DREAM DEPARTMENT 3DMAX rendering experiment, where every student had to recreate an apartment based on certain parameters as materials, furniture and limited space.

The result was an apartment based on steel, wood and marble for balancing thermal changes, so that it can be comforting in many places on earth.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN QUITO

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN QUITO Scale model of the Quito historic downtown. Made of the raft and laser engraving to recreate the place worked up in the architecture workshop.

The subject of the workshop was to create the faculty of architecture acoording to the context, the historical town center.

PRADO MUSEUM EXPANSION

CONCEPT: INFINITY OF ART: Expansion of Prado museum consist of an extension of new collections.

The inspiration comes from the idea of the “infinite” as a simile of how art has been around us for decades, and the willing to reach knowledge.

This interpretation of the form fulfills the idea of the infinite with the form and how inside we can reach the original museum by seen from any part of the new expansion.

SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS CENTER

The project was focused on the site problem. The analysis gives us a variety of issues to solve.

First, the pedestrian’s disconnection with the context. Second, the lack of nature.

Third, security due to lack of activity.

By establishing a business center in the Rio Coca Avenue (intervened sector), it was possible to connect two neighborhoods of the city that were initially disconnected through an educational and business meeting building that provides activity in the area.

The project at the time that connect two big neighborhoods solve the problem of pedestrian circulation. Furthermore to the user the creation of parks and circulation through the building that allows pedestrian to be the protagonist of the project while two buildings that face each other create a transition place.

The building is located at one side at the beginning of one of the biggest transport system of the city. On the other side, is located at the end of a street which connect the UDLA University.

Based on this, the concept of the project is “the doors of knowledge” because of the relationship with these two elements.

Mindo is a montainous watershed in the western slopes of the Andres, Where two of the most biologically diverse ecoregions in the world meets, Chocoan lowlands and the Tropical Andes.

The house was designed for a customer who wanted the comfort of the city and the rustic of a cabin The project is based on courtyard house typology in witch the main character is the nature.
