Big Board ACADEMICS & WORK-STUDY Student Scholarships Help us bridge the gap between what a student earns at their Work-Study job and the cost of their quality Cristo Rey Philadelphia high school education. Your generous donation allows a student to continue their dream of a pathway to college. DONATION: $5,000 Shakespeare in Residence Program “To be or not to be”— Sponsor a group of students to participate in this program where teaching artists transform a classroom to a stage and engage students in in-depth activities, exploring and enhancing their understanding of Shakespearean plays. DONATION: $2,000 Interactive Projector Help us transform our classrooms with these high-performance, network-ready interactive projectors that eliminate the need for a dedicated whiteboard. DONATION: $1,500 Classroom Computers Keep Cristo Rey Philadelphia students on the cutting-edge of technology with new computers and software to be used in each classroom. DONATION: $500 Faculty Professional Development The Cristo Rey teachers are forming our students into the leaders of tomorrow. Saturday Enrichment Program Our spring supplemental enrichment program provides Cristo Rey students with much needed support to help them successfully complete the school year. New Heater R.I.P. — Our circa 1959 heater is dead and will cost $60,000 to replace – ouch! We can’t run the school without heat. Your donation will help turn the heat back on and keep our students warm. DONATION: INCREMENTS OF $2,500 Cristo Rey Philadelphia Van Our students are always on the go - commuting to their Work-Study jobs, field trips, college visits and athletic events. Your generous donation would help pay for another Cristo Rey van. Rowing Machine (Erg) “Eight hearts must beat as one in an eight oared shell or you don’t have a crew!”— George Pocock. Stipend for Van Drivers We desperately need van drivers to get our students to and from their Work-Study jobs important and costly. DONATION: $500 Laminator The potential uses and benefits of this tool include student art projects, classroom materials, marketing materials, etc. DONATION: $300

ATHLETICS Heart Rate Monitors Help our students meet their fitness goals with a set of heart rate monitors to be used in gym class.

Mascot Uniforms Our Cristo Rey Philadelphia mascot is the Blue Pride. Our mascot is not one lion, but a family of lions – never less than three. The Blue Pride sticks together. They work together.

They support and protect each other. Your donation will help us buy costly mascot uniforms. DONATION: $1,000 Basketball Program Yes, indeed our boys and girls got game! Your donation will supply team uniforms, equipment and coaches’ stipends for our basketball programs. DONATIONS: $250 Track & Field Program Our students learn the value of teamwork, dedication and discipline through our athletic programs. Your donation will supply team uniforms, equipment, travel expenses and coaches’ stipends. Soccer Program Help make our soccer program competitive. Your donation will help provide uniforms, equipment and coaches’ stipends. DONATION: $250 Cheerleading Club Our Cristo Rey Philadelphia school spirit is alive and well in this group of students. Help them cheer on the athletic teams with your donation which will help buy uniforms and equipment. STUDENT LIFE Yearbook Club Your generous donation will help fund supplies and equipment, including a camera, for our yearbook staff. DONATION: $500 College Visits Selecting the right college is imperative for our students. Help fund the costs of transportation, meals and accommodations for these college visits. DONATION: $250 Theatre & Museum Tickets Philadelphia is home to some of the most amazing museums, artistic venues and historical attractions. Kairos & Retreats Cristo Rey provides opportunities for our students to attend retreats with classmates to explore their relationship with God, others and self. It is often life changing for our students. Your donation will help pay for meals, transportation, accommodations and much more.

Chess Club Checkmate! Our students learn chess strategies, tactics and rules while having fun. Your donation will help us buy chess boards and timers.
