GIBSON COUNTY MAN ARRESTED, CHARGED IN DOUBLE MURDER

Monday, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service Smoky Mountain Fugitive Task Force and the Catoosa County (GA) Sheriff’s Office, Frederick Yates Jr. was taken into custody in Ringgold, Georgia.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis woman is facing charges after reportedly biting a Memphis Police officer who was responding to reports of fights at her wedding. According to yahoonews, police responded to a report of a fight involving 20-30 people at an event venue on Summer Avenue near Waring Road sometime after 10 p.m., Friday. According to court documents, officers say they saw eight different fights happening in the parking lot and “spilling back into the wedding venue.”

Today, Brian McKenzie’s Jeep Liberty was found in a private gated HOA subdivision in Jackson, TN First reports have identified human remains inside but must be sent off for identification. Rooftop was visible 2 to 3 feet underwater and found by one of the local residents fishing in the pond. The West Tennesee Dive Team who helped us search other areas of interest earlier this year were on scene to assist in the recovery. Our thoughts are with Brian’s mother Frances and her family as they await further autopsy reports.
