College Prep
The mission of Cristo Rey is to provide a Catholic, college preparatory education and professional work experience to students from Spanish-speaking families with limited financial means. As committed alumni of a Jesuit high school, graduates become Men and Women for Others who are open to growth, religious, intellectually competent, loving, committed to justice, and work experienced. Service trips, retreats, and Masses are some of the most memorable moments for our students.

All Cristo Rey students take a rigorous college preparatory curriculum rooted in the liberal arts. Cristo Rey offers Honors and AP course options. A distinct feature about Cristo Rey is that all students participate in our dual-language curriculum which promotes proficiency in both English and Spanish. All students at Cristo Rey are provided with a laptop at no additional cost.
Work Experienced
The Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) provides our students with professional work experience while attending high school. Students earn a majority of their cost of education by going to school four days a week and working one day. It helps students think about career options and grow in maturity and responsibility—all while keeping our tuition low. Our students work at some of the best hospitals, law firms, banks, and financial firms in the Chicagoland area.
