NEW PRINCIPAL NAMED AT ROSE HILL SCHOOL JACKSON, Tenn. – Rose Hill School will have a new leader when the 2018-2019 school year begins August 3.Ê Dr. Teresa (McDaniel) McSweeney has returned to the Jackson-Madison County School System to take over the leadership position at the kindergarten through 8th grade school. Ê“My number one goal is to continue the culture of excellence and sense of community that exists at Rose Hill,” explained McSweeney. Ê“I want to build on this foundation to appropriately prepare students for high school and beyond.”

PITTSBURGH —The Pittsburgh police officer who shot and killed a 17 year old about a week ago has been charged with criminal homicide. Officer Michael Rosfeld (RIGHT)was one of the officers who responded to a drive-by shooting that injured one man during the evening of June 19.

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police arrested a woman accused of attacking a woman in east Jackson. Tiffany Williams appeared Monday in Jackson City Court on an aggravated assault charge. Police said Williams and several others attacked a woman June 20 on Lexington Street. Keith Officers said the victim lost some Reaves of her teeth during the alleged attack. Williams is free on a $5,000 bond. She returns to court at 1:30 p.m. July 16.
