emulsify, easily forming highly stable microemulsions. It is ideal for work in centralized systems when excellent anti-bacterial and algae properties are needed. Capable of achieving a sump life of more than two years. To prepare emulsions or solutions, you should always add the coolant to the water. The TADALSOL 135 can work from water hardness up to 40º HF (400 ppm CaCO3). TADALSOL 135 contains new generation biocides against microorganisms. A semi-synthetic fluid, soluble in water, formulated with mineral oil and latest generation emulsifiers with polar, anticorrosive, antioxidant and lubricant additives. TADALSOL 248 is free of boron, chlorine, active sulphur, heavy metals, phenols, and nitrites. Used for grinding and severe machining operations on a broad range of metals including steel, cast iron, yellows metals, aluminum and its alloys. TADALSOL SS – 1150 Fluid concentrate for cutting and grinding, a semi-synthetic concentrate designed as a multi-metal coolant for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Has excellent wetting and cooling characteristics of a high quality synthetic fluid that achieves superior results in machining and grinding. Performance permits the lubrication for most difficult machining operations in machining Centre’s. It is also designed for the calibration of sintered parts. Very versatile product that works well in a wide range of operations both grinding and machining. TADALSOL S – 6320 Synthetic concentrate for machining and grinding, a high performance synthetic coolant, with excellent EP performance, high lubricity and keeps foaming in check. Uses the latest technology in synthetic coolant formulation being especially recommended for machining and grinding operations of all types of steel and cast-iron alloys, even in combined cycles. Due to its synthetic formulation, TADALSOL S-6320 has an exceptional capacity to reject foreign oils, with exceptional filtration capacity in any medium. In addition, its bacteriostatic capacity ensures a Long, cost efficient sump life, as well as a reduction in maintenance and environmental costs. Versatile product designed to be used for machining, grinding, drilling, threading and milling. Compatible with a wide range of materials including cast iron, steels, aluminum, plastics and composites. Very low foaming and oil mist formation.
